This a good rental for a larger family gathering

What a fun house! This was the perfect place for our family of 16 to celebrate Thanksgiving together. So great to have a big kitchen, large dining table, and comfy living room all in one space. And enough bedrooms for everyone! It was close enough to walk into Yachats, and the ocean view is beautiful. Can't wait to visit again!

This was the location for my wedding reception on 10/28/2023. It was a BEAUTIFUL location with easy access to grocery stores and the ocean. We were able to watch the sunset from the living room. Plenty of people can fit here and there are so many gorgeous and well kept rooms. Thank you so much for making my special day special!

Our group of 11 women loved our weekend at Aha Lodge! There was plenty of room for group activities, as well as private areas if someone needed their own space. We were fortunate to have fantastic late September weather, so that added to the enjoyment. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We are siblings and spouses, ages 74 to 94, two of them with wheel chairs. The house was very handicapped friendly and lots of room and a great view of the ocean.we all agreed the beds were very comfortable. It is a short walk to the beach and the ones of us that were able walked down the beach everyday the four days that we were there. We all had a WONDERFUL time.

Super clean and wonderfully spacious for a big group. We loved the amazing ocean view, sunsets, and even saw a whale swimming around!

House has enough room for everyone to have their own space. Great stay and a great time

This house has amazing views of the Pacific and is great for big groups. There are lots of rooms and beds, and even an extra bed that wasn't listed originally. There were 18 people in the house but it felt like there was only 5 because of all the space. We had a wedding at Heceta Head and it was perfect for the bridal party and all our stuff.

This was an amazing, quiet and beautiful escape to the coast. We had a group of 12 women who were able to relax in such a spacious place! Kitchen was well equipped, living area was huge, beds were comfy and Candy was so so so lovely to work with. We will definitely be back next year! Can’t wait!

Beautiful house and location. However im not sure if the house was thoroughly cleaned as well as i feel it should have been. Within 45 minutes our feet were black from the floors and under beds had tons of dirt and hair. Its no fault of the owners but the beach was significantly harder to get to then i had thought. Candy was lovely when things went unfortunate for us though! We had a great time overall, thank you for having us!

We were happily surprised by the gorgeous ocean view! The home was huge and accommodating for the entire family. A huge bonus attraction was the 3 deer that came to the yard almost every day. So awesome.

Our big, blended family stayed for a looong overdue get together. The house was clean, comfortable and just what the pictures show. Beach access is within driving distance. Lots of room so that everyone had a place to get away from the crowd. Really nice views!

We enjoyed our stay. Wi-fi did not work when we arrived but the property manager responded immediately and the problem was solved quickly. Property gives good access to the Oregon Coastal trail and Cape Perpetua is just a few miles away.

We had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious and welcoming and with all the rooms and the layout we were very curious as to the history of the house. I hope you can give us some insight as to the original use it had back when it was built. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't get internet/WiFi. For a very short time, on our first evening there, it came on and off but then went out completely for the remaining days we were there. It kept us from being in contact with other family members who couldn't be with us and being able to share cell phone photos with them of what we were doing while we were there. Also one of my son's gifts, which was a new Playstation 5, couldn't be used because there was no internet connection. We enjoyed our table games and our meals and just having fun together. Having my 96 year old Mother with us made it so special and we enjoyed being there for this Christmas at the coast. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house was beautifully located on a hillside. The large windows and deck provided a beautiful view of the ocean and waves. All the bedrooms were comfortable. The living rooms were perfect for our large family group gathering. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

This property was perfect for our group's weekend stay for the Yachats Celtic Music Festival. There was enough room for everyone and the living/dining area was great for hanging out. The view of the ocean was beautiful.

Absolutely loved This house and location! It was perfect for our large family! And I consider it to be affordable! Everyone had a bed lol It was clean and a great play place for the kids. We sure hope to stay here again!

This was our second stay at Aha Lodge for our family reunion. The last stay was a few years back and we found the property to be in better shape than before. We plan to stay at Aha Lodge again in the future. We have a large family with siblings, their significant others and grandkids that range from 9 months to 15 years. There are plenty of bedrooms to spread out including an overflow room with 5 single beds. The large upstairs bedroom with 2 beds and attached bathroom worked well for the new parents and 9 mouth old twins. There was room for the playpens and The WIFI was good and supported streaming shows in the evening for the family to watch together. Even logging into work on occasion worked well. Two times the internet did go out, but rebooting the equipment brought it back up quickly. Mobile Cellular signal in the general area depends on your carrier. We found AT&T had a good signal, while Verizon and T-Mobile did not have a signal. This is common to the area and not specific to the house. Setting up WIFI calling on the mobile phone worked to make and receive calls on Verizon and T-Mobile. We enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the ocean view. No whale sightings but it was not quite the right time of year. The sitting area in the far garage was a great place to escape to for some quiet time. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great ocean view and centered in an area with plenty of outdoor activities in picturesque coastal forests. Our family was very comfortable in our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aha Lodge. We had a big group of 17–lots of room for all of us. Centrally located to many activities in the area. Within walking distance to the beach and yet just far enough away to feel safe with little people around the house. Loved the view from the back deck. Thank-you!

This was our second time at this property and we loved it. We are a big group - 17 - and the house is perfect, so big and roomy with a dining room table we could all sit at and such an amazing view of the ocean. Wi-fi/cell service can be spotty but that was fine for us, we were ready to un-plug. ☺

We loved Aha Lodge. The house was spacious and had lots of great amenities. Beautiful views from the windows and close to the beach.
