Always amazing place the little Urirostock. I have been stopping here several times by now, both in summer and winter. The place is always warm and cozy, rooms are not fancy but comfortable, the dinner is simple but generous, the breakfast with all local handmade products is fabulous. And when you wake up in the morning, the most beautiful place in the Swiss mountains hugs around you, with the little river that sings and splashes over the rocks just under your feet. I returned and will return again.

As I said in a previous review of this place, the only complaint I have is about bath towels. A hotel MUST have only white towels, colored are not acceptable.

The owners we’re very welcoming, friendly, flexible and caring. When we had a risk of not being able of coming because of problems with our car, they were willing to move the reservation to the next day. Happily that was not necessary and at arrival, they made us a sandwich at 10pm. The breakfast was also very good.

location wonderful

Amazing spot, lovely hosts, breathtaking surroundings and great place to stay in Switzerland for those who want to avoid the very touristy places. My friends and I loved everything about this hotel and the village of Isenthal. I highly recommend staying at Urirotstock!

There was nothing we didn't like.

The scenery was spectacular. The hosts were very welcoming. The local food and wine were excellent.

The narrow road upto the village was challenging but the end result was spectacular.

A good breakfast. Very plaisant landscap with the charmant twitters of birds and the sound of the mountain stream.

Nevertheless, if the place is very pleasant and the landscape beautyful, the road to reach the hotel is very narrow. If I had known that, I perhaps would not have booked that hotel.

The food was excellent, room was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. Thanks to Rudi and the other staff for a fantastic stay.

Location and staff are great! Price versus facilities (free parking, good breakfast) is great and would definitely stay again.

I don't recommend coming late at night, road going there is narrow with a step angle in some places and would avoid doing this again.

Amazing location. Especially if you come at night and then wake up in the morning and see all thus beauty! The breakfast was very good. If you want to feel the Switzerland atmosphere, you should come here!

Lot’s of fly’s but this was everywhere not just hotel, however hotel did nothing to phelp prevent them away from food Rooms felt slightly damp

Stunning location. Very relaxing with the added bonus of great food and excellent host. Traditional bar and restaurant where we enjoyed our breakfast. Wish we had stayed longer as only had one night.
