Stayed at 2433 with my family of five (1,6,8 year old kids). The views are amazing. Was a nice cozy condo perfect location on the gulf. Will definitely be back in the future.

This property was very clean and the location is perfect in Captiva!

We were unable to complete our stay due to cockroaches in OUR BED the size of our HAND! It was completely unacceptable and disgusting. Kim told us they probably need to spray again, and that “this is a normal occurrence” in Florida rentals. We called multiple times, sent text messages and emails and no help was provided. Alternative accommodations were not given, and we had to pay for an additional vacation rental. Save yourself a lot of time, money, and peace of mind and don’t book with Cockroach Kim!

Stayed here with my family for some much need R&R and received just that! We had plenty of space in the unit for our group of 4 and loved how the pool and beach were just steps away if we ever needed to run back to the house for anything! Check-in was so easy and Kim replied to my emails quickly.

Carpet and rugs soiled and need to be replaced. Walls need painting. Location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay

The property looks exactly like the descriptions and photos. The view from the balcony was gorgeous; you can hear the ocean waves day and night. Everything was clean and prepared for my arrival. The host was very fast with responding to questions. The wi-fi didn't work but there was open wi-fi for all guests, the cable TV reception wasn't good, but it was a problem caused by the cable company that was affecting everyone in the area and was beyond the host's ability to fix. This specific unit has a small single step before you reach the door, anyone who is 100% wheelchair dependent would have to trouble shoot how to get manage that step. My mother uses a walker/wheelchair and was able to easily manage the step with her walker. Everything else was great and I plan to return again.

Great area for a relaxing vacation.

We loved the location of the property to access the resort and town of Captiva; views were spectacular. We had a problem with the cleanliness of the condo but the owner responded immediately to have it cleaned. She is also going to wash the carpets that are filthy.

A location you can’t beat and a jaw dropping view. We had an amazing time here and can not wait to return. The owner replied fast and was reliable. The rental had everything you needed. Walking distance to all the shops, as located right inside the resort. The pools were nice and great beach access. Loved the two floors in the condo. Thanks so much!

The property is extremely dated and truly needs some TLC. Very tired and dirty rugs and furniture. No mattress padding or mattress covers on the bed so felt very unhygienic. There were plenty of towels and beach towels which were new so that was a plus. Also the unit is extremely spacious and has a good size balcony. Cushions on balcony chairs very dirty and moldy. Old beach chairs we had to use as well since you cannot use the resort beach chairs. Saw other units beach supplies and they were newer and in good condition. The toilets/showers were rusted, chipped, and moldy. A brand new shower curtain though which was good. The cabinets in the bathrooms were not clean. The refrigerator had very rusted shelving in the freezer and the coffee pot was corroded. I ended up cleaning the coffee maker to the best of my ability and the kitchen... as well as the significantly dirty window in the twin bedroom which was covered in soot and dust on the inside as well as the outside and couldn't be open as screens were ripped and the handles wouldn't crank. The owner's attitude was okay enough before we arrives; but felt aggressive at times about monies, the contract and the beach items. We also did not need to know her concierge quit on her the day before our arrival. It caused more stress to our already stressful situation of trying to leave before a blizzard. She was adamant we not arrive before 4pm on our date. It would've been so much kinder if she could have been a tad more flexibility with this as our travel was so tough due to the blizzard. The location is amazing I will say. Just go in with low expectations for the condo appearance and cleanliness. I peeked into other units in our building and they were pretty nicely appointed, updated, and clean. I will definitely go back to Captiva but will not rent this unit again. Overall we cleaned the place the best we could and rolled with it and had a very nice vacation.

Last-minute trip to escape winter for a few days. This condo delivered. Postcard views, great location. Owner Kim was very helpful. Notified me of extra availability so I could extend my stay. Watched sunset into ocean from screened porch. Didn’t utilize beach gear, but looked well stocked. Several restaurants, two general stores, and Starbucks an easy walk from condo. Two heated pools out front. Upper floor offered quiet along with the views. Beach is star of the show. Miles of clean, uncrowded sand. Effortlessly relaxing. Would definitely book again. Two thumbs up.

