Beautiful and quiet location in the jungle, wonderful layout, nice and knowledgeable owner. Refreshing pool, good breakfast and lovely animals.

This was off the beaten path and a wonderful place to stay on the central Pacific coast outside of Quepos. Just what we were looking for to experience an authentic piece of Costa Rica. Markus, Tulio and the rest of the crew were fantastic. Beautiful grounds and an amazing place to see wildlife and natural flora.

I give my highest recommendation for taking the hiking tour of the property with Markus (owner); it was exceptional. From tasting tropical plants and fruits found along the trail to holding a poison dart frog to swimming in the upper river pool the hike was the highlight of our week in Costa Rica. My 18 year-old son and I learned more about the flora and fauna of the surrounding jungle on that hike with Markus than we could have in a week on our own. The beautiful 100-acre former cattle farm is a mix of primary and secondary jungle. Rich with tropical flowers, trees, and wildlife, it has several kilometers of hiking trails. We stayed in two guesthouses, Casa Naranja and Casa San Antonio. Both were exceptionally clean and offer a well appointed kitchen. Of note Casa San Antonio is the renovated original house on the property and has natural ventilation augmented by ceiling and floor fans, as needed. Casa Naranja blends modern and traditional décor seamlessly and has air conditioning, if desired. We were completely comfortable and enjoyed both immensely. We ate breakfast and dinner on the property both nights. The meals were excellent and the open air dining pavilion next to the pool offered an ideal setting. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Costa Rica. If you want to escape the hectic hustle and bustle of packed commercial resort properties and relax in a tropical jungle paradise surrounded by nature but with the tasteful modern comforts, Hacienda Mil Bellezas is the place for you.

We had the privilege of staying at the Hacienda Mil Bellezas for two nights last month. This place is a small piece of paradise nestling in its own rain forest in a panaramic valley. It is so peaceful and tranquil, it was best to be quiet and just take it all in. We stayed in over seven different properties as we travelled around Costa Rica and this by far was the very best. Head and shoulders above the rest. Marcus is a perfect host making sure that everything was in order and to our satisfaction. We were fortunate enough to go horse riding to a private waterfall and stream and enjoy a leisurely swim. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

Breakfast was pretty good, sausage or bacon would have made it better. Location was the best! Half hour to quepos. Privacy is a big deal for me, and I got plenty of it at Hacienda Mil Bellezas.

Everything. The owners were fabulous, very welcoming and helpful, we didn't have any food with us and they kindly offered to make us some dinner which was fantastic. This was without a doubt our best stay during our 3 week tour of Costa Rica. The whole farm has been looked after and loved with passionate owners, the bungalows were nicely decorated with everything you would need, beds comfortable and views from the veranda were spectacular. Extremely relaxing atmosphere, wonderfully quiet and peaceful with excellent walks all around the farm and their property. The pool is relaxing and a wonderful outside kitchen for breakfast in the morning. The location is slightly remote and without a car, you would need to organise a lift up to the property - although if you're happy to hike 5/6 kilometers it would be a nice walk through the palm groves. I Marcus was really helpful and great to chat too, we wish them every happiness in their farm venture. We would most definitely stay again. Thank you :)

You won’t regret staying here - it is a magical location in the jungle with a stunning pool and gracious hosts. We were welcomed by the owner and had a delightful cottage with our own terrace. The pool has the most incredible views. There are no bugs in the evenings so you can sit outside and enjoy the jungle noises. You are able to book dinner which was delicious and would recommend. The work and effort that goes into this place is amazing. There are a number of walking trails which we enjoyed including a swim in the river. This is a very special place to stay. Oh you get nice white cotton sheets and great towels!!

Markus is an excellent host and he is always keen to make the extra step for your comport. The guest house is perfectly located in the middle of the nature and the area gives plenty of opportunities to discover. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Well-equipped and clean country house with all the necessities including washing-machine. Perfectly ventilated inside with pretty outdoor space to sit and enjoy view and sounds. Even as it close to coastal area it doesn’t feel as hot. Refreshing swimming pool. Nice friendly host.

The property owner is very kind and helpful! The property is covered in gorgeous hiking trails. The river swimming pools are incredible! Our favorite place to hangout was the covered outdoor kitchen and swimming pool area when we were relaxing.

I would recommend fixing the screens in the house to reduce bugs. I would also recommend installing an air conditioning unit to increase overall comfort for some people. Lastly, I think some overhead fans in the outdoor kitchen would be a great addition to help keep the air flow moving.

Gorgeous experience, this place is very special. Be sure to go for a swim in the amazing ponds and do some horseback riding

From the moment we arrived to the property Marcus made us feel welcome and at home. He offered us to hang out at the rancho near the pool so we could truly enjoy the beauty of the property, we made use of the amenities such as grill, stove and pizza oven (it needs charcoal and about 3 hours to get it hot enought to cook in). He has been living on the property for almost five years now and has extensive knowledge of the property and the connecting trails which lead to a few swimming holes in the river, a few waterfalls, and a few observation points where you can see the Pacific ocean. His property is located about 25 minutes from downtown Quepos. His staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions.

It is amazing place with pool and relaxing area with full kitchen. House was big and bedrooms with couple of windows were perfect. You can look nature from the bed. Here is horses and can take a trip. Hiking trails start from garden. Owner Markus has done real paradise from thi place.

Wonderful location and a wonderful host. It would be a shame to visit without doing a hiking or horse tour through the private forrest. It was amazing!
