Excellente propriété située à 1,6 km du centre-ville de La Fortuna, la maison est une excellente option pour les familles qui voyagent ensemble, les amis et les couples. Il ya 5 chambres avec A / C, une unité centrale située dans le salon et la cuisine vous tiendra frais et frais après les aventures quotidiennes et 3. 5 salles de bains. Love the area of this property and we fell very safe , only a little problem it’s not good for elderly people like our group. Too many steps

The house looks much bigger and open in the pictures. Some of the room descriptions stated 1 double/1 twin but it did not state the twin was a bunk beds. The stairs leading upstairs were extremely narrow. They were dangerous for kids and elders. It was extremely hard to carry luggage. The shower upstairs did not drain. One listed 2 bunk beds but was extremely small with not room for luggage my sister and nice ended sleeping on the couch.

Home is as pictured. Clean and spacious! Was great to have two covered outdoor seating options in addition to the large inside dinning table. Rooms quickly cool off with individual AC units. Great to have washer/dryer. As many other reviews mentioned, walking distance to great restaurants, grocery stores, shops. Yet still a quiet neighborhood. We preferred Super Rosvil (2 min drive/10 min walk, better selection) for groceries over Mega Super. Is less than 10 min walk to El Salto (rope swing and waterfall - a must do!). Eder and Alan from Home Vacations were quick to respond before and during our stay. Felt safe! Driveway is gated and home has alarm system. We were disappointed to have missed out on a meal with Guiselle. Next time! Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

This was such a wonderful home and we enjoyed every part of it! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location to the main area of La Fortuna! The hosts were so helpful on our journey from San Jose because of rain and made sure we had all the information we needed to make a safe journey. They drove us to our home to give us a tour and made sure we had everything we needed. Guiselle and her cooking made this trip a dream! She was so welcoming and the food was amazing. We were even asking her for her secrets! Definitely a great place for a family to stay!

We loved our stay at Arenal Family Home. It is in a great location, and the onsite restaurant was really good.

It is a very nicely located， everything is 10 minutes or less. Owner lives just next door.
The washet and dryer us a huge plus since it rains everyday.
It does have a few issues with the house but it didn't bother us. The plumbing is old, needed fixing or replacement. Otherwise it is good with teens.

Exactly what we hoped to find… a centrally located place with access to all the things we wanted to do in the area and a comfy spot for the family to spend our downtime. Communication was great, hosts were responsive, neighbors were quiet. Definitely recommend.

First impression- beautiful landscaping - central air throughout - fun outdoor area, with plenty of shelter for rainy times when you want to be outside - comfortable beds and large living space and outside decks - close walking to town 15 min. - close to hiking, mystic bridges, horseback riding, Los logos hot springs and waterfall repelling 20-30 min drive and some are less. We did all. It was fabulous. Allen was very helpful at arranging everything and made all our arrangements. Definitely would recommend. Thank you for everything

All great. Absolutely nothing I can say that was bad. Very clean. We had a family of 9, and there was plenty of room.
Great location, walking distance to the city if you don't have a rental.
All rooms had great A/C. Beds were all good. Plenty of hot water even when everyone was using it.
Have Guiselle next door cook for you. Yes, there are plenty of good restaurants in LaFortuna, but it was very convenient, great food and it makes your vacation easier. Thanks for the fantastic food!

We stayed here with two other families and it was perfect. The shallow pool offered them ease for swimming, and the house was located close to downtown and other amenities.

This property is great for a large group - plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The property caretakers were so helpful and kind!

Just got home from our stay in Costa Rica. It was a group of 10 best friends all women. I can’t say enough about our stay. Giselle the home owner met us at front door and went over everything with us. She made us breakfast every morning that we are still talking about. She helped us order pizza to hang around the pool. She was an excellent host. She even squeezed fresh juice and had that waiting for us. Alonso from the tour company took care of everything from start til finish. He arranged transportation and tours. Got us rides in and out of town. He was quick to answer all my questions. He was amazing! Town is only about a 10 minute walk, the area is safe, lots of great places to eat and go dancing. We hiked, swam in waterfalls, went on ATVs. Baldi hot spring was an incredible experience. Overall we could not have had a better time or picked a better home. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you for showing us an amazing time!

The check in process was not an easy task. We had to go into town meet with manager. He then drove us to the house and then we had to have a 20 minute speech on house rules from the owner. All this could have taken place through email. Also a keypad or door code would have been preferred other then wasting an hour going into town then going back to the house. The rooms are more for kids aside from the master. The lay out was awkward! However if you have kids the outside area was great! Do not recommend this house for adults but it’s great for families! It is a great location and was clean!

