My family recently stayed a week at this property. We had a wonderful time making memories together but had some issues with the home i.e. multiple rooms had light bulbs that needed replaced, one hot tub was non-functional the entire trip, we had issues with the Wi-Fi, not all televisions connected to cable, we had a brief power outage/surge in half the home that caused an issue with the indoor pool so it was also non-functional by the end of our trip. The yard seemed much bigger on the pictures than in person. Overall the home was beautiful but it could have used a deep cleaning. For the price I would have expected all the amenities to be usable. ,

The Celebration is a beautiful home with plenty of space and plenty of amenities. If you are looking for serenity this is the place. If you are looking for solitude this is the place. Celebration has so much to offer. We will definitely rent again.

Overall disappointing. From the moment you opened the front door you saw in the foyer 2 benches and a throw rug that needed to be removed and replaced. When you went to sit down on one of the sofas you sank into the frame. The kitchen coffee makers were so greasy I didn’t want to touch them. The toaster was broken. Two out of 4 frying pans which were Teflon coated were so badly scratched they could not be used and belonged in the trash. The windows above the sink had screens that had not been cleaned for months. There was no sink strainer basket. The toilet seat needed to be replaced as well as the toilet brush which looked like it had been used to clean a sewer drain. One sconce needed a new ballast; not a bulb!
The indoor pool was lovely and someone did come almost daily to test the chemicals. The pool room has heat but the pool water is not heated and should be noted in the listing. The listing description of the beds in the bedrooms is not accurate. The chandeliers over the dining tables were laden with dust and the glass topped dining tables looked dirty because the glass tops needed to be cleaned on the underside. This house is dirty and is in need of general maintenance. I did not mention the bathrooms but again poor housekeeping and maintenance. There was no vacuum. We paid good money and holiday rates as we stayed Dec 26 - Jan 01. We did expect a clean and well maintained home. We knew it wasn’t new. I did take a few pictures to illustrate my comments.

While we enjoyed our time at Celebrations at Deep Creek, there were a few items we thought the rental
could improve upon (especially based on the weekly price we paid).
1. Not all beds were made upon arrival. The sheets were piled on the bed but the beds not made.
2. With an 8 bedroom house, I would have expected more than the one roll of toilet paper per
bathroom.
3. Same with large trash bags….a house that holds 20 plus people for a week and we were given
basically the three trash bags in the kitchen trash cans – 1 large black and 2 tall kitchen.
4. Limited cooking pans if cooking for 20 people.
5. Some of the slats on the chairs by the pool fell out. (hazard with young children)
6. Never did seem to get the lock on front door to work properly,

Perfectly nice
The house was perfectly nice, the description of the house particularly the bedrooms and associated baths would have been helpful. We often rent large homes at this price point and most bedrooms have there own bathrooms and this house does not and since there are no floor plans it’s very difficult to ascertain this through the description. For 15k a week it’s time for a bit of an update

Not worth the price!
Although this property appear to be nice and luxurious, it felt short from it. The house lacked cleanliness, and up keep. We had broken toilet seats, bathrooms with black mold, oven that did not work, shower doors off tracks, just to name a few. There were water stain in the pillows, and we were unable to use the outdoor facilities due to a sewerage problem the house was having and nobody bothered to fix until I had to call toward the end of our trip. Like I said, not worth the money at all. Our family will NOT rent with Taylor Made ever again.

Great House!!
This place was great, and more than big enough for 19 people. The pool, hot tubs and everything else worked great and were especially welcome in the rain.

We had a fantastic time! We rented a pontoon boat and pulled the kids around the lake on a tube, we went white water rafting at the Wisp, and hiked around Swallow Falls. The kids had a great time in the hot tubs and indoor pool. It was a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

26 of us came from various areas of the country to enjoy this "Kraus Family Vacay". It was wonderful to be able to stay in the same home and just be together as one whole unit. The home is just beautiful and view spectacular. Even when the weather didn't cooperate, we found enough to do to keep everyone happy. The indoor pool was worth its weight in gold!

All interactions with the Taylor Made staff were professional and positive. The rental process, from beginning to end, was smooth. In general, the property was in good condition -- some of the silverware and cups were not clean, the dead-bolt locks weren't operational on the sliders, the powder room's door frame was cracked, and the ice maker did not work. We also think that marketing the house as "sleeping 26" is bit misleading.

It was a peaceful week for our group of 23! We enjoyed boating, paddleboarding, fishing, the Discovery Center, Wisp and all those activities, and the local State Parks. The house was gorgeous and had all the amenities that we needed. Well, maybe a cake pan and good knives!

