This place is way better in real life than the pictures! Theo and Fonneke are amazing hosts, they will give you recommendations that you MUST follow. Super friendly and kind. The breakfast is amazing, with fresh orange juice and an assortment of sweet and savoury ingredients. The place is very quiet so it’s amazing to rest and enjoy the calmness around. There are a very good bunch of great restaurants around that you definitely need to try. The room is great too with all the amenities needed, hairdryer, towels etc then you have a mini bar, a kettle and even a wine opener! You’ll find a few friends around, we were lucky to meet Luna a two week old donkey, and her parents. You’ll also be welcome by Luz, the kindest dog ever. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I wish I could have stayed longer!!

Fonneke and Theo were very welcoming and gave us many recommendations for the area. The room was nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. The pool area is lovely and has a beautiful view of the countryside. The breakfast was delicious and we met their 4-day old donkey ☺️ Overall a great stay and we’ll be back!

- Fonneke and Theo, the owners, are the nicest people in the world. They were amazing from the moment we arrived until we left. They also remembered my bday and sent me a message. - Luz, the dog, always present, always ready to play - The whole place is amazing, it was a really big surprise. The pool is great and so are the rooms. Really pretty decoration and everything is clean - Breakfast is great!!!

Everything! Lovely bedroom, perfect pool and sorroundings, exquisite breakfast and genuinely captivating hosts! A special remark for Luz that completes the perfecting hosting.

Location was both good and bad: absolute silence and total contention with nature, on one side, but a little bit far from restaurants or other amenities, on the other. Just a small price to pay for such an idilic place to stay.

The room is comfortable, spacious and is very pleasant. Fonneke and Theo are very kind and always available. The exterior is lovely and has many nice details. In this place we can enjoy the best of Alentejo in a modern and well designed setup. The breakfast is very welcoming and the best way to start the day!

If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing place it’s the best option in Alentejo. The swimming pool is great, the rooms are comfortable, every-morning breakfast is delicious. Very sympathetic owners, Fonneke and Theo, are so hospitable and with an excellent sense of humor. There are two cute and friendly donkeys - Telma and Louise. We loved our stay there. Five stars.
