Walk to Blowing Rock from Our 2BR/2BA Condo
Notre emplacement en ville offre une grande commodité! Vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à la célèbre rue principale du centre-ville de Blowing Rock, où vous trouverez des restaurants, des magasins, des jardins et un grand parc de loisirs pour les enfants. La copropriété comprend deux chambres de maître, un emplacement calme au 3ème étage et de nombreuses activités à proximité pour plaire à tout le monde. Et bien sûr, il y a toujours des jours d'été frais à Blowing Rock à une altitude de ~ 3600 pieds!
Chaque chambre contient une salle de bain complète et un lit queen-size. La chambre principale comprend une commode verticale et une armoire. La deuxième chambre comprend un téléviseur HD 32 '. Le plafond voûté du salon offre un espace qui ne peut être obtenu qu'avec une unité au troisième étage, un foyer au gaz sans conduit, une TVHD avec DVD et une chaîne stéréo avec lecteur CD. Une cuisine bien garnie vous permet de préparer vos plats préférés et comprend un réfrigérateur avec machine à glaçons, cuisinière à dessus lisse et lave-vaisselle Bosch (électroménagers neufs en 2008). Sont également inclus un four micro-ondes, un grille-pain, un mixeur et une cafetière.
Le complexe est à moins d'un mile et demi de la Blue Ridge Parkway. De là, vous avez un accès facile au Parkway Craft Centre du parc Moses Cone (milepost 294. 1) et à ses nombreux kilomètres de sentiers de randonnée. Julian Price Memorial Park (milepost 297) est à quelques miles au sud sur la promenade et offre un lac de montagne pittoresque et la navigation de plaisance. Grandfather Mountain, avec son célèbre pont tournant d'un kilomètre de haut, est à environ 15 miles au sud et possède également un zoo et divers sentiers au sommet de la montagne. Un mile jusqu'à Rte 321 est le Tanger Outlet Center et quelques miles jusqu'à Rte 321 est Appalachian Ski Mountain et le parc d'attractions Tweetsie Railroad. Un peu plus loin se trouve Boone, en Caroline du Nord, où vous trouverez l'Université Appalachian State University (ASU) et une grande variété de magasins et de restaurants dans son grand quartier commercial.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable, convenient condo! The walk ability to Main Street was great! The walk is uphill and the condo is a third floor, but we were glad to get the steps in!

We stayed for a week and found the property convenient for our favored activities. It was spotless, modern, and decorated just enough to be attractive but not overdone with unnecessary clutter. It is close enough to Blowing Rock retail to walk yet removed from the traffic and noise. It was also close to our favorite hiking trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway and outdoor recreation. Closets, drawers, and cupboards were roomy, allowing us to put our stuff out of the way. The condo was quiet; I never heard traffic from Rte 321, dogs barking, or other guests or residents. Everything worked; the water was hot, appliances functioned, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Our grandson accompanied us, so it was nice to have two bathrooms. It is on the third floor, so you do have to haul things up the steps, but they are upfront about it. The only thing that would make it better would be a view of the mountains, but the lovely, well-kept courtyard offered a gazebo surrounded with redbud, arborvitae, and hydrangeas.

There was one minor problem. The air conditioning unit was in the living room kitchen area. When the bedroom door was closed at night, the room became pretty warm.

Condo had everything we needed. So nice not to have to purchase paper towels and tissue for a 3 day stay. Kitchen well equipped. Owner very responsive to questions. Love the location.

What a perfect home to stay while exploring the area with a little kid! Great communication, very clean, and just such a perfect space for our little family. There’s so much to do in the area! Definitely recommend staying here to explore Blowing Rock!

The unit was perfect for my husband and two kids (4 and 7) for a long weekend. It was a ten minute walk to all the cool shops/restaurants and the playground. Good communication with the host, and easy to check in and check out. We’d stay here again!

This place was very cozy. A little small but efficient layout. One of the bathroom toilet and shower area was very small. The beds were a little firm. Could use some updating. But an overall nice place to stay. Very convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and Appalachian ski mountain. Had a good weekend stay.

The condo had everything we needed for a quite long-weekend getaway. The property was convenient to shopping and restaurants but is situated where you don't feel others are on top of you. The owner made sure we were familiar with the condo setup and he he was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would stay there again.

This was a comfy, quiet condo that suited our needs well (a retired couple). It's only a couple of blocks from downtown Blowing Rock and easy to find. The host Bill has done a fine job of providing for his guests with plenty of linens and kitchen utensils, even some spices. We used it as our base for forays into Moses Cone Park for great walks during the fall color. And of course Blowing Rock is a delightful little town to visit. My only caveat is that, as he mentions in the description, it is on the third floor, so consider what you need to travel with and haul up the stairs.

We had an amazing time driving the Blue Ridge Pkwy and seeing the glorious colors of fall. Our rental was in a great location to everything. Great stay and would recommend.
