Linden Place is a new gated Cabin located in the middle of Bluegrass Horse Farms

I love this place! Perfect for a 4 day getaway. Bill and Gussie welcomed me and made me feel so safe. I definitely want to stay again! So relaxing with all the comforts of home.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. It was easy to get to Georgetown and Lexington. The cabin had everything we needed to include snacks and some breakfast options. There were couple of hawks to greet us one evening, perched in the tree, and they were beautiful. The horses were also nice to wake up to in the backyard

We could not have been any happier with our stay at Bill & Gussie’s cute and cozy cottage. These hosts go out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed. Everything was provided, including a personal tour of the cabin and recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the community. The cabin was clean and the weekend met our needs for rest and relaxation. Although the hosts live close by on the property, they respected our privacy and we never felt like they were hovering. We will definitely visit again in the future. Thank you!

The hosts are wonderful. This place is close to the National horse park, Georgetown KY, 10 mins to town. 10 mins to Old friends retired horse park and more. We found this place very comfortable. Try the outdoor shower! We had a great time just doing adventures and stopping for a break at the cottage. Easy in and out. If you are expecting high end this aint the place for you but it makes up for that with comfort, budget friendly rate, and It's location

Wife and I had a wonderful, very relaxing stay. Only short drive to town. Hosts met with us at check-in to show us around the cabin, which gave this a personal touch. Even had our names on a sign at the front property gate! Very nice hosts. Snacks and bottled water supplied were very much appreciated.
Only issue we had was there were several wasp nets inside the outdoor shower enclosure, making it impossible to use the outdoor shower. That was disappointing. I texted the host, but he must not have noticed my text, because I did not receive a reply.
Other than the wasps, it was a wonderful stay.

We loved this place! Gussie met us in a downpour of rain to welcome us in and show us around. It was very cozy and just perfect for us. We will definitely stay in this place in the future.

The cabin was very cute and perfect for us. The farmland surrounding the property was gorgeous. The owners were extremely accommodating and kind. We would highly recommend this to anyone needing a quiet getaway weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as advertised. The owners greeted us with a welcome sign on the fence and were there to show us around when we arrived. They had a basket of snacks in the cabin and drinks in the fridge. Would definitely stay there again.

We came to town for the Bourbon Burn bike ride and had a wonderful stay at the property. The owners came to meet us upon checkin and make sure we had everything we needed and knew how to work the features of the home. There is also a comprehensive manual of how to work things in case you forget. The home was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. The outdoor shower was a wonderful treat after a long days ride. My husband preferred the indoor shower with all its relaxing jets. There was an ice maker which was an excellent surprise. Along with breakfast foods to get our day started off right. We really enjoyed our stay on the quiet property.

I stayed over the weekend while in the area for a horse show. The cabin is very nice and I enjoyed every minute there. The owners were most helpful and I appreciate their attention to detail.

Bill & Gussie were the best! Very easy to communicate with, and greeted us upon arrival. Our stay was very comfortable and clean. Location was ideal if you want to be in Kentucky Horse country. Would stay there again if ever traveling back to Kentucky!

Very nice studio style cabin. Even though the cabin is on the owners gated property we had complete privacy and never saw them except at arrival and departure as we were leaving the property. Bill and Gussie were very accommodating and responsive to all of our questions prior to making our reservation and were wonderful hosts to work with and are truly good people. The cabin is perfect for two people and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The property is sizable and we were able to take our two dogs for nice walks around the cabin. The mini fridge was stocked with bagels, cream cheese, and milk. Cereal, coffee and a great selection of snacks we’re also provided. This property is located in the heart of thoroughbred horse country and we will not hesitate to recommend this cabin to friends and will stay at this cabin in the future.

Bill and Gussie have created a beautiful safe quiet space on their gated property. Lovely environment of trees and flowers and birds. They greeted me and showed me around before my stay; had snacks, breakfast items, coffee and tea. It was so clean and comfortable. I stayed there while visiting my RVing children at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground, a easy drive. The perfect hideaway.

From meeting us to show us around the rental, snacks and breakfast in the kitchenette and making sure we were completely taken care of during our stay, Bill and Gussie went above and beyond!
The location cannot be beat! A quick drive to the city but far enough outside to “get away” from the craziness of town.
10/10 would recommend this little cottage to anyone planning a trip to the area!

Phenomenal. Great setting, quiet, peaceful and in the middle of the scenic Kentucky Blue Grass region. Hosts were there to greet us. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well stocked (!) with coffee, tea, goodies and even more goodies. Bill and Gussie have a beautiful property, with the hand built cabin in the back allowing privacy for their guests. Kentucky Horse Park and Old Friends Farms very close by and highly recommended.
We participated in the Horsey Hundred Cycling 3 day weekend. The roads, the farms, the horses, Georgetown, restaurants etc… all were exceptional. Thank you- Bill & Gussy

This was just what we needed for a quiet weekend getaway, to unplug and recharge our batteries. The cabin was very clean, bed very comfy and plenty of snacks provided! The area itself is beautiful! Multiple horse ranches, rolling green hills. Location is very close to eating, grocery store and shopping. Would stay here again, hopefully soon! Thank you to Bill and Gussie for being such thoughtful hosts!

Bill and Gussie are exceptional hosts and their cabin is a great place to see all that Lexington and surrounding areas have to offer. We spent Breeders Cup weekend at Linden Place and it was an easy drive to Keeneland; we returned to their tranquil setting.
They greeted us upon arrival, the bed is exceptional, they generously provided snacks, breakfast items, water, coffee, teas, etc., and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. . . Our names were on a welcome sign as we entered their lane.
We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Lexington if it is available . . . It is a fantastic place to stay! And we appreciated the hospitality.

The Stay was great/peaceful/fun. Everything was very lovely. Liked not having to worry about snacks for a little bit, since some bagels/cream cheese, cereals/oatmeal and a basket full of snacks.
The rental was directly behind the host house, but you really could not see it since there was a little building blocking it. The only time that we really saw the host was when we went to ask a question, and they were great about recommendations if needed. We really felt at home and if we come that way again will stay there or recommend it to someone we know. It was nice having a big property to walk our dog around.
Only suggestion I have to future guest is do not get scared if you hear something hitting the roof in the middle of the night. It is just a Walnut when they fall off the trees in the Fall.

The property was beautiful, hosts very sweet and helpful. Cabin is cozy and bed is wonderful. My daughter, from Nashville, and I, from Indianapolis, met for a day at the horse park. It was perfect and she enjoyed the outdoor shower. Some other reviews mentioned house construction next door but it looks like outside is nearly finished. No work on weekends. Grab a bag of ice on your way in, for your cooler if you need ice. Plenty of privacy even with the owners home on property. We will definitely return if we are in Lexington again.
