Apartment very clean, there was no dust anywhere. Cozy room and really very comfortable bed.

Everything about my stay.. The host was very friendly, invited me for a delicious dinner in his own home.. The view was very beautiful and peaceful plus everyone was very friendly and helpful.. The room was 10/10 clean and fully equipped with everything I could need with extra blankets..etc. For sure not my last visit

Great place to stay in Luxor. Was priced reasonably, the room was big, and the host is very accommodating by allowing me to check in early and helping me get a ride to the airport. Would stay here again.

I loved everything about the place.

Fantastic place, fully furnished, very comfortable cozy apartment - spotlessly clean. Roof top terrace with an excellent view of the Nile and Luxor Temple. Excellent location close to the ferries to Karnak and Luxor. But definitely the great highlight of the place is Yasir, kind, friendly and totally helpful manager.

My goto place whenever I stay in Luxor’s West Bank. Already my fifth visit in here and there will be many more. Also, the host Yasser is amazing and is the ultimate can-do-man. Anything you’re into he can organize, such as felucca, horse riding, going to the desert and the West Banks sights, etc, and he’ll make sure you get a fair price and a good deal. If you’ve ever had bad experience with Egypt, Yasser will make sure you’ll get a good one.

The brown house is clean, spacious with all the comforts of home, as we are not in a hotel we are free to eat when we wish, all we did was to make our wishes known and it was fulfilled, if going out a vehicle was provided, if you need a guide that also was in place, I would advise you take Yasser the owner with you to help with any transaction you make , you will need to for communication and when purchasing any goods.

Soooo much to see loads of temples the museum, valley of the kings is a must, you must try taking a boat out for a day have food and drink ride up the Nile, take a swim in the Nile and just float back sunbathe drink and think how great the world is. (Plan your next trip).

The room was huge, the kitchen had everything you will need a washing machine too. The property is right on the nile so you can take the public ferry for 5 pounds across the nile. Yassar hosted me and he was wonderful, he invited me to his home and showed real Egyptian hospitality by cooking for me free of charge and handing me drinks. If you have extra time go on a tour with yassar outside of the main sites to the desert its a unique exprience that 99% of tourists who visit Luxor will not see

Very welcoming owner with good English. His brother's wife is a nice lady too and she sometimes shows guests to their room. It was an easy and friendly check-in.

There was nothing I didn't like about this place, and the owner is a really good guy with a good heart. He will do his best to make you feel comfortable, thank you Yassur for the beautiful stay. One recommendation is to book a car beforehand from the airport. Yassur can message you before you come so this can be easily prepared.

Yasser was very quick to respond to my messages and even came to meet us at the ferry, which was really great because we arrived a bit late and it made everything really easy for us and enabled us to chat with him on the way. He knows everyone in the neighborhood and you feel like you are part of the crowd walking with him ! He also made sure we got food when we arrived. He also made us a barbecue one evening in his own house, and it was great to spend time with him and get to know his life story and a little more about Egyptian life. He is a very interesting and dynamic man ! The flat was absolutely great, it was the cleanest and most modern bathroom we had in Egypt, and it was amazing to have a whole appartement with a kitchen and a comfortable bed all to ourselves for a cheaper price than a hotel room. The private rooftop terrace is also absolutely amazing because you have on one side the nile and the luxor temple, and on the other the mountain of the valley of the kings with an amazing sunset. There are sunbeds for you to relax on and no one can really see you, it is magical. Also we went to the pool of the nearby El Gezira hotel for 25 pounds which was lovely.

the pillows on the bed were maybe a bit too big Not really a problem but just know there is no breakfast included, but you can get really good and cheep coffee and fallafel on the Main Street or buy stuff to eat in your kitchen or on the terrace :)

This is my second time staying here, and it was even better than the first time. Basically you don't need to worry about anything once you are staying at the Brown House, because Yasser can take care of every need that you have, show you around, drive you places, get you breakfast or any other food, help you plan your trip, everything you need to have a great time in Luxor. It's very very good to have an Egyptian friend with you if go places, otherwise people might try to scam you or hassle. Yasser is very careful that every single one of his guests has everything they need and that they have a great time while there. He gave everyone of us a nice statue as a present when we left. The apartment is very big and equiped with anything you need to stay as long as you want, and has a very terrace on the roof where you can chill. It's right on the bank of the Nile, great view of the Nile and also of the mountains behind. Thank you very much Arafat and Yasser for everything, hope to see you all well soon!

Everything is perfect, nothing to dislike!

