Federica was a wonderdful hostess greeted us on arrival. She provided a taxi service to pick us up from the Ferry and to deliver us to the ferry when we departed. She was very welcoming and warm. The place is indeed a jewel. Stone throw away from the city center without the hustle and bustle. Scooter rentals down the hill, which I recommend experiencing the island with. Federica was gracious enough to help us make reservations to local restaurants every night, and suggested contacts for boat tours that would have been hard to do without personal connections. That made our stay extra special. Awaiting a return soon! Thank you Federica!

The host was very friendly and always reachable. She arranged for us a taxi pick-up and drop-off from our ferry. It was close to the town. The view and the garden were wonderful. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was new and well equipped. Although, there was no microwave.

That it was on a busy but very narrow road without any sidewalks, so a little tricky with small children. Although, the house itself is far enough away from the road, so we didn't get disturbed by any traffic noise at night. A missing microwave which we need a lot when travelling with the family.

Federica sent her driver to collect us from the ferry which gave the trip an excellent start. She was then so attentive to ensure we had a great trip. Full of ideas and recommendations. Villa itself has lovely views and well decorated. We also loved Capri. Property is a short walk to town and a bit further to piccolo marina where you can swim. Best to take a bus to Anacapri as much of walk is along the road.

It is on a road with traffic which means you have to be cautious entering and exiting.

wonderful location. clean and modern. the kitchen is well equipped. air conditioning in all rooms. the host provided the best service ever: helped with transfers, suggested restaurants and was always “on duty”.

What a great place to be. We really enjoyed our stay. Not only was the apartment a great place but also our host did a fantastic service recommending Restaurants, pick ups, boat trips and sight seeing routes. The help and service could easily be compare to a luxury 5 stars hotel in new York. All in all, we had a great stay and would love to come back again. This was definitely one of the best travel experiences in the last 10 years.

a bigger carpet in the living room would be nice.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place was so perfect that I felt compelled to write one… The location was perfect! The villa was large, very comfortable, and stocked with everything that we could have needed during our stay. It was spotlessly clean and had 3 outdoor areas to relax, all with amazing views. Each morning we picked lemons and kiwis from the trees in the yard and sat on the front patio enjoying the views, lemon/kiwi waters, and espresso from their espresso machine. Tough to beat!! The best part of the stay was the host, Federica. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay in Capri was absolutely perfect! She organized taxis to pick us up and drop us off from the ferry, as well as reservations at wonderful restaurants. She was even able to get us reservations at Da Paolina, when the restaurant was telling us that they were completely full! I run a short term rental business myself, with over 40 properties, and I was blown away with the service that she provided. 10 of 10, I would recommend this villa to anyone that’s looking to have a great stay in Capri!!!

Nothing at all!

Everything!! The house is beautiful, with spectacular views. There is a ton of outdoor space. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. Host was kind enough to supply water, snacks, etc. Location is fantastic. You’re 5-10 min walk away from the center of Capri, which is so convenient. Yet, you’re far enough for privacy and quiet. Federica was the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She made everything so easy and enjoyable. If you’re thinking about booking, honestly don’t hesitate! It was even better than the pictures. One of my fave vacations.

Great location with superb view. Host terrific! The breakfast satisfies any needs:coffee, the, milk, yogurt. We spent a fantastic weekend and La Gioella is part of it! 10 min walk from Piazzetta.

One room with French bed size.

Beautiful house perfectly located 5 min walk from Capri piazetta. Incredible view on the ocean and Capri. Beautiful outdoor garden and terrasse. The Host has been wonderful giving us many many very good recommendations. And last but not least its incredibly good value for money! I would rate it 20 if Booking.com would allow it! Run there for the most amazing stay on the best island in the world!

I wish we would have stayed 10 more days!

Amazing house with very large garden, nice views, fully equipped, nice breakfast and perfectly located to reach all spots of Capri island. Walking distance to Capri city centre and funicular to reach the port. Owner very helpful with tips, easy communication via What's up.

There is occasionally a bit of noise from traffic but especially extra care needs to be used when walking to the house gate. The road is narrow, busy with traffic and it has no sidewalk for about 200 meters.

The villa was nice, located just on the road to the Capri town, 10 minutes walking, good supermarket nearby. The villa has a beautiful outdoor area for breakfast/diner and relax with a view

The house suit for many people and have a full facilities that make your vacation in Capri memorable The owner is very nice and try to help us all we need. The sea view of the house is fantastic

-The air condition in the big bedroom isn’t work at all during our stay and its winter so we feel like sleep outside the house. -the house quite dirty -the showers in both bathroom are broken.