This property is over 15 years old, and she is starting to show her age. The lake view is obscured by an overgrowth of trees and shrubs. Some trees are marked with red circles...maybe these are dead and should be removed. The interior is a bit musty...some new bed linens might help. In the kitchen, several dishes were chipped and the cutlery was pretty inferior. Overall, the house needs a good power washing on the exterior, and a good purging of all old, broken, or stained items on the inside. Good news is that with a little TLC, Celebration would truly be a great place to enjoy the Deep Creek experience!

It's hard to make 25 people happy. But you did it. No one had a complaint. We had a ball . We went horseback riding, boating with the tubes, hiking kayaking, one of the great things was the two hot tubs after a day of hiking it felt good. The in door pool was a little to cold. It rained during the night days were beautiful. The house was clean had everything you would need Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Online photos were misleading. This is NOT a lakefront property. Garbage was not picked up. Waited until 4 on check in day and they were still cleaning. Cob webs everywhere. Baseboards dirty in most rooms. Den of skunks under hot tub, couldn't go out at night. Dock areas loaded with goose feces, kids couldn't go near water.

Pool was not heated upon arrival, oven was not clean which caused smoked detectors to go off and oven not working prorperly. Property management company addressed the issues. My stay at the Celebration at Deep Creek was wonderful. The house was clean, the pool and hot tubs were clean and operable. The home was fully stocked, and in a great location. There were 14 of us with plenty space to spare. The staff at Taylor-Made were friendly, helpful and very professional. I would definitely stay again, and recommend this house to others. One recommendaction to owner (make sure all showers are in working condition), the shower in the basement was not working, and was a small inconvenience.

The house was beautiful. However, I have to say the heat system was terrible. The space heaters they provided for the rooms did very little especially the rooms upstairs with the high ceilings. The fireplace downstairs wouldn't stay lit. We had to call for service twice. There were loose chair legs and I actually fell out of one and hit my head on the table so I didn't really get to enjoy Sunday or Monday. I did call and they came and got the chairs. Now for the good stuff. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen,the pool, hot tubs and the view. The house had everything we needed and were really enjoyed it.

We had an amazing week at Celebration at Deep Creek. We (6 adults, 5 teens/children) celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary there. The house was in great condition. The layout was perfect with two gathering areas....the adults socialized on the first floor while the kids/teens hung out downstairs. The views are beautiful, and we loved the location of the house on the lake. Close to restaurants, movies, ice cream shop, etc. The amenities are fabulous - indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, foosball, huge deck, spacious kitchen, flat TV's throughout the home, plenty of parking, etc. We enjoyed going to Wisp for some outdoor fun like Segway rides, canopy tours, and the mountain coaster. We rented a pontoon for the week and enjoyed time on the lake every day. Great to have your own private dock. The rental company was great to work with....they helped us get flowers for my parents into the home ahead of time, and had good suggestions for restaurants & things to do. We had a minor issue that was resolved within two hours with courtesy & professionalism. Overall, we all had a great week in this home. We hope to return to it in the future.

Very happy with Taylor Made Vacations - house is huge lots of room, clean and they do supply some of the amenities you need to get started - laundry soap,dish soap, paper towels, etc.... Only issue we had is when sitting on back deck every once in a while you get a odor of raw sewage.

Almost perfect, but outstanding none the less. This is a great house with some great amenities. The only negative I can give it is the fact that it is located near a septic field that occasionally gave out a nasty odor. Hopefully, the owners will address this issue with the county to get it fixed. Bottom line is we will be renting Celebrations again!

Positives: Amenities (indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, well equipped kitchen), furnishings, location, staff at Taylor-Made. Negatives: Trash containers inadequate for this size house. Upon arrival containers were packed full and overflow in plastic bags was torn apart by animals. We had to store bagged trash in house until Monday pickup. Lower level rooms were very damp, could use additional dehumidification. Overall house was clean on our arrival with the exception of the kitchen floor. We purchased a sponge mop to clean the floor.

from start to finish this house was packed with things to do. waking up watching sunrise over the lake, fishing on the dock, watching the families of duck, or sitting in the hot tub, sauna, swimming in the indoor pool, watching family movies together. Overall, our stay at Celebrations was wonderful! Property management sent maintenance everyday to treat the pool and the house was very clean and cozy. My only complaint is that a few of the dishes in the kitchen need to be replaced, as they are a little old and dirty. But, we were able to work around this issue by using aluminum foil. Thanks Taylor-Made for making our annual vacation memorable and fun!
