Beautiful Frankfort Michigan Vacation Home
Rénové 4 chambres 2 salles de bain complètes à domicile. 10 couchages plus la chambre pour des lits d'air supplémentaires (fournis). 2 chambres ont des lits queen size. chambre 3 a 2 taille réelle. Chambre 4 (en bas) a 1 complet et 1 double, idéal pour les enfants !!. De plus, il y a un sauna sec de 4 à 5 personnes et une laveuse et une sécheuse au sous-sol. Il y a un garage attenant pour 2 voitures converti en une salle de loisirs avec une table de ping-pong (le ping-pong n'est pas disponible pendant les mois d'hiver).
La maison est à distance de marche du centre-ville de Frankfort et du lac Michigan. Juste en face de la rue se trouve un grand parc avec basketball, courts de tennis et skate park. Conduisez vos vélos tout au long de l'allée jusqu'à des centaines de kilomètres de pistes cyclables et de sentiers pédestres. L'épicerie est à seulement deux pâtés de maisons !!
Si vous choisissez de conduire la maison est à seulement 20 minutes au sud de Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. En allant vers l'est, vous êtes à 20 minutes de la station de ski de Crystal Mountain ou à 20 minutes du drive-in historique Cherry Bowl. Pour un peu plus loin, vous êtes à 40 minutes du centre-ville de Traverse City ou à 45 minutes du centre du pays viticole. Enfin, le complexe de golf Arcadia Bluffs se trouve à 25 minutes au sud (il y a 3 autres terrains de golf dans différentes gammes de prix en 20 minutes).
Si vous avez choisi de vous détendre à la maison, nous avons fourni un écran plat 50 pouces avec DVD / Blue Ray. Il y a également de nombreux jeux de société et une table de ping-pong (le ping-pong n'est pas disponible en hiver) dans le coin petit-déjeuner et un garage attenant pour que la famille puisse en profiter. The house was nice.It had all the basic things you might need, plenty of room for the 5 of us. I personally loved sitting on the large porch. The location is nice and close to all the cute shops and Lake Michigan. I would definitely recommend staying there.Iwouldrecommeujwas nice. It was very close to

We spend large amounts of time on the porch during our stay, watching the world go by and all the people enjoying the park across the street. We walked to town every morning. Won’t be able to rent the house again next year because of having a walking toddler around the many steps in and outside of the building. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend this stay

We stayed over New Year’s with our small dog, young adult and teen children and the house was a great place to stay. Check-in was clear and communication with the host when we had an issue with the cleaning company (not the host) was extraordinarily fast and responsive. Town was very quiet, and the place is close enough to walk to the local coffee shop and down to the beach for a morning stroll. The playground and skate park right across the street are great— bring a basketball to shoot hoops there in the summer.
One of the bedrooms is in the basement (with an egress window, so it’s safe) so know that going in. We didn’t use the dry sauna. The small dining table is near the entrance and seats 4, so if you have a larger group you’ll be eating meals in the living room— not a problem at all for us, but FYI.
The main bathroom and shower is amazing and brand new.
Overall this suited our needs and we’re glad we chose it.

This home was perfect for our long weekend. Big space to sit around and visit with long time friends in front of the fireplace. There were 4 of us so we each had our own bedroom. Town was walking distance and lots of stores open. We even had a nice day to sit on the porch and watch the kids at the park. The only thing I would recommend to pack is a makeup mirror. Since there was 4 women in our group we felt an extra mirror or two would have helped. We highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy Frankfort.

We have visited the Frankfort/Beulah area for years now and this is the first time we found a home in Frankfort that would work for our extended family trip. It accommodated all of us nicely, all of our kids loved the park across the street, and it was just a short walk into town. For the price, you can't beat the spot!
The only things I would note for future renters is the slope down to the road in the front yard is steep and there is open access to the basement steps so that may be challenging with littler children. The road is a busier one so just be aware for kids going to the park. There isn't a dishwasher or central air, but we managed fine without both. I do think some new pots would be helpful in the home.
Overall we had a great vacation here and the host was wonderful!

