"Lazy Waves" est une maison fabuleuse sur deux niveaux offrant un espace de vie sur deux niveaux pour les parents et les enfants d'avoir leurs propres lieux de rencontre!
Le niveau supérieur comprend une cuisine ouverte sur un spacieux pont supérieur. Le pont a une table à manger pour six personnes ainsi que des sièges supplémentaires et un gril à gaz Weber pour les barbecues après la plage! Un escalier mène à un patio et à une grande cour privée clôturée qui est flanquée d’un énorme arbre où les enfants peuvent jouer sur la balançoire! Le chantier est spacieux et idéal pour les tournois familiaux de whiffle ball, un jeu de croquet ou KAN-JAM! Il y a un patio à l'arrière pour se détendre à l'extérieur avec un livre après une belle journée à la plage!
"Lazy Waves" dispose de 4 chambres spacieuses. 3 chambres à l'étage supérieur (2 reines, 1 avec 2 lits jumeaux et 2 lits), 1 chambre Queen à l'étage inférieur ainsi qu'un lit double. Il y a un grand bain familial à l'étage principal qui a été récemment rénové avec douche et baignoire; le maître a une salle d'eau et des toilettes. Le niveau inférieur a une salle de bain qui comprend une douche. *** Nouvellement installé à l'automne 2018, c'est une douche extérieure chaude / froide! Nous sommes ravis de cette mise à jour car elle offre un autre équipement à apprécier après de longues journées à la plage ... également une climatisation centrale nouvellement installée pour le salon principal!

Une belle promenade côtière à la célèbre promenade de falaise et les manoirs. Aussi, un tour rapide ou 6 $. 00 UBER au centre-ville de Newport, Polo, les vignobles et tout ce que l'île Aquidneck a à offrir!

A couple and three singles stayed here for a sailing regatta in Newport. Great spot very close to Newport in Middletown. Quiet neighborhood. Nice large house with four bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen. Great host.

We had a wonderful stay! We were so close to downtown Newport, which was ideal as we were working a wedding that weekend. There was ample parking, the A/C was perfect, the back deck was lovey to spend time and there were plenty of towels! The house every very clean and well decorated! It felt very homey! I would come and stay again!

This was a great house with lots of space and bedrooms. The location was ideal for us attending a graduation at St George's school, a very close walk. Equally close is the center of Middletown and Second Beach. The owners were responsive, flexible, and accommodating. The house has a lovely deck and backyard. I would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We were staying here for a friends wedding and unfortunately the A/C did not work all weekend which made it extremely difficult to sleep. The hosts live abroad and the property manager was unresponsive. Understanding the host was saying they were trying to get someone in to fix it, if the property manager would have been responsive we would have understood the delay, and suggested they bring in some additional fans to help.

We’ve just returned from a terrific stay at Kate’s property in Newport. The house was spotless and so comfortable. Perfect for our group of 4 adults, 4 children. Kate was extremely hospitable and responsive. The location was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be back!

The house was comfortable for two families each with 2 adults & 1 elementary age kid. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Proximity to many great dining options on Aquidneck, and the short drive to Second Beach made every early evening an absolute blast for the kids. There is nothing pretentious about this house - it is comfortable, clean, casual living, exactly what is needed for a family beach vacay. Great communication from property owner - thanks for a great stay.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this house in Middletown while we were in town for a wedding in Newport. The house was super clean and had many helpful amenities that made our stay a breeze. There are a handful of great restaurants within walking distance and downtown Newport is a very short drive away. We would all happily stay here again.

Nice and convenient
We weren't there long enough! But long enough to be thankful for a place that was clean and convenient.... and easy to get to. I hope we can go back some day.
We had a time trying to get the indoor temperature just right for the whole house. So, we could have used more floor fans.

