Es war perfekt. Wir waren leider nur 2 Nächte dort, aber wir kommen definitiv wieder. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, auch zu unserem Hund. Wir waren auf unserer Schweiz/Italien-Tour in insgesamt 6 Unterkünften und keine Unterkunft kommt an das Hotel Espen heran. Das Frühstück war bemerkenswert - verschiedene Brot-, Käse- und Wurstsorten, Aufstriche, unglaublich guter Cappuccino!! Und auch das Abendessen war perfekt. Wir haben in der Suite übernachtet und waren begeistert. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer auf den See, der direkt vorm Hotel liegt und auf die Berge war traumhaft. Die ganze Suite ist einfach toll. Die Lage ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt -alles fußläufig in der Nähe, was man braucht, inklusive Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (zum Beispiel zum trübsee). Kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden. Danke für wunderschöne 3 Tage und bis bald!!

This is such a hidden gem. Nothing not to like about this property.

Great location, amazing staff, comfy beds (although too close to each other), reasonable breakfast, very clean room and good shower. Would come back at any time.
Individual bed lights would be great.

Very good location if going to the Mt. Titlis. I stayed in one of the dorms with 4 other people.

The room was excellent with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains! It was new, clean and spacious for 4 people. The hotel facilities were also quite nice.

Perfect location. Room was ideal and the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dinner was delicious!

Price for value
They assigned me a wrong room already assigned to someone else. I had to ask and search for somebody to help me. After some time the issue was fixed
My room it had a roof window which suddenly made pretty loud noises at midnight. I had to wait until just stopped
I know staff doesn’t have control but other guests (a group of kids) made a lot of noises until late night

The experience was horrible, the worst I’ve ever had. In the middle of the night, around 3 am a drunk men started hitting on the door to the point of almost breaking it, he was yelling and very violent. I had to put the bed in front of the door e wait for him to go away. The hotel did nothing about it and said that it’s normal when you stay in a hostel. It’s definitely not ok nor normal. The front desk laid was really rude.

excellent location with fabulous views. extremely clean. not sure if it’s brand new or recently renovated but it’s to a very high standard.
The room had only one chair, had to bring a plastic chair in from the balcony so we could both sit together. quite specific shaped electric sockets that we havent came across before & we have stayed in Switzerland many times previously, we had to borrow an adapter from reception which had been fixed (apparently) but it was extremely temperamental. reception wAs closed more than it was open. both of our electronic door keys stopped working, when I found someone in the restaurant to ask, I overheard them saying that I was lucky that they were there!!! i then got told off for keeping my keycard next to my phone & was told not to do it again!! staff in all werent very welcoming. i thought it was highly overpriced.

The most amazing view from a hotel balcony you could ever have 😍. It is at a walking distance from Mount Titlis Cable Car. Also have a play area to try table golf with multiple levels.
The Breakfast was OK, you cannot access the coffee machine on your own.

Very clean and smoothly running hotel. The breakfast was standard quality with very nice bread and friendly service.
Some additional items for breakfast - such as the opportunity to have eggs - would have been nice.

I was lucky to be alone in the dormitory room. Very modern and new facilities , everything was super clean
WC/Shower rooms are right in the dormitory room which might be a bit bothering when its full.

i like the location and the view only .
The facility is bad. and the staff are not professional to dealing with the guest , if i need to ask about any thing-in the reception i have to wait more than 15 minutes because the staff they are serving in the restaurant they are trying to avoiding us when they saw us .its very difficult to talk with the staff .

Very good location and Nice rooms. The view on the lake is stunning. The rooms are fully sound proof althought they give on the main road its impressive you dont hear a thing and have an amazing night rest.

The noise level at night - the hotel has various rooms for larger groups. Some of these had loud arguments in the corridors during the night.
