Location is great, right next to the beach. The chalet was clean with everything we needed for a short stay. Staff were very nice and helpful. Check in and out was quite easy.

The property was great. No frills but perfect location right on the beach. Parking was great and easy access to bars, restaurants and not too far to metro and ferry to N Shields and on to Tynemouth.

The location was just what I was looking for on a short break. It was a treat to be able to look at the sea while having breakfast.
Wasn' t sure if towels were meant to be provided but that wasn't a problem as I improvised easily enough.

The location is perfect, the chalet was clean and well presented. The owner is super friendly and helpful, the gentleman who was helping out around the place was also really friendly and kind.
Take slippers, it’s the one thing I forgot and regretted just because the floor of the chalet gets cold but electric heaters are provided and warm the chalet up lovely.

Staff were lovely
We have stayed here numerous times but never have I stayed in a chalet that was stinking of vomit ,our first night was horrible as I spent the night cleaning trying to.rid the smell ,the next morning the cleaner even came in and smelt it and said we shudnt have to stay in it .we ended up all poorly so had to ho home a day early .sadly we won't stay here again

Poorly, dated accommodation it was freezing cold, only a little electric fire, heater in bedroom was broken, light didnt work, mould in bathroom, mould in bedroom, holes in walls, simply awful :-(

Definitely the location.
The two chalets in our group were needing some modernising. Also, through booking.com it is not easily apparent that people must bring their own towels and soap. And smaller bedroom needs a heater.

What a lovely little find. Right on the beach front. Loads of local amenities, pub right next door so no need to cook... plenty to do.. Staff are really nice and helpful.
Nothing. My husband struggled with the electric heating but that's no ones blame, his health at the moment. The chalet was lovely and warm .
