1. It's situated in a piazza so it's close to a lot of places, e.g. restaurants, cafés, shops, ATM. It's about 200-300 metres away from the Menaggio ferry terminal if you come by the ferry, so if you have minimal bags with you, should be walkable. 2. I enjoyed the living room and dining area, especially when the windows are open and you get to enjoy the cool breeze on a hot summer's day. A clock tower is nearby and would chime every half an hour, with a special tune every 7.30AM and 7.30PM. 3. Their kitchen is complete with plates, glasses, cups, cutleries, spices, tea, a coffee maker, even a pizza/bread cutter! We didn't cook but certainly made use of the plates and cups. 4. Like most Italian accommodation we've been to so far, they have a bidet in their bathroom as well, which we appreciate as Muslims. 5. There's a front-load washing machine and a drying rack. They have a heated towel rack but if you're there in the summer they don't turn it on because of the heat, so just use the normal drying rack and your clothes would dry up fast in the sun. 6. The building has a small elevator to take you up to the apartment. It helped us a lot with our bags.

1. We came in the summer and didn't realise there'd be no AC. A stand fan was provided, and it would be better if they could provide another one: one for the living room and one for the bedroom. We had to move the fan around, depending on where we were in the apartment. Luckily the fan is light, so was easy to move. 2. The bedsheet smelled a bit damp. We managed it by using the toto and blanket provided.

This property is perfectly located right at Piazza Garibaldi with many choices of restaurants and gelato shops and 6 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. It is sparkling clean with everything you would need and so very tastefully decorated. The family restaurant and patisserie (run by Nicole’s family) a few metres away are highly recommended. Fantastic food and service. The apartment is perfect for your visit to Menaggio and I would stay again in a heartbeat. I am already recommending it to family and friends.

The apartment was light and spacious. It was well situated. Close to the ferries and right in town. Lots of restaurants and shops to explore. Having a refrigerator, freezer, laundry, and a nice living space was comfortable and relaxing. Nicole was helpful and kind. The view of the bell tower was lovely. I highly recommend this apartment.

Terrific location, small unit but very comfortable.

There was no bench space and no microwave in the kitchen, there were no sharp knives, and no washing machine detergent.

The property is located in a great location, next to the plaza, which is also next to Nicole's restaurant(the food is delicious). It is also in short walking distance of the ferry that goes to all the local towns that you may want to visit. The self check-in and out is very easy, with the key being kept outside. The property was extremely clean and tidy, the mattress was very comfortable, and the bedding was very nice. There is cooking equipment provided and all cutlery. All of which is very kind. The property has good WiFi access and a TV , and you can connect your phone to YouTube if needed to entertain your children. Nicole is extremely helpful and answers any questions you may have as quickly as she can. She will also go the extra mile to help you. Out of kindness, she bought my daughter some bubbles to keep her entertained. Please try the restaurant, I recommend the prawn burger...it is delicious! You will leave feeling full and happy. The service is fast and efficient with it being a family restaurant. If I could order food to the UK, I would.

Not all the plug sockets in the apartment fit the european extension. With any languages, understanding of communication sometimes gets lost in translation. For example, I asked for a taxi from como to menaggio, and I wasn't told the cost, which ended up being €150 and we had no choice whether to pay this as a private taxi was organised for us by the host. We have no realistic bad things about this apartment as it is so nice!
