I liked the special feeling of the hotel. Staff was very relaxed and polite.

Parking is problematic

That you had to pay for Valet parking. The parking lot was literally steps away.

I thought the check-in process was fairly easy, they certainly were able to grant me some of my request especially a quiet part on a upper floor.

Paying $39 for valet when all they did is leave my car outside within 20 steps of the front doors absolutely unacceptable! There was no other options in the room but some worthless coffee no tea options. And if you're going to provide plastic bags for the ice make sure they're large enough to go completely over the aluminum or steel ice bucket!! They did not fit and were way too small You had to physically take just the bag down to the ice machine otherwise it would fall all the way down to the bottom and eliminate any of the sanitary effects of using one. And also ridiculous trying to charge $25 to stay an extra hour. I needed a 1:00 check out but they're only providing 12:00 noon and then trying to charge me another 25 and then if I needed to leave my car it was an additional valet day charge. Treat your guest a little bit better than that, you're supposed to be better than that!

bad pillow, not very clean - hair in bathroom on floor and sink and found a hair barrette and some trash on the floor. phone was covered in dust and dirty.

Only valet parking. Limited things to do near or in the hotel, especially traveling with a child. Lots of food options near by.

Close proximity to downtown restaurants and bars. Within walking distance to Thompson-Boling Arena and Neyland Stadium.

Room too small for a “Premier King” room. We also got extremely hot throughout the night even with the thermostat set on 63 degrees. Also, the shower head could be upgraded as well.

It was very convenient to have breakfast in the lobby. It was made to order, i.e. no buffet type setup. So it took a minute to get your food.

There was only one small trash can which was in the bathroom. I like to clean up after myself when I check out. However I had to put some trash, to-go boxes, etc on the bathroom counter because there was no room to put it elsewhere. Also, there was no anti-slip mat in the shower which was abit slippery.