Yasser and Arafat are just amazing hosts. To share a meal with Yasser was an incredible experience and it was so nice to have access to great information about the area. We were able to rent a bike for a few days and cruise around Luxor independently, which is exactly the way we like to travel. We also had access to the shops in the town to buy groceries and use the kitchen to eat meals in our apartment. The great hosts, chill area, and ability to be independent really made Luxor a great time. We could've easily stayed here for a few months.

Wifi was a problem sometimes, but it could have been bad luck on the days we were there.

I cannot recommend staying at The Brown House enough, the best Egyptian accommodation I've stayed in so far in terms of comfort and good honest people. The studio apartment is near new, very well designed, clean and equipped with spotless modern appliances which made it feel like home. Highlight for me was the super comfy spring bed and powerful shower, it was heaven after the amount of walking I did over my 6 night stay in Luxor. The hospitality at The Brown House was second to non! A massive thank you to Yasser who made me feel like part of the family and did all he can to help me with local advice and great insights into local culture. The guy even invited me to his home and cooked a delicious dinner for us <3 you won't find that level of care anywhere else. I was also invited to a small New Year's Eve family gathering where I met Yassers brother Arafat and other members of the family, really nice smart down to earth people. Thank you guys so much, it was a pleasure to meet you all and I look forward to staying with you again very soon!

Everything was great as usual, already my fourth visit here.

What can I say… the place is clean, the apartment is super nice, the location is amazing, it’s located at the Westbank right opposite to the Luxor temple, the place has it’s own balcony (I stayed in a studio), from where you can see the Valley of the Kings and watch the Nile at night. And to top this all, the owner Yasser is a super awesome person, who went over beyond to meet my needs. He invited me to his home for dinner, to come with him to his friends wedding, always made sure that no one charged me extra when he arranged transportation for me, and always made sure that I had everything I needed.

Very nice stay in a nice apartment, quiet with rooftop view on Luxor temple, Nile and mountain. House is fully furnished with AC. Great sunset and sunrise. Yasser has been an amazing host, helping us planing our trip, giving us tips and hands. For once, we felt safe and not harassed. He was fair and honest with no second thoughts or expectations. We definitely recommend.

We came in November and the room was hot. We would have appreciated a sheet and additional pillow.

Amazing location -- just 2-5 minutes from the ferries to East Bank, a lot of local cafes to eat around. Rooftop with nice views other West Bank and Nile & East Bank, nice place to admire sunrises and sunsets. Big rooms, nice roof in form of the dome. Cheap pricing. Our room was on 4rd floor, there is no elevator (for us this wasn't a problem).

Most of all intrusive service from staff -- they will ask you several times a day how is your stay and would you want to go to some excursions with them.

Best place to stay in all of Luxor and all of Egypt, very big apartment, equiped with everything you need. It's on the west bank so it is very peaceful and quiet. The house also has a terrace on the roof with view to the Nile. But the best thing about this apartment is the host Yasser, great great great guy, he took very good care of me, invited me to his house to eat with his family, took me on the Nile with the boat, to valley of the kings, hanged out with iim and his friends, and much more. Basically you don't need to go around looking for anything, because Yasser can take care of your every need and find anything you need or take you anywhere you need to go. This place is way better than any expensive or fancy hotel, if you think it's a scam because it is so cheap, don't worry it's not. To any people going to Luxor, go stay here, you won't regret it, I know I don't, and hopefully I will get to come again here, because Yasser is such a great guy, makes you feel like home. Thank you for everything Yasser my brother!

Arafat and his 2 Brothers Salach and Jassir give us the feeling to be a part of their familily - wonderful Hosts. Very nice appartemts 1 for couple 3 for familiys real big. All well keept or renovated with lots of love for Details. Big recomandation.

As above. The flat and facilities were fine,, comfortable beds, good kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers, tv if wanted. The view from the balcony was of the mountain leading to the Valley of the Kings, the upper terrace has a Nile view. It is a 4 minute walk to the ferries, felucca etc There are supermarkets, bakeries, veg and fruit shops and restaurants close by. Our host kindly showed us all these things. I would definitely book here again .

Initial communication could have been better but Brown house is a new enterprise and this will improve.... The corona virus and uncertainty of flights damped our spirits somewhat. Our host was superb, nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was wonderful. Mr.Arafat the host was very kind and helpful. The apartment was in the great location, near supermarket, ferry and restaurants. There was enough equipment in the apartment which is brand new. The bed was very comfy. He also arranged Taxi and guide service for us when needed.
