The location and size of the flat was great

There was a powerful smell of damp, probably a plumbing issue. The fridge seemed to be set to freeze so fresh food was ruined. No instructions for TV or microwave which were complicated to use and the induction hob didn't work at all.

Great seafront location. Comfortable and modern interior.

It was in. a good location and the kitchen was well equipped.

The property was a good size. Parking was easy. It was quiet.

The TV has no Chanells.

Good value for the amount of space you get. Walking access to town centre. Ensuites for both rooms. Good open plan living dining area. Comfy beds with good form mattresses. Communication from owners was very efficient and non-invasive.

Place could benefit from a few more pictures on the walls. Lack of recycling was very strange to us coming from London and made us feel guilty about the environmental impact. Bar next door was very noisy on the last night (Sat) until v. late. I hadn't appreciated that there's no direct access to the beach at the end of the road (it's on top of a cliff) but in hindsight this is clear from the description.

Breakfast not included. Main issue cleanliness and fabric. No TV. No instructions for cooker. Mould and dirt in bathroom. Low light fitting which hit my head. Broken leg off chair. Screeching fan . Bulb out

Location was fine, taxis easily accessible.

The apartment was not very clean on arrival, even though it states a deep clean is completed before you arrive. Not enough adequate seating, with one chair already broken.

Couldn't get the hob to work, and no instructions. Shower in front bedroom would overflow due to plug/pipe not being cleaned at all, to which I wouldn't do it as its not my shower!

The place was absolutely gorgeous, very close to the beach as well, corner shops and restaurants too.

Lovely location! You can see the sea from the living room. A cute wee outside space to sit. Was very clean and at the same time homely. Only a 10 min walk from the Royal Harbour.

I live in a Victorian conversion so understand contact noise is unavoidable but upstairs were sometimes a bit heavy on their feet early in the morning (around 7am).

The information about the property on the website is slightly misleading - when it says opposite the sea I presumed that meant it looked out over the sea, perhaps I misread it but I don't believe it said it was a basement apartment around the corner from the sea and with no seaview. In the end it didn't really matter as we were out and about and it was so close to the sea which was great, but it was a little disappointing that I had expected a seaview and there wasn't one. Also the 10am checkout on a Sunday morning was rather early! Given that we couldn't check in until 3pm i wouldn't have thought it would take 5 hours to clean even in Covid times. A later checkout ie 11 perhaps would be even better.

Easy to find, lovely and clean, crisp clean linen and towels, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and efficient radiators.

Couldn’t open front door as it was stuck from being recently painted. No response for 2 hours from the mobile number given. Had to find somewhere to get out of the pouring rain, finally climbed in through an unlocked window until somebody came out. He was very apologetic and helpful and brought us a bottle of wine and sorted the door the following day. No iron or remote for the DVD player.