We had a wonderful stay. Our group of 9 people had 4 kids aged 4-7 and the pool area was perfect for them! There are plenty of beds and seating area in the house to accommodate quite large groups.

Lovely home for our family. We enjoyed our stay and Eder was very helpful with all our needs.
Two items that could be improved:
1. We had two elderly family members with us. The house does not accommodate people with mobility issues. There are unnecessary steps within the house and uneven landscaping walkways outside. It would be good if this were stated in the description.
2.After a huge day of travel, we had to stop at the office downtown before proceeding to the house. It would have been much easier if someone from the office just met us at the house to let us in. It added another 30 minutes to an already long day.

Our family had a terrific time staying at Eder & Allen's property. While we were not off on a fun adventure, booked for us by Allen at Home Vacation Properties, we were chilling poolside just taking in the perfect temperature that Costa Rica had to offer. Accommodations were exactly as advertised and Allen was quite responsive every time we reached out. Thanks for booking all those excursions for us Allen, our family really enjoyed them!

While we kept ourselves busy throughout the days of our stay, it was so nice to come back to a relaxing and comfortable house in Fortuna. The house and outdoor space were perfect for our group, and provided entertainment for everyone!

We had a lovely time staying at Arenal Family Home. Spacious, well stocked and walking distance to La Fortuna. Giselle was very helpful, especially when we forgot to get milk from the store or had trouble ordering food from a local restaurant. The vacation rental manager helped us with transportation. Jesus, our driver, was informative and kept us tranquilo in Pura Vida style!
Highly recommend Arenal Family Home.

We were very happy with our stay. It was clean, quiet and a great location for us. We had a rental car and were advised to not drive up at night after our flight arrived. Very good advice!
Our host, Giselle was very sweet and helpful.
We had one dinner and two breakfasts which were all great.
It was very easy to find the property and super convenient to everything we wanted to see in La Fortuna. Highly recommend the waterfall and the Mistico Park with the swinging bridges. We also enjoyed the Natura Preserve with butterflies/frogs/snakes/crocs/turtles/pigs and rabbits.

We stayed at this home with another family, 13 in all. There was plenty of room for all of us, and it was very comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed the pool with the waterfall. Gisele cooked dinners for us which were both delicious and very convenient after touring. Speaking of touring, the property management company did a great job of coordinating tours for us. Eder and Alonzo were fantastic.

This was our 1st time in Costa Rica and the overall experience was amazing. We were a group of 15 ages 24- 35. Eder was extremely helpful in setting up all activities, transportation, and even meals. Some things I'd recommend doing would be the hanging bridges tour, ziplining, and Arenal volcano hike. We pretty much did this all in about 2 days which I thought was enough time. The property was about a 15 minute walk to downtown La Fortuna where you have different food options. About 10 minutes from the house was a local watering hole where we went and got to swim. The house was perfectly located, and gated which was not needed but nice to have. Additionally, we ate breakfast each morning at the house where we got home cooked meals which were very good and affordable. Overall, great experience and highly recommend.

Our stay at this house was wonderful. I left a review already but here is another. The house was spotless clean and very comfortable. The pool was immaculate and we enjoyed the waterfall and bbq deck. Gisselle is an excellent cook and teacher. We loved her cooking class for tortilla making. We couldn’t have asked for more. The home is in a good location just south of downtown Fortuna. Only a 5 min drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Very clean and typical to the area. The hosts live right next door and were very helpful when we needed something.

This location was private and secure. It’s spacious enough to give people room to do what they want. Unfortunately it rained when we were there, so we didn’t get to try the pool. Guiselle is an on-site house manager. We were able to put in a breakfast request with her for the morning we left. It was nice not having to think about where to eat or running out to get groceries.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The owners live in a separate house on the property and we’re very welcoming. You only see them when you need them so you have a lot of privacy. We had Eder book all of our excursions and they were fantastic. We are already planning our next trip to LaFortuna!!

The host was extremely nice and accommodating to our large party. The pool and large house with lots of sleeping areas was perfect for our large family gathering! We loved the outdoor area and the homemade meals!

The on-site owners were amazing and we felt like family. The on-site restaurant meals were SO good, fresh and and varied. You could choose American or Costa Rican for the meals and we LOVED all of them! We were so sad to leave, you must stay here and enjoy the family traditions and love of Costa Rica!

Everything was so organized for our stay in La Fortuna. The bus from the airport, check-in, delicious meals on the property to the tours that we requested were all perfect.

The home was great for our group, we had a mix of age ranges - young kids to grandparents. The pool was nice because it wasn't super deep and the kids could touch all the way to the deep end. I would also recommend utilizing the option of homemade meals at the home of the property owner - the food was delicious and she was a wonderful host! Lots of space for sleeping and nice outdoor space for bird viewing.
