Charming, clean, cozy, comfy with all the conveniences you need. Haven and Mathew have done a good job making this your home from home. Decorated nicely with a touch of whimsical art and eclectic pieces. The retro kitchen is big and well appointed. We had a little problem with TV streaming but Haven was on the phone with Xfinity right away. We will be happy to got back.

Sweet 101 is a charming cottage in a nice Grass Valley neighborhood, next door to the hosts' house. Matt and Haven have made a lovely little home away from home, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Haven was out of town, but immediately responded to my text and let Matt know we had a question about the heating system. He came over quickly and helped us out. He was friendly and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need. Local coffee provided was very good, and the coffee maker is just so cool. The bed was comfortable. The bedroom closet provides convenient space for your suitcase and hanging clothes. Heating in bedroom and living room is controlled by remote units and made the house so cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with good quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, as well as a blow dryer. WiFi was easy-connect and reliable. The decorator touches in this little house are delightful. This little house is perfect for your stay in the foothills. It’s warm and inviting and the hosts are incredible. Sitting on the back porch having my coffee was a great start to the day.

The property was comfortable, well kept, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. It was charming and much more comfortable and spacious than any hotel room would have been. It was centrally located to many local attractions.

Property was absolutely beautiful, super easy check in and the hosts are so nice. My fiancé and I stayed for the weekend and it was perfect to have my step daughter over to visit and enjoy a movie together. Highly recommend this property and we definitely plan on staying the next time we are in town.

We stayed here to visit family for the weekend who lived a couple streets over. We enjoyed our stay in the cute bungalow / suite. Neighborhood was quiet, bed was comfortable! I saw the review previously about the AC. We did have trouble starting it up but once we read the directions in the binder provided for the stay it worked great. Bathroom sink was slow to drain but other than that our stay was amazing. We were mostly with family the whole weekend, basically only in suite to sleep so we didn’t test out the TV so can’t speak to that. We would definitely stay here again since it is so close to our family’s home and was cute and comfortable!

House was comfortable and clean Despite not allowing pets, my husband who has allergies to pet dander had a significant reaction within 1/2 hour of arriving so probably not a good fit for allergic folks. AC never really got cool. Maybe we weren’t using properly. Parking on the street. Didn’t have any problem.

We love Grass Valley Nevada City we came over from Reno to take a wildflower hike on the South Yuba River. We hiked Thursday morning enjoy the wild flowers and as we headed back to our truck I fell down and broke my arm. Are 7-hour visit to the hospital in Grass Valley was not as pleasurable as staying in the darling little 101 Sweet bungalow and part of the reason I haven't finished this review is that it's very difficult to type. We will return!

We were in town for a wedding, and this place was perfect. It’s cute, cozy and had everything we needed. Would love to come back in the future!

As an athlete with lots of food intolerances and sensitivities, I have to stay at a place with a kitchen when I travel. So usually hotels are a no go. I really liked their kitchen and found it well-equipped with pots, pans, a full stove, oven and microwave. The appliances are adorable and match the throwback character of the cottage. Bed was comfy which is important after good, hard race. And I appreciated the little bathroom supplies like shampoo, q-tips, and cotton swabs. This place is great for one person or a couple. You could do 3 people if you had a little one, I think. If you’re traveling in for one of the big races in nearby Auburn, note that it is a 30 minute drive from Grass Valley where the cottage is to the race expo area. But at the same time, Grass Valley is super cute and I wish I had more time to explore the area. Definitely would stay here again and appreciate the owners leaving a light on for me since I arrived after midnight my first night.

I was not traveling for vacationing - mostly for business and to visit family in the area. It was a great location for me being centrally located in town. Although I put 4 stars for accuracy of listing, this was not meant to be negative in any way. Actually, the kitchen was much cuter with teal appliances - refrigerator, microwave, & stove/oven (faux 50's style). A bit chilly. Not sure if the heating units weren't made for the size or I was just not adjusting the temp properly, but the owner is nearby and would have helped out with the set-up, if asked. I just wasn't around enough to take the time, so that's on me.

Loved the property. Everything I wanted was contained in that darling little house. Nice and close to downtown and the fairgrounds. Owners were very responsive to questions and super helpful on which restaurants to go visit and other things to do. Will visit again!

This was a perfect cottage for me and my significant other this past weekend. It’s quite picturesque with the all details such as the beautiful art, books, retro stove and refrigerator. It had more than we need for our stay. I would definitely book again.

Perfect for two, everything you need and not overblown decor! Great central location. Hosts are down to earth, locals committed to their community. We will return to see progress on other projects at the property next door.
