As you look around this home, you can see that it holds precious memories as we are making new ones. We stayed for 9 days with our children and grandchildren. It was magical as we enjoyed meals together with a beautiful view, playing games, hiking and kayaking. We give it our recommendation for sure!

It was easy and the owners were wonderful

Great house, some things needed fixing and cleaning but overall nice and big. Parking is very tight so don't try any large vehicles.

It was a little hard to find and there wasn’t as much parking or as good a place To turn around as we thought but once we got in and got settled It was great.

We had a great time and all went well. I highly recommend this place.

Nice house with fantastic view. The property description is very accurate. If I had one suggestion it would be directions pertaining to the driveway as it is shared by multiple homes and a bit confusing(especially at night). The house is a great value.

We had 10 adults and 7 children (ages from 10 to 15). There was plenty of room for all of us. The lower floor had a pool table and a ping pong table. There was plenty of room and activities for the kids. If you come in the winter be sure to bring car chains if you don't have snow tires and 4 wheel drive.

This property was amazing. Very spacious. Plenty of room for all of our large family. We enjoyed to pool table, ping pong, and the space to relax. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

It was excellent stay specially the back yard with awesome view of Teton. Only suggestion is to clear the front Landscapping and hot water

It was so quite, the view was amazing. We had everything we needed. House is well stocked. Very roomy and comfortable. Host were fast to respond and very helpful. Definitely a place we would stay again.

We had a blast at this location! The house is a lot bigger than the pictures show! And we had a blast!! The only thing and room for improvement was the entertainment features.. the pool table, table tennis, and dart board including the items used to play them are in rough shape and on the brink of unusable.

18 or us went out for a family get away. House had everything we needed. Room for the whole family. Sight of the Tetons is awesome. Drive to Yellowstone was about an 1.5 hours. But worth it. We all had a great time.

We had a wonderful family of 17 stay at the Durtschi homestead with its large, clean space and fantastic views of the Tetons!

The location of this house was spectacular, with views from almost every room. But, the overall dirtiness of the house even seeped into this area. The windows (facing the mountains) in the downstairs bedroom were so covered with dirt that it was impossible to see out (I had to wash the windows myself so our daughter and son in law could see the mountains . The house has ample rooms and bathrooms (we had 16 people) but two of the toilets backed up numerous times. Also, one of the bathrooms was so small that it was difficult to move, (especially the shower, and we are small people). Also, when we arrived, this same shower had about 6-8 bottles of shampoo and body wash (and two dirty washcloths) on the floor, making it even harder to shower. When we arrived at the house, there was a very bad smell downstairs. We contacted the owner/manager and he sent someone to fix it, immediately. The kitchen was adequate but rundown and in keeping with the rest of the house, it was dirty. There were some unclean dishes and pans and the stove and counters had a slight film of grease. We have stayed in many vrbo’s and this home did not meet our expectations. Although the property managers were very responsive we would definitely not stay here again.

Our group of 18 really enjoyed our stay at the Durtschi home. The layout was particularly nice as the bedrooms are spread over 3 levels and different ends of the house giving everyone their space. We loved hanging out on the deck and enjoying the view, playing games on the lower level, and watching hot air balloons fly by in the morning. The home was well stocked and functioned as described. We would definitely return!

Nice big house with plenty of beds. Good place for big groups and close to Grand Targhee

We loved the Durtschi Homestead. This house was built for large groups. There was plenty of room, the kids were entertained, all responses from the property managers were almost immediate. The house had everything we needed. And, the views are absolutely stunning!We were skiing at Grand Targhee. This is the first time we have stayed off the resort, so we were worried about the travel. However, the distance was not bad at all. Some people have complained about only having 3 bathrooms, but we found them adequate for a large group. We would definitely stay here again.

Let me start off this review by explaining that I am a vacation rental property owner as well as a business owner that relies heavily on reviews. It is very hard for me to review products/properties negatively because I rely on positive reviews in both facets. We have rented many vacation rentals in the US, Europe and Caribbean. We have also been on the road for going on 8 weeks now, renting vacation rentals in different locations each week. This property was our 7th property on this trip thus far. Every previous stay has been rated 5 stars. There were 5 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs for this stay and we had plenty of space for all of us. The views are great and the location is quiet yet located near a lot of trails, parks, towns, etc. Sunrises and sunsets as well as star gazing are great from the deck/backyard area. Here are the issues we had: The biggest complaint - I have paid a lot less for a lot nicer house with similarly beautiful views. The actual property was not worth the money. The one pager with property information and rules states that ongoing landscaping is occurring and although the grass was mowed, there was serious overgrowth on the stairs/walkway to backyard from deck making it difficult to go to yard from upper deck. There is a cleaning fee for each reservation and I know my fee went to cleaning after our stay, however we showed up with dishes that weren't clean yet put away, dust on doors and trim, dust cobwebs on walls, pubic hairs found in bathroom. My husband said it’s like a house no one really cares about. There was paint peeling both on the interior and exterior, broken cabinets, backsplash falling off walls, and a broken sprayer in kitchen sink. Additionally, on the note about property, it states that there is an hourly fee to clean the grill if left dirty but the night we went to use the grill, it was dirty and there is a broken brush left to clean the grill. We cleaned it before and after our use. We had issues with a toilet overflowing twice, even though we followed the directions for use. Pool sticks were missing tips, ping pong paddles were warped, darts needed to be reassembled. We killed a couple of ants in the kitchen It does get hot in the house during the day and there are minimal fans, which all were dusty. I have never had this many issues at one property and although some issues are minor, the frustration added up. Although great for large groups, I would not recommend for the rate

Our group of 8 adults and 3 kids had a wonderful time here! The house is in a very quiet location but quite convenient to both Driggs and the Ski Resort. The view of the Tetons was fantastic! Plenty of room for all of us, everyone had there own bed. The property manager responded promply and effectively to a minor issue. I would advise a using a 4 wheel drive vehicle during the winter.

The property was just as described along with a perfect view of the Grand Tetons. Our property manager, Eddye Bean, went above and beyond to see that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Our grandkids skied and tubed and, along with their parents and grandparents, toured Yellowstone on snowmobiles. The memories made will be cherished and they were definitely enhanced by the courteous service of the property manager. Great week!

The house in general was fine, but it could have been a little more comfortable if the AC was working for the room in the loft. Rooms are fairly small and the 3 bathrooms can be challenge for a large group.

The check in process was great, we were just given a code to the property. When we walked in, the house was uncomfortably hot. It was 85 degrees outside and all of the windows were closed. We went to turn on the air conditioning, only to find out there wasn't any. This wasn't mentioned on the listing. We opened the windows (and found a few broken ones) and turned on the fans that were available. That helped a little. As we were opening doors, there was a screen door that was broken. We also saw a dead mouse in between one door and the screen door. Needless to say, we left that alone and did not use that door. We also had a visit from a neighbor letting us know not to drink the water. I contacted the property manager when we got home for the evening (10:00 pm). I was grateful that he responded, but unfortunately he wasn't much help. He manages several properties and knew that there was an issue at our location with the water in the spring, but wasn't aware that there was a problem now (mid-July). Luckily there was a grocery store not too far away and we were able to purchase water. Overall, it was nice to have the space for our entire group but I would not recommend this property to anyone. It has not been well taken care of and wasn't comfortable or very clean.
