Everything was superb and the hosts arranged all excursions and transport. Food was fabulously. Felt like being part of a family@

Leaving! Could well have stayed longer if schedule permitted.

1) The Bora Bora Yacht Club and Restaurant is across from this pension and it is a 20 seconds walk. You can look at the sea and swim there as well. There is also a public bathroom facility at the Yacht Club. 2) Karen and her husband gave me a couple of free ride to the grocery at Vaitape. 3) If you book a Lagoonarium Lagoon excursion through the pension the price will be 11000 XPF instead of 13000 XPF.

1) Since the pension is only about 12 feet from the road, the traffic noise is 24 hours unabated. 2) Only the bedroom have air conditioning (AC), while the kitchen and the dining area do not, and so the temperature would go up to 94 degree Fahrenheit. If the fan is running then the temperature would go down to 88 degree Fahrenheit. 3) The nearest grocery store is about a 50 minutes walk.

I didn’t like this property

Bad location, old renovated house along very busy and loud street. No garden, no parking. Very expensive for such poor accommodation. Have to pay US$60 for cleaning, although we left the property in a perfectly clean condition. Kitchen, bathroom shared with other people. Unlike other hotels or lodges no curtesy transport was offered from the arrival place.

All perfect

No breakfast, but Karen is a super host. All queries answered. She went to great lengths to help me book a 4WD tour of the island, and also to help me book a velo (bicycle). Her house has been recently renovated and is like new.

After trying 3 different options of accomodations in Bora Bora is that the best choice on low budget. Karren is a lovely host and very helpful. Strong internet, independently and clean rooms, nice kitchen, 2 min. walk to the pier (where they picked me up by boat for diving). This place is safe, clean and cheap. I would stay here again next time.