We spent a week at this home - myself, my wife, our 21-year-old daughter and our 18-year-old son, and we had a wonderful time!
The kitchen was adequately appointed with large modern appliances and enough plates, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking gear (but no dishwasher). The living room was spacious and comfortable. The basement washing machine and dryer were older but worked just fine. There was no dining room per se, just a breakfast nook down the hall with a table that seats four or possibly five. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water but not enough pressure to run both showers at the same time. The ping pong table in the converted garage was a big hit with our adult children, and we used the room as a convenient and safe place for our cat to stay overnight. There was no air conditioner, but this far north, even in August, it was not needed. The big attic fan with the windows open was sufficient.
The location was great. The house was walking/biking distance to the Frankfort shops, public beach, bike/kayak rentals, grocery store, and several excellent restaurants (plus multiple ice cream shops). Sometimes we were lazy and just drove there in three minutes. Parking was generally not a problem if we were willing to walk a couple blocks during busy hours. Further afield, the Betsie Lighthouse, Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City were all close enough for a day trip. And right across the street was a park where I played basketball with my son.

We had a lovely stay in Frankfort! The home was so cute and was laid out very nicely. Plenty of room for our party of 7 to enjoy time together each evening. The big family room couch was cozy had room for all!
During the day there was a lot of wonderful things to do for our family in town and the Frankfort beach was wonderful for the kids. So many hiking trails that led to the beaches and Sleeping Bear dunes near by was another big hit with the whole family
The home was stocked with all the basics you could need, beds were cozy too!
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

"Things that were downsides for us (our family too), which could be easily improved upon include the need for new towels & some washcloths, (I would add new sheets-one room's was stained), new silverware and cooking utensils, overall cleanliness, new (CLEAN) set of cookware/bakeware, (microwable glass dishes for microwave) a clean fridge/freezer" (food left and spillage debris in freezer) and a small dishwasher so that the dishes in the cupboards are clean. (or a small container to wash the dishes -we ended up using one filled with household stuff under the sink-so the whole sink was not needing to be filled with water for washing and/or leaving dirty dishes).
I have to add -sweeping under furniture, wiping down furniture spills baseboards for clean appearance a must.

I grew up in Frankfort and get together with family once a year to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas early. This house is always clean, and hosts are very open to communication. It's across the street from the part and and just down the street from my parent's house, so very convenient. Very roomy, and homey feeling.

Up North Vacation
Had fun doing all our favorite things around Crystal Lake. House was just the right size for my family. Enjoyed the ping pong table. Unfortunately they were paving the road fight in front of the house while we were there. Also this years the alewives were all over the beach.

This home has it all. Plenty of bedrooms to spread out, a phenomenal showering experience in larger bathroom, dry sauna, two fantastic bikes for cruising around town and shore, a cool bar and grilling patio and also a ping pong table in garage with cornhole as well. The kids especially loved playing out there.
Comfortable beds and living room furniture. A front porch with very comfortable chairs that you will find yourself whiling away the hours with a beverage of your choice.
Host treated us extremely well also.

This was the perfect place to stay in town for the race! Short walk to the race or the beach, comfortable and clean. Family watched me go on the bike course from the front porch! My son had a blast playing ping pong in the garage and shooting hoops across the street at the park. We just had a blast staying here!

Fantastic week in Frankfort
The house was clean, well-furnished, and conveniently located. It was comfortable for our party of 8. We could walk downtown and to the beach and drive to all of our favorite places to visit -- Sleeping Bear, Point Betsie, etc. The hosts were very prompt with responses to questions. We had no issues at all, and enjoyed all of the amenities the house had to offer, like games and movies. The teens especially enjoyed the ping pong table! We definitely hope to stay with you again. 2 week stay
We had a great vacation. Always plenty to do. After 47 years of visiting the area it was our first time in early June. Second week was sunny but chilly. House was adequate for eight to ten. Porch was the most used. Lots of park activity across the street. Only real issues were water pressure, cookware could stand an upgrade but we probably cook more than most. the driveway is extremely narrow making entering and exiting car difficult, especially for us older people. Neighbors dogs bark a lot We made the best of it and had a great time. Thank you.

Much needed R&R- chilly spring break
Had a nice relaxing time, very cozy. Chris and Pam were quick with responses. The house was as listed and we’re already talking about going back. The main thing I’d recommend is bringing an air purifier for the basement bedroom, it was quite “basementy” as some of the other reviews said, we kicked the dehumidifier on as soon as we got there but I really think a purifier would help quite a bit. The smaller kids had a blast playing hide and seek and the park across the street is pretty convenient. Thanks again!
