Quelle façon de passer des vacances sur les rails dans votre propre Caboose. Elle est belle depuis qu'elle a été entièrement refaite pour mettre le visiteur à l'aise. La chambre est à l'arrière du Caboose qui a un lit double, je pourrais ajouter. Il y a une salle de bain complète qui a une douche à l'italienne. .La cuisine est entièrement équipée. mais si vous souhaitez faire des grillades tout en profitant du magnifique parc, il est là pour vous aussi. Vous êtes à 90 pieds du lac Independence qui ravira votre envie de pêcher ou simplement de jouer dans sa belle eau intérieure chaude. IL Y AURA UN CANOE ET UN KAYAK À VOTRE DISPOSITION, MES COMPLIMENTS. Vous apprécierez la climatisation, Internet et Direct T. V. Il y a un foyer pour votre plaisir. Nous avons un magnifique ciel noir afin que vous puissiez être ravis par tous les BRIGHTstars.

My husband, our dog and I spent 2 nights at this wonderful spot! The caboose had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were great and very responsive.

We fished every day so didn’t spend alot of time in the caboose. However, it was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. We enjoyed it very much.

Loved the setting! So unique! The hosts were very accommodating. Caboose had all the amenities, but the internet tended to be unpredictable at times. Great weather while we were there.

Staying in the caboose on Lake Independence was a very unique and fun experience. The cabin is small, but cozy and comfortable, and you can’t beat the grounds and the view. Gina and Paul a delight - always available, never intrusive, ever generous. We would definitely come back.

We had a short stay (just two nights) so didn't have a lot of time to enjoy Independence Lake but it looked fun for kayaking and just floating around. Our hosts were so friendly and greeted us when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed. We hiked around Sugarloaf Mountain, and visited the beach on Lake Superior which was awesome. Overall very cozy and beautiful location if water and woods are your thing. Close enough to Marquette to enjoy that area too. Eat at Crams cafe before heading home, it was delicious!

It was the best. It was quite, peaceful, relaxing cheerful. Gina and Paul are very nice abd helpful. I would recommend this property to others. We enjoyed it that much.

We had an enjoyable stay. The caboose has everything necessary in it and outside. Gina and Paul are very nice and responsive hosts. Gina's gorgeous garden is the best place ever to have your morning coffee! The area is full of natural wonders, and you will rarely see other people on your hiking trail. We are definitely coming back!

Had a very nice stay at this property. The caboose is charming and fun to be in. The grounds, beautiful garden and lake made for a quiet and relaxing vacation! The hosts, Gina and Paul are wonderful people and sure to make sure you have everything you need!

Perfect weekend getaway
The caboose was perfect for our anniversary getaway weekend. The property owners are friendly and welcoming. The lake is beautiful and we had use of a canoe and kayaks. There was also a grill and fire pit available. Upon check in we were given a sheet with places to go visit including waterfalls and a beach. Gina and Paul are great people, we will definitely be making a return trip.

The caboose was very comfortable and the hosts were very inviting. However the lake was the best surprise. The clean sandy bottom extended 30-60 feet off shore and hardly got deeper then 3'. The center of the lake does get deeper but along the shore was perfect for kayaking or canoeing.

Very nice and charming experience!! The Host was very nice and the train car sits on their land with lake access on independence Lake. Quite area, comfortable bed and even have internet and cable. Would stay here again. Organized, did not need to call them for anything as we had more than what we needed. Thank you Gina!

Had a nice time away at the caboose with my dog. The caboose is fine for 1 to 2 people and has everything that you would need for your stay. The property is clean and well maintained. The owners are nice and accommodating. The only thing to be aware of is that the caboose is right in their backyard so there isn’t much for complete privacy. So if you’re looking for privacy and to not be around a lot of other people probably not the best place. Other than that it’s a beautiful location and I enjoyed my stay.

Gina and Paul are truly amazing hosts. VERY hospitable! The Caboose sits on their property, so they aren’t far but give you all the space you need. It had everything we needed and very clean. The view of the lake is amazing- they provide a canoe and kayaks. There are trails for hiking, but be prepared to drive. Nice and clean beach nearby the property! Overall, it was a very relaxing week.
