La ubicación, en pleno centro histórico y con vistas al mar, la limpieza de la habitación y las instalaciones, el trato familiar de los anfitriones, la decoración, EL DESAYUNO, la privacidad... La anfitriona nos recibió como cuando llega algún familiar a casa, nos explicó todo con detalle y nos dio la llave de la habitación, que también abre la puerta principal, y ya puedes entrar y salir cuando quieras, es como si estuvieras en tu casa. La limpieza excelente, siguiendo todas las medidas de seguridad. La habitación, perfecta, muy bien aprovechado el espacio, los amenities están pensados para que no necesites llevas apenas nada (hay cepillo de dientes ecológico, pasta de dientes, bastoncillos, coletero, lima de uñas...) y un set de Rituals que me encantó. EL DESAYUNO es un capítulo aparte, te preparan al momento todo, casero, una tortilla de patatas, tostadas con tomate, embutido, frutas, zumo, croissant, café... buenísimo!! Sin duda, nuestro alojamiento preferido en Peñíscola, volveremos!

What a discovery. This is a little jewel of a hotel, and my wife and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere small, quiet, comfortable and beautifully managed by the relaxed and friendly owners - who did everything to make us at home. Cars are not allowed in this old part of the exquisite town ramparts, but we were able to park our motorcycle safely opposite and found the quiet location and short walk to the beach ideal. Plenty of choice to eat nearby. We will try and return one day.

The location was perfect and very clean. The hosts were extremely welcoming. The little touches made all the difference. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, just make sure you leave room for the homemade cake! This place is a very special!

The property is located in the old town just below the castle. It is a pedestrian area with narrow cobbled streets and no parking. It has fabulous views with steps leading down to the beach. Alicia is a lovely host who prepares the most amazing breakfast served on the outdoor terrace. Would love to return!

The room was small. It didn’t bother us as we spent little time there but may not be ideal if you were stuck indoors due to bad weather.

The service provided by the family was top notch. The home made breakfast was very delicious and fresh. The location of the hostel was perfect. The place is very spiritual. Only regret that we had that we did not book more time in that lovely place.

We were completely satisfied with the service. Nothing to add. Everything met our expectations. One thing we didn't like, we should've allow ourself more time in such wonderful place

Exceptional! We traveled Spain for 4 weeks and this place was absolutely amazing! The hosts go above and beyond in helping you out, they are lovely. The view was better than any in Spain. The bed was the most comfortable that we have had and the sheets were also top quality. The breakfast!!! The breakfast was fabulous!! We will be back!

Everything especially the breakfast. Alicia made us feel so welcome in her lovely accommodation and we loved everything from the quality linen spotless room, super tasty breakfast and the fruit that was available free throughout the day.

Oh my where do we start!!! Everything from the amazing decor, the owners were so hospitable and friendly to the stunning rooms, plus to die for views and an unbeatable breakfast!!! Best in all of Europe!!! You must book it hands down.

The family run hostal (Alicia, Augustine and Isabella) are incredible hosts! The care for their business and client visitors is immediately noticeable. The facility is a little gem with attention to detail and comfort rivaling most facilities we have experienced across the cost spectrum. The breakfast made one feel like a special "family" guest.

We could not identify anything they could have provided or attempted to make our stay any more charming or comfortable...

Excellent breakfast. Owners very amenable and helpful in every way. Location and accommodation could not have been better. A superb renovation of an older style building leaving traditional features.

it’s located in the old Castle so if you can’t walk a lot it can be hard to reach. so your mobility is critical with this - location.

Everything! Alicia and her family are charming and helpful, the location is superb, the rooms are immaculate with comfy beds, towels for the beach and the shower, and if you get the suite you also get a fabulous outdoor bath! we also had safe parking for our motorbikes directly opposite. And the best breakfast so far in Spain.

Outstanding hospitality, beautiful and convenient location, amazing and plentiful breakfast. Free parking was arranged for us only 100m away. Alicia and her husband could not do enough for us. 11 out of 10 if it were possible.

We didn't stay long enough

Every thing. I booked the Hostal as a surprise for my wife’s birthday. She had no idea where we were going, and when we arrived in Peniscola she did not then know where we were staying. On closing the door to our room she burst into tears - she could believe how beautiful the Hostal was, or how fabulous the location within the castle walls was. Alicia, our Hostal owner was wonderful lady who made us feel completely at ease.
