We liked everything - great base, all needs catered for, very clean and very comfortable.

We have no complaints.

The bungalow was a perfect size for our group of 3. The advertised two large doubles turned out to be one large double and a twin but that was fine for us. The beds were very comfortable and the property nicely decorated. It’s an old property but in the main it was presented in a modern style. It is very close to Totland Bay and the needles.

The parking was tricky as the bungalow is accessed via a grass and stone track at the back (front of property is on the main road, has a gate, steps up and then long front garden so not used) you have to manoeuvre your car into a very tight space so not easy if you have a large car. The kitchen is a good size with plates etc for 4 people. We were going to use the frying pan but it was greasy to the touch so decided to avoid. When we left we stripped the beds to help the person looking after the property and were horrified to discover the mattress protectors and duvets were badly stained. The duvet covers and pillow cases were crisp and clean but we felt the duvets etc should be replaced as this would put us off returning. There is only one key which operates the front and back door which felt a bit strange. We had to choose which one to leave it near at night. No problems for our visit but it would have felt safer if we could get out of either if there’d been the need to exit quickly in an emergency.

The main problem was finding the house, as the access road is down a small hidden track at the back. No detailed instructions were provided, but just a link to Google maps which was not adequate. No tea towels were provided and there was no hand towel or rail in the kitchen.

The property was excellent equipped. We could even charge our electric car. There was a fire stove, big TV with Netflix and Prime to watch. In the garage was a washing machine and a tumble dryer. And we really had enough space in the house with all the comfort. The bed was good, the towels were white and fluffy. The house was spotless clean.

Really lovely holiday home. Perfect location, only 5 mins walk away from the beautiful Totland Bay, we went there every afternoon/evening after being out for the day. Home was spacious and clean. Nice amount of pillows on the bed, fluffy towels. Really handy having the washing machine and washing line. The kids loved the little gem in the door window which reflected light like a disco ball! Nice selection of board games although our kids were a bit too young to play them. The big tv was great and had netflix so kids could watch Thomas and Friends whilst we got ready/made dinner etc! Garden was well maintained, had a nice little chat with the gardener. Had a nice welcome hamper too that had crisps, biscuits, bottle of wine, bread etc. Good amount of dishwasher tablets.

Beds were really, really soft. One of the windows in the bedrooms didn't open (it was a very hot week and we wanted the sea breeze to come in!). The cabinet light didn't work in the bathroom but it made no difference to our stay, just thought I'd mention it so it could get fixed. Would be good if some toys were available for younger kids too. Would also be brilliant if some beach things were available for use in the garage, for example body boards or a parasol what with being so close to the beach. The Information Folder could do with more information about where to empty bins and what could be recycled. These are just little suggestions to make it really excellent but I want to reiterate that we had a really lovely time there.
