Charming. Comfortable, even luxurious. Beautiful grounds and 2 minute walk to downtown Vineyard Haven. We loved it.

We had a great stay and can’t wait to return. The location is within a short walk to everything in Vineyard Haven (including ferry), and the cottage is perfect for a couple’s get-a-way. Owner was very responsive and informative. We are glad we chose to rent this cottage.

The property was near perfect. Very clean and well appointed. It was better than expected. Very cozy and comfortable. Bed was great. Nice kitchen. Doesn’t have a microwave. Odd. Drank a lot of wine on the back deck. Convenient location. Would definitely consider again next time I come to the island.

My husband picked this place to surprise me for a nice getaway. Our first time to the island, Christine was helpful with all the information we would need on easiest way to get to the island and to her place (we traveled from Ohio) The Barn is in walking distance from the ferry, walking distance to restaurants, shops and buses (our main transportation besides walking) The barn was super clean. The few things that mean a lot to me are the comfort of the bed - it was perfect, the shower, nice place to sit outside, comfy place to relax indoors, and the coffee and no kidding it all was perfect. We would highly recommend The Barn !!

This cottage is just perfect for a couple looking for a luxe experience that’s close to everything. It’s just a block away from downtown Tisbury (including a Shop & Stop grocery store), and a short walk from the Vineyard Haven ferry. if you brought your bike over on the ferry, you could get to Oak Bluffs or Edgartown quickly and easily. It has off-street parking, a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, wifi, toiletries, even coffee! Christine was so easy to work with and was even able to lend us a tool when we needed one. Can’t recommend the location highly enough. Just perfect, and we can’t wait to come back next year!

Beautiful one bedroom converted barn in quick walking to downtown Vineyard Haven with shops and dining. Easy to get to the buses, a must to get around the island. The owners were lovely and quickly responded with a new hairdryer when the one on the property stopped working. Highly recommend this for a nice get away for a couple.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was absolutely perfect for us- the renovated barn was spacious for 2 people and had everything we needed. It was even more charming that the photos. The yard and landscaping are also just beautiful. Christine was available if we needed her and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The barn is steps away from Main Street in Vineyard Haven. It was relaxing to walk for coffee; walk to the shops; walk to dinner. I highly recommend!!

Lots of natural light, open and airy, nicely furnished and spotless. Convenient location for restaurants and shopping in Vineyard Haven and for access to busses to other towns on the island. Christine's brief orientation at check-in was very helpful for first-time visitors. Private porch and yard very nice. Excellent communication with the hostess throughout booking and visit. This converted barn has a feel of history too.

This property was perfect for us. Clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen has everything you need. Conveniently located, 2 minute walk to Main Street, where there are lots of shops. My husband and I spent nine days here and we loved it. It really was the perfect place for us.

This was our fourth time visiting MV and staying @ this property. The homeowner is very accommodating and helpful! A notebook inside has many recommendations of local places to visit. The barn was stocked with everything we needed! The location is perfect for walking into town to shop, go to the beach, take the bus or ferry. We highly recommend visiting this beautiful haven. This is a beautiful, cozy cottage that is perfect for two people. The inside is spacious and clean and the furniture is comfortable. It has a wonderful, shaded backyard with comfy chairs as well. The location is just one and a half blocks from main street in Vinyard Haven so you are just a 5 minute walk from shopping, restaurants, and other attractions. A 3 minute drive from the ferry if you are coming in that way. Also, a 5 minute walk to the bus terminal, which will take you pretty much anywhere on the island. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing property in a great location! Loved every minute of our getaway here, didn’t want to leave! Close to everything but also quiet and peaceful. Christine was lovely and provided some awesome recommendations as well. Perfect getaway!

I have rented quite a few vacation rentals in the US and elsewhere and manage two of my own properties, so when I say that this was the best overall experience of all time, it’s high praise. The converted barn is beautiful and charmingly decorated just the way you would expect a beautiful house in MV to be. The photos don’t quite do the place justice. Fresh flowers, a nice assortment of teas, cute mini jam containers, olive oil and balsamic vinegar bottles were there for us to use. The bed was comfy, linens were high quality, and there were also ample towels and beach towels/chairs/umbrella as well. The barn has its own private yard with a little deck and Adirondacks on the lawn where we saw little bunnies frolicking in the garden. Christine our host is a gardener so the yard had beautiful perennial borders, stone walls — all the stuff you envision for a perfect New England get away. The location was fantastic as well. 1 short block to Main Street where you can find great restaurants, shopping and a nice spa with great massage services. All Star bike rental is also a short walk away and has really nice beach cruisers with 21 speeds. Perhaps the best part of the experience was our wonderful host, Christine. Present but not intrusive, she was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. In the “above and beyond” category, she even brought some clothes I had forgotten to the airport before we took off and later mailed me my AirPods. All this at a very reasonable price point with great proximity to the airport and other attractions. What more can you ask for? We cannot recommend this place enough for a lovely getaway to MV.

Stayed alone in this impeccably clean and perfectly furnished, adorable barn. One block from Main Street so easy walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Christine was super helpful. The barn has everything you need for a terrific stay. Bed was super comfortable, new AC and lovely furnishings. Loved it!

Great experience! Christine was an amazing host! She responded quickly to any questions we had and the house was immaculately clean. Everything was very close by only a block off of Main Street and 20 mins to Oak Bluffs!

This was our third visit to the Vineyard but our first at this VRBO, which helped it also be our best vacation to date on the island. The reviews are accurate, this place is perfect. Impeccably clean and every detail was thought of already. Christine was a gracious host - she recommended local restaurants and sights to see, most of which we visited. In addition, she is a fellow flower gardener and took time to give me a tour of the entire property with its extensive flower beds. It is as beautiful as the converted barn where we stayed. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the barn. Cute and very clean property. Our host was very accessible and gave us suggestions of things to do. The house was well stocked and well thought out. We had some rain,but made the best of it and enjoyed the nice days. Great location for walking into town. We had our car with us and were glad we brought it. Especially on the rainy days, and after getting a feel for how big the island was, we were glad we didn't just have bikes. We'd love to come back sometime. One of the best experiences we've had of a property on VRBO.

Very relaxing with all the amenities of home. We had everything that we needed, Christine was very hospitable and helpful, the property is in a great location and you can walk to eat and shop. I would definitely stay there again, it did not disappoint!

Best of: ✔️Location- can walk to everything in downtown Vineyard Haven. ✔️Cleanliness - the place was clean, bright, and fresh ✔️Host- attentive, helpful, and friendly. ✔️Parking- we had our car with us to get up island and leave it in our off street parking at the rental property when we didn’t need it. Weather- ok so not related to the property but we had all sun and pleasant temperatures for the week. (Mid May) Everything was great staying here. We had everything we needed and Christine was very attentive when we reached out with any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

The property was centrally located in Vineyard Haven, but still private. Christine was wonderfully friendly, kind, and accommodating. The lodgings were comfortable, clean, and absolutely perfect. We would love to come back every year because this was since an excellent experience and a perfect birthday/Mother’s Day treat with lots of history (historical converted barn).
