House was private and very comfortable, with great views. Anette was a great host and took care of even the littlest things. Overall location was good - 10 minutes to Cannes and beaches by car.

Very lovely and attentive owner and a really charming place. The owner was in touch with us as soon as we rented the place and was very flexible when we (twice) had to change our hours of arrival and departure. Anette was really helpful in sharing practical tips. You can tell they enjoy visitors and helping you get the best from your vacation. House is in a lovely spot with a beautiful view of the mountains/hillsides. Area is residential and not touristy at all. 5 min drive to shopping, and generally within 20-45 minutes of many of the places you might want to visit in the area ranging from beaches to hilltop villages and museums/exhibitions. We really loved the garden and patio where you can sit in the shade or sun as you please and enjoy the gorgeous view - usually with a soft breeze to cool you (nice in July, when we were there!). The host keeps a small patch of fresh herbs for your use, and we found the house extremely well stocked both in terms of facilities (Full kitchen, aircon, espresso machine, washer, dishwasher, microwave etc.) and towels, linen etc. for all of our needs. In other words: It was a real pleasure and we would definitely come back another time!

No pool (but no promise of one either - and there is a nice cold shower you can take outside anytime you need a refresher!). There are quite many mosquitoes, so bring/buy good quality repellant if you plan to sit in the garden in the evening (owner - of course :-) - also had some repellant left in the house for us to use, thanks!)

The owner kindly left lots of useful, good quality food items, even though it wasn't part of the contract. The ham and eggs and milk, were much appreciated, as well as the bottle of wine. She was most informative about the history of the house, and all the practical details. Very flexible and generous with her caring attitude.

The only drawback for us was the challenge of finding the property. Must enjoy driving around winding roads down to Cannes. We didn't think to ask in advance for very detailed directions and we did take some wrong turns to reach the property. Maybe a small street map would be helpful.

The location was fantastic with wonderful views of the mountains and sea views. The location was easily accessible and had a beautiful garden with plenty of seating areas where you could in the morning have your breakfast looking at the mountains or in the evening enjoy an aperitif on the lower terrace experiencing tranquillity.

There was absolutely nothing that my husband and I did not like. It exceeded our expectations and we shall certainly return again very soon.
