Lovely Cotswold holiday cottage within walking distance of restaurants/shops
Lavender Barn West est l'un des deux chalets adjacents. Les cottages sont construits à cet effet en pierre des Cotswolds. Ils sont bien meublés et confortables.
(Les deux gîtes peuvent être loués ensemble, pour héberger 8 personnes. La porte communicante est verrouillée sauf si les deux propriétés sont louées ensemble.)
Le chalet est très bien situé, à seulement quelques centaines de mètres du centre de Bourton sur l'eau. Bourton offre de nombreuses attractions touristiques, boutiques et restaurants. C'est une destination toute l'année et sa jolie rue haute avec la rivière et de nombreux ponts en pierre est connue comme la Venise des Cotswolds.
Le gîte dispose de 2 chambres pouvant accueillir 4 personnes. Une chambre a une salle de bain attenante, l'autre a une salle de douche attenante avec une grande douche 1500. (Les chambres ont des plafonds en pente à certains endroits.)
Le rez-de-chaussée est à aire ouverte, avec un coin cuisine bien équipé avec four électrique et plaques de cuisson, réfrigérateur-congélateur, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et sèche-linge. Coin salon, avec des sièges confortables et des portes-fenêtres donnant sur le patio. Il y a aussi un coin repas.
Dehors, il y a un jardin clos avec mobilier et parasol, ainsi qu'un parking pour deux voitures.
Draps, serviettes et torchons fournis.
Le gaz et l'électricité sont fournis dans votre prix de location.
Lit de voyage et chaise haute disponibles - AUCUN lit bébé fourni.
Plateau de bienvenue et fleurs fraîches à l'arrivée.

After nearly 4 weeks in hotel rooms this cottage was a very welcome change. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Friends came to join us from Cambridge & they were impressed with the cottage. It has absolutely everything you need & loved being such a short walk to the village. My 85 year old mum was thrilled with the tulips as we don’t grow them in North Island NZ!! We will be back, thank you :)

Wonderful spot to spend a holiday. This didn't affect us but if you are tall the bedrooms may be a little difficult to get around just as a heads up.

The only negative about location was views to car park and coop store was in back of house. It was noisy with ppl parking and using ATM at coop during the day and night and no 1/2 bathroom on 1st floor.

For 3 ladies, it was the perfect size and the location to town was ideal. It had everything we needed!

Great stay!
A friend and I were looking for a quiet get away to catch up after a long time. The cottage was perfect. Set back from the road it was quiet, but within a couple of minutes of all the town amenities. Everything was very well appointed and access to both a front and back courtyard meant we could sit outside anytime of day. Great base to explore from and also to relax in!

Great central location for visiting the Cotswolds
Nicely kept, comfortable property, with very clear communication from the owners. Note that the en-suite for double room is just a bath with no shower.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful cottage. The location couldn’t have been any better and was a very short walk in to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water.
The property was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners had put milk in the fridge & a packet of cookies which was a nice welcome touch.
We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in Bourton-on-the-Water and we will be looking to return in the future.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful cottage. The location couldn’t have been any better and was a very short walk in to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water.

This place was so much nicer than the photos. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 14 & 17), and we all loved it. If you had kids much older (and taller!) the single beds may be a bit small for them, and we had a double which was ok as we are not huge 😉…however it was perfect. A bathroom each, one with a shower and one with a bath.
Extremely clean and welcoming, there is a little sun trap at the back for when you fancy eating your breakfast outside in the sun and a lovely small seating area at the front for the afternoon and evening sun.
There are two parking spaces and a very useful Co-op behind the barn. It took us about 5 minutes to walk into the centre of the village which was ideal for coming and going as you please.
The only thing I would ask for is a small mirror by the front door downstairs - just to check that we don’t have biscuit crumbs around our mouths before we leave for the day 🍪 😁 but that is hardly a deal breaker!!
All in all, a perfect stay and we would love to come back and visit again soon. We shall also be recommending it to all our friends!

We stayed in the West cottage for a long weekend. It's in an ideal location to explore Bourton-on-the-water on foot, and to travel to other areas nearby. Parking on site was good, and the cottage itself was lovely with all we needed.

The property layout was very nice and just the right size for 3 adults. we were in a very good location, near to the shops, but also out of the hustle and bustle of tourists visiting Bourton. We enjoyed a walk to the beautiful Slaughters despite the horrendous weather. The people were very friendly and welcoming. Covid measures were in place in all places we visited. The location is absolutely brilliant, very close to the high street but set back so still very quiet.
