The downstairs restaurant was nice and the stay included plentifull breakfast. We found some water and fruits left for us in the fridge in the room. Good wi-fi connection. The room had European outlet plug switches, which was convenient since we forgot to bring one ourselves.

Unfortunately the room is completely unsuitable for a winter period stay. The windows and doors have gaps and the room was extreamly cold with constant draft. Even though there was an air heater it did not manage to warm up the room since it was not isolated at all. As I got a bit ill during the trip the cold and constant draft in the room worsened my health and we checked out one day earlier to change a hotel. Also due to lack of isolation it is not only cold but also extreamly noisy from the kids in the street and from the restaurant. As the entrance takes you through the stairs at the restaurant, there is someone always sitting at the table blocking the stairs, so you always need to bother restaurant guests asking to stand up and let you pass. Lastly, if you want to take a hot shower the water heater warms water to a boiling point. However, the pressure of hot water is so low that you either wash yourself with a very low flow of boiling water or take a cold shower, since cold water pressure overtakes hot and ends up being either boiling, either freezing shower (not possible to get simply a warm shower). At first looking at price and booking rating we thought it would be a good value for price but were very dissapointed.

The staff was super nice. Very friendly. We got a little coffee and juice while waiting for our room to be cleaned (we arrived earlier than check in).

It was a little noisy in the evening until 10 PM as the rooms are just above the restaurant.

This was our cheapest stay in Cyprus. We were staying in deluxe room. It is above the Iskemleci restaurant, with the only window to the inner staircase. Thus the restaurant music and service staff can be heard quite well in the room. But it did not bother us really. The restaurant is nice, we had the dinner there. The breakfast is also served in the restaurant. Classical Cyprus breakfast, only we'd prefer the breakfast a bit earlier. :D

The restaurant is really great,,highly recommendable. The ambiance on the lower floor and the garden is top, and the staff is very kind.

The room could use some renovation. Cleaning could be improved, too.

Comfortable bed, clean

Definitely to avoid if sensible to noise: it has 0 measure for soundproofing or noise isolation 1, the room is directly on top of a restaurant, whose kitchen’s ventilation system doesn’t stop until 11pm 2, the room is directly in front of a street that cars are driving through the whole night with full speed and, it has also no proper glass window (only a wooden sun-blind type of thing) If someone use to sleep in noisy condition, then there is nothing for the place, but if not it will definitely be a nightmare to remember for long… In addition: shower water is not hot enough and have 0 pressure and the so called King room has a bed of 1.5X2.0

Cool decor, very nice staff, comfortable, good location for those who want to explore North Nicosia, great breakfast variety, high quality ensuite

I like the bed in king room actually but its very noisy when u r moving i think they need too fixed it tightly and put a hair blower too dry the guest hair 😊

We loved the rustic setting and the cozy vibe. Great for couples. Also the garden out back is incredible!!!

The only downside is the location is just outside the border so having to cross everyday was a 31 minute drive to the other side. Which could be done with a 5 minute walk but then you are limited to travel. Such beautiful place tho

Great little guest house in amazing location.

- Location central, within a short walk from the centre.

- The primary focus of the business is the restaurant, and it has a few rooms attached. But everythig is driven by the restaurant - e.g. the breakfast is only served after the restaurant opens at 9am, and even then it's at least 20min wait, and the music stops in the evening only when the restaurant closes. - The room was very simple, small, and the bed only for short people. Windows opened onto the staircase down to the restaurant, meaning no access to fresh air (only the smell of the restaurant) and little daylight. - I'd suggest finding a property that has accommodation as its main business, here the staying guests unfortunately aren't a priority.

It’s walking distance to the old town and Ledra palace crossing. there was AC and small fridge in the room.

It was difficult to find and when I arrived there was a confusion with my booking, so I had to wait. i knew it’s a guest house over a restaurant but it’s really in the restaurant, so it’s really noisy. The window doesn’t go outside but to the staircase inside restaurant, so hard to get fresh air. the shower was not working properly.

Excellent location in the old town and a cosy stylish place. Spacious room with wooden floor and comfortable bed. Great breakfast on the terrace. A quiet and comfy place for travelers. Totally recommend! P S. the guest house has an interesting story of chair makers family Iskemleci (next door) handmade design, plans and pictures. Great vibes and atmosphere.

Was very bohemian and pretty and the cost was very low.

Shower was a nightmare water went everywhere, no staff available due to it being a Sunday and no breakfast available due to our 8am taxi as breakfast didn't start until 9. Very hot inside due to large glass windows but no air con in stairwell to cool it down. Bed was okay but only flavoured tea available in room, no coffee or creamer.

Location number 1,really good! Very friendly staff and we could have the room very early, which was great too! On Sundays, the restaurant is closed, so they offered us to prepare breakfast the night before, really helpful and tasty! Thanks to all!