I love the location, but the condo needs some repairs. It does not seem like money goes back into the condo. When we arrived, there were large pieces of broken glass in the downstairs bathroom, the paint/wall paper is peeling on some walls, and the remote to the TV has several layers of tape holding it together, both large beach umbrellas were broken and toilet paper holder falling off the wall. These were all minor issues and overall the condo is good while spending most of the time outside. This is my second time renting this facility because I love the location and views so much, but might go through the actual resort next time.

We enjoyed the location of the property and the views from the unit are fantastic. Kim and the property manager were very responsive with any of our needs and questions and the check in and check out process was very smooth. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Went for a long weekend girls trip. The condo was clean but outdated. But we didn’t spend much time in there anyway. The washer/dryer are on the bottom floor of the building and require quarters, which we didn’t know. It’s a super short walk to Starbucks and doc fords for lunch/dinner. Easy access to 2 pools. There are 4 beach chairs, but one was broken so we bought a new one to leave there. Overall it was a nice place. Had everything that we needed.

The condo has a great location and you can easily walk to many places outside of South Seas and avoid the hassle of parking your car. Condo is well stocked and next door to units owned by South Seas. The owner emailed me a contract that was different than the contract on the VRBO web site. The emailed contract allowed the owner to charge damages directly to my credit card and not go through the VRBO process. VRBO is not easy to work with, but it was not cool that a contract with different terms was provided and I did not have the option to cancel. We signed and returned (through VRBO) the contract that was on the VRBO site when we rented and it worked out. The only things missing for this stay were being able to use the South Seas lounge chairs, umbrellas and trolley. FYI - South Seas only allows purchases at the Ships Store unless you are staying at a property rented through South Seas. There were 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs at the condo.

We enjoyed our family vacation very much. The view of the Gulf of outstanding and i appreciated the A few small things need updating such as the dish washer, blender and garbage disposal. Overall, I was very pleased.

Very easy to book this rental place. Restaurants are priced very high with just average service. For a group of four with one alcohol beverage each is easily $120. We are a party of 6 and paid on average of $175 for our main meal of the day.

Property was very clean and nicely appointed. Beds were very comfortable and the linens were wonderful! Very much a plus! The view was spectacular! Easy beach and pool access. The only issue was the sliding glass door wouldn’t lock, but being on the top floor and the porch was screened in, it didn’t bother us. Would definitely stay here again!!! Wonderful vacation!

Can’t do anything in South Seas without the wristband and this owner does not provide the wristband with the unit. Can’t use the pools on the north end of south seas. Can’t go to the beach side taco place that serves drinks, can’t use the on site gym. You don’t get beach chair and umbrella service either.

The property itself was good however the owner was condescending, rude and just plain mean. I asked questions that were answered in the info provided. Being a working mother of 3 I admit at times I did not take the time to thoroughly examine every detail however her responses to me were upsetting enough that I will never rent another property from Kim Dennis again.

Great location, clean, everything worked, no real issues, very much enjoyed the stay overall and would recommend. Only two small nitpicks. First, booking the property from the owner was a confusing process that almost made us re-think renting. Perhaps she is really pressed for time, but the communication could've been better on the front end. Second, it would've been nice if all the beach chairs and blow-up toys etc. were not stacked on the balcony, since that is the place where we spent most of our time and it took a decent chunk of prime space. Not a big deal, just some feedback. Overall had an enjoyable stay here without any problems.

Great communication from owner. Clean and as advertised. Easy to get to and great to have the use of the chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and coolers for the stay. Tons of towels for the beach/pool. Awesome!

The condo and the pool:beach were great. The building was starting to look old worn and dirty. It was not cleaned well as there were bottle caps q-tips that were on the outside halls that remained there all week. The paint was chipping all over and the rubber rugs under the garbage bins were ripped and curled. A potential hazard for someone to trip on. People were rude if you sat on the beach chairs for a few minutes if you didn't have a wristband on. The condo and view was great but a little disappointed in the upkeep of the resort.

We had a difficult time checking in and the owner was rude and combative. Broken keyless entry, broken slider door lock, broken beach furniture left in a mess on the patio. The unit is dated, dark and dingy. The master bedroom bed is horrible and needs replacing along with the bedding. The view is amazing and the location is perfect. There are many other units run by the resort, rent one of them instead.
