great service and location

the staff are amazing - super hardworking and really friendly food and drinks were great

ongoing noisy construction from a building site a few feet from my room for the duration of my stay I had chainsaws and loud banging happening most of the day 🥴 at just under 600 usd per night for the room I was not happy at all at least flag up to prospective clients the potential for noise beforehand and/ or offer a reduced rate I felt the hotel was seriously out of integrity in this regard - a terrible way to treat your guests the hotel admin are clearly aware of the building work - there are builders wandering up and down the beach throughout the day the only response I got from reception was - a) if you told us we would have asked the builders to stop - as in the whole site would simply cease to work because you ask them to ? really ? and b) come back and have a free night you’ve let yourselves down badly here folks take room # 4 out of commission until the construction work is finished or offer it at a significantly reduced rate and explain to potential clients the reason for the reduction

Wonderful location, facilities, and staff.

Only gripe is that the bed was quite hard.

Great Location within walking distance of main strip and right on beach.

Don't normally write reviews but in this case I have . . . as it wasn't very clear from booking that the hotel is actually part of a beach club and despite there being only 6 rooms when we went to use the sun loungers by the pool they were all reserved by non residents. Only after discussing with the manager were we offered a sun bed which should really be allowed to residents and a bottle of wine as an apology. I get the impression this is a common complaint - Apparently they are booked the day in advance which is a bit tricky when you are arriving at night. Seems the other guests all had the same issues. .. breakfast was good albeit very slow to arrive when only continental . . .around 30 mins each day. Staff were helpful but all running around looking busy without doing much! Think it needs to be managed better.

such a beautiful property, the pool and the beach and the location were perfect

as a guest of the hotel we were not able to reserve a sun bed a couple of the days, as they were full from people coming for the day. that was a bummer.

Beautiful little boutique hotel in a best location on the island, all the staff are amazing especially Alexander and Luiyi who couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended!

well first Alex was amazing and his staff were very accommodating. The room was very open and spacious and we came in to a bed full of rose petals. Truly the went above and beyond. He set up a beautiful sunset dinner for us at a local restaurant.

Our fault but we didn’t realize the restaurant (Guru) wasn’t open much after dark which caused us to go into town when we didn’t want to.

The location is amazing !! The upstairs suite was great, also with an incredible view. Best beach on the island and the hotel is right there. All the staff are incredible, helpful in every way, especially Alexander, who takes a great deal of pride in telling you about all the things the island has to offer. The breakfast and all the other meals and drinks were great and very reasonably priced. We stayed on the beach and in the beautiful pristine ocean water everyday. Perfect vacation.

This is not something we didn't like. We knew about these things before and therefore embraced them, but it's something guests should know beforehand. 1) The beach is public and therefore can get quite busy at times. We actually enjoyed this aspect as it added life and local flavor to the beach. 2) The hotel is attached to Guru Beach Club which plays music all day and gets quite lively in the afternoons with either a DJ or live bands. They usually stop around 7pm at the latest so it doesn't go on all night. Like I said, we embraced this and were able to get a beach bed far away from the music when we chose to do so.
