What a lovely place. The dock and backyard was such a relaxing place to unwind after a hectic day. I'm a retired public health officer so cleanliness is very important to me - the place was immaculate. The owners made me feel very welcome and were available if I needed anything. Definitely will return.

I chose this rental because it was listed as being a premiere host. The property was amazing. The pictures cannot capture just how incredible the view is from the apartment. It was absolutely lovely waking up every morning to the water view. It far surpassed my expectations. I will definitely recommend to others. I will definitely book again, hopefully soon.

Had a wonderful time at the condo; location was great for walking downtown or to Sunset beach. Lots of amenities, comfortable bed. Owner was very accommodating and quick to reply to any questions. Great dock to sit out on for morning coffee or afternoon drink. Would definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful and conveniently located place to stay and enjoy our short vacation. Carol & Bill are the most gracious hosts They welcomed us personally upon our late arrival to make sure we and our dog (a Westie) were OK and comfortable.

Our hosts were there to meet us. They even helped us navigate our boat through the Anclote River to their dock. Apartment was super clean and cozy. Plenty of outside lighting. Relaxing swing by dock to take your cares away. We will definitely be returning soon.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is nicely furnished and decorated, had the right amount of space for us with all the amenities we needed. And it was impeccably clean and up to date. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the views and sitting on the dock enjoying the lagoon and wildlife. It is located in the heart of Tarpon Springs and close to the beautiful park and beaches. We will stay here again each time we visit family in the area. Carol is a great host who made our stay as easy and comfortable as can be.

We cannot compliment Carol and Bill enough as hosts. They have supplied you with anything you can think of, and then some, to give you the best stay possible. The apartment is adorable, clean, comfortable and in the best location in Tarpon Springs. We will definitely return again for future visits!

Good views, cold a/c, great bed, water access, shopping and dining close by, ample parking, cold A/C, stairs a little much, but still, for the money, well worth it!!!

We had the best time at this location. I can highly recommend it. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing from the private dock and our dog loved swimming in the water. The apartment was perfect for us, with a nice and new kitchen to cook for the night we decided to eat there. Everything was very clean. The neighborhood is calm and safe with many good beaches and restaurants close by. The owners, Carol and Bill, are wonderful people and great hosts! We hope to return here very soon!

We had a wonderful time here. The location was great and the hosts were very respectful, friendly, and let us know to make them aware if we needed anything. They gave us some good travel tips, and the dock was wonderful, with the water view from the back. We were also close to 2 really nice beaches. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

This condo is beautiful, bright, and tranquil. A great value. The kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed. I love to cook and used a lot of the housewares which were plentiful. I enjoyed every minute in and around the condo (outside near the water, in the dock swing, sitting on the grass, or at the picnic table). The laundry is easy to access but not noisy. I only had neighbors for a couple of nights but I never heard them. There is plenty of privacy in this unit. I did not want to leave, and I plan to return. Carol was very easy to work with, quick to respond, and very accommodating.

We stayed at the property for 3.5 days with our toddler. It was close to a couple of kid friendly beaches and it was nice to watch the birds and other wildlife at the canal behind the house. Unfortunately, I do regret choosing this apartment due to subsequent communication issues with the owner. Several hours before our flight back, I received news that my grandfather collapsed and EMT crew was trying to resuscitate him. Two hours went by without information, before learning that he had passed away. While this was going on, we were in shock and glued to our phones, processing and understanding what happened. Ultimately, we had to scramble and quickly pack as we were close to missing our flight back home. The following day, the owner messaged me about being dissatisfied with our cleaning of the property. Apparently, the cleaning service they use and charge a fee for only includes sanitization and laundry, so it was their expectation that the counters be washed, appliances cleaned, no trash left inside the trash bins. Even though, those expectations were not communicated to us previously, I apologized, explained how much stress we were under during packing, and offered to compensate for any extra cleaning expenses. However, even after mailing the check, I continued to receive nasty messages and basically threats. The lack of empathy and the added stress during an already emotional time is regrettable.