Great beach house, great location, awesome back yard
We had two families with 5 kids under 6 and the house was great. The backyard was perfect for the kids to run around and play. It’s a nice short walk to downtown Middletown. It’s a very easy drive to Second beach as well as to downtown Newport. The upstairs bedrooms were good size and the house was equipped with pretty much everything you needed including a pantry that had a bunch of extra things. The basement tv room is nice and finished but the bedroom in the basement is just off the unfinished laundry room so it’s a little odd place for anyone having to stay down there

Good stay
Great location, very close to 2nd beach and restaurants. It’s a small split level, so the main living room and a guest room are in the basement which some may find musty. The house could be better stocked, but thats an easy fix. The owner was really nice and communicative. The AC was a bit wonky, but other than those things, we had a great stay! It’s a quiet street and felt very safe. Good for a small family. Kids had a lot of fun.

Wonderful Stay in Middletown!
Our group had an amazing time in Newport East. The home was clean, a 10 minute walk to the beach, a short Uber into Newport, great outdoor space and plenty of space for 6 adults.

Perfect Little Beach House
We loved this little house. It is a great space and we especially loved the decor. We had 3 adults, 3 teens and one older child. The home provides plenty of space for together and alone time. Our teens can sneak away on devices, watch movies or play games separately from the adults. There is backyard space and deck that gives everyone space to convene. We played games on the kitchen table each night. The home is filled with everything you will need to enjoy a beach vacation. It is walking distance to places to eat and first beach. First beach is not the best but we did do second beach which is driving distance from the house and then beaches in Narragansett. Second beach required a season pass which didn't seem worth it for one or two days. The residential area is mixed with some new homes and some very old ones. The owners of this place did a great job with the renovation. 2 out of the 3 bathrooms are new. The outdoor shower is also lovely. It was also very clean. If you like a good brisk and long morning walk, you can go to Second beach or to the Cliff Walk. We would definitely come back.

Great Rental
Kate was very attentive. The house was very clean & lots of attention to detail shows how tuned in and involved she is. Although it says walking distance to beach we decided to (and were able to) drive & park @ 1st beach for the daily parking fee of $15. We’re all day beach people, so walking would have been a bit much with coolers, chairs, umbrella’s, etc. The central a/c on main level and outdoor shower is what “sold” us compared to other rentals in the area. Great house, and will keep it in mind for future trips to RI!

The property owner was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions or requests. This property was located in a great neighborhood and travel was quick and easy to the Navy base where we were attending an OCS Graduation.

Beautiful home! Worked great for 6 adults and a toddler to stay comfortably for a wedding weekend! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the beautiful backyard and beaches!

Perfect house, perfect location.
We were in town for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay here. Not only was it a short walk and/orUber from the beach, but it was super quick and easy to get to downtown Newport (~$6 ubers). Much closer to town than it seems. And as a plus, it's smack in between the two best lobster places in Newport. It was super spacious for 6 adults, had AC, comfortable beds, nice showers (indoor and out) and had everything you could need - especially beach towels. Would definitely recommend this house for your Newport stay!

Excellent home
We stayed here for a wedding in Newport and absolutely loved this place! I think it was better than described. It was perfect for 2 couples, and it could have held more. We also had a small child and it works well with children. Location was excellent, a very short ride to Newport and walking distance to the beach and other good food options. No complaints at all.

Excellent location, only a five minute drive to downtown Newport. House is beautifully appointed and quite comfortable. We were not there at a time to enjoy the spacious back yard, but it definitely would be a plus to those there in warmer weather. Plenty of room to spread out, convenience of washer and dryer. Most importantly, the owner is extremely responsive to any questions or issues (of which we had none). Highly recommend you stay here.

Great long weekend in Newport
We booked this home last minute due to a unexpected switch in plans - thanks to Hurricane Irma. Kate was a pleasure to deal with and booking the house through her (via Home Away) was seamless. The house is newly updated and beautifully appointed with all the amenities one would need for a getaway. The beds were all very comfortable, which is always a plus! The home is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Newport and we were happy to be away from the hustle and bustle. We were so grateful to be able to celebrate a BIG-birthday weekend in this lovely home. Thank you!