The rental process was made very easy by Carol, who made sure we had what we needed and all questions were answered. When we arrived, later than expected, everthing was clean, and lovely decorated (pictures don't do it justice) and ready to go. Kitchen is well equipped, bed was very comfortable, shower water pressure was good. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock in the backyard with his brother. We definitely would recommend this comfortable place and are hoping to get back to it ourselves!

The apartment is located in the safe and quiet area. It is a very clean and well maintained place. Sitting on the dock and watching ducks was relaxing. We had everything we needed and even more. The host was excellent and available if we had any question. We had a great time and can recommend this place to others.

We had a wonderful time in the apartment and area. Carol and Bill were fantastic hosts....warm and welcoming. The apartment met all our needs as it was cozy with a fantastic view of the lagoon. The location was great for walking to the sponge docks and local parks. We will be returning for a longer stay next winter.

The property is even better than the pictures. Carol and Bill are great. We can see ourselves renting again.

Just a fabulous place to stay. Apartment is wonderful and so close to everything. The deck and water were priceless, and perfect for enjoying the beauty of jumping fish, feeding herons and chasing rays. Definitely going to be a yearly visit.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here a great deal. The cozy apartment had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the evenings watching birds. Our hosts were friendly and happy to share tips on where to take our kayak. The location is great; we were able to easily access all of our favorite spots in the area. Good find!

I am almost hesitant to write this review as we feel it might be the best kept secret in Tarpon. We booked late during the spring break season and were not sure how it would turn out. Well it turned out to be amazing. Everything had that Florida feel that you are looking for on a trip and was clean and tidy. You would never know you are so close to the Sponge docks and ALT Highway 19 that takes you to Dunedin and Clearwater. It was like being on your own private lake. It was so nice to wake up, walk down to the dock and sip some coffee while watching the kids catch some fish. It was the perfect quiet spot to rest before heading out on a great day of sight seeing, beach going, or shopping. If you don't want to drive to some of the bigger beaches there is a great beach just a mile away. There was always some kind of wildlife flying over or jumping in the water to watch. Bill and Carol were so nice and offered tips on sight seeing, dolphins, manatee, etc.. We will definitely be back-we ran out of time and didn't even get to use the kayaks that they have available. Wish we were there right now. Thank you again for the memories and we will be back soon.

This rental is perfect in every way! You couldn't ask for a better location, the amenities in and around the apartment are top notch, the dock in the back yard is a peaceful oasis. Carol and Bill are gracious hosts and ensure that your stay is excellent. The apartment is up to date, extremely clean and fully stocked with everything you need, including beach towels and kayaks. The bed is very comfortable and there are plenty of towels and linens available. The location is excellent as it is close to the sponge docks, downtown and the beach is a short drive down the road. We absolutely love this area and this rental and look forward to renting again!

Carol is a gracious and accommodating host. Her apartment is up to date, beautifully appointed with special features that really put it over the top - like the private deck just outside the apartment's door and the wonderful dock with table, chairs and a really comfortable swing - perfect for a quiet read, sipping a cold beverage, visiting with a friend, or taking a nap. Be sure to visit the dock at night and see if Papa Snook makes an appearance. The kitchen has everything you need. She's thoughtfully provided some plastic storage containers and plastic wrap along with good knives, and good cookware. The bed is really comfortable, the dresser is ample and the closet is a walk in with plenty of hangers. She has extra blankets and even will offer beach towels for you. If you want to kayak, check the tide charts for the easiest use. Around high tide, you will be able to get in and out from the wall or dock. When the tide is less friendly, you'll need to take them in your car (which may or may not be feasible) to the beach or some other location to launch. We were quite busy during our visit, but I can really see enjoying this place as a quiet getaway. The deck and the dock provide outdoor space, the neighborhood has sidewalks for walking, and the apartment is well located - close to town, restaurants, and the sponge docks. Sunset Beach Park is down the road, an 8-minute drive or a nice 35-minute walk. Take some time and walk around Spring Bayou. Maybe you'll see a manatee or a dragon boat!! Enjoy yourself - we did!
