The property was in a great location. The only issue we had were the amount of supplies ( ie towels, face clothes, pillows) for ten people. There also were no kitchen towels which we ended up buying along with additional pillows which we left behind. Other than that it was a relaxing stay.

Visited Marco for wedding at Marco Beach Ocean Resort. Could walk there in 5 minutes. Very good. Pool was great, with flowing hot tub, lots of lounges, chairs, table, grill. 5 bedrooms, 2 completely private in guest house, each with their own bath. Overall, great place. A couple things that could be improved on: 1. No internet, but I think this is because of Ian. 2. Master bath shower just kind of dribbles. 3. Master bed should have sheets that fit. 4. Kitchen cupboards are disintegrating, but functional. 5. Take your own ice cube trays, or no way to have ice. These little things are meant to help make the place even better, but would recommend it strongly. Had a great week!

In general the house was a plus

Its a very comfortable house and was very enjoyable. There was everything we need that was in the house. The pool was very fun and enjoyable, especially for the kids. Walking to the beach doesn't take that long.

Property was fantastic. Had everything we needed. Very clean. Great setup. All the extras for beach, other outside activities in garage. They had plenty of beach towels and other linens. Be sure to check the binder with trash/recycling bin info and pickup days. The property owners/rental property managers are working to upgrade the internet and add more TVs. Just a phenomenal location within walking distance of one public beach access, restaurants and some nice shops. We loved it! The best part for me it was most affordable which I appreciate from the heart...my family had a very nice time. Thanks to the property owners and Clausen property management 😀

Great location. A lot of space. Kids loved the pool. The rest left a lot to be desired. Shower broken in ADU. (They fixed after the weekend) Water heater leaked in closet all over. (Not fixed as we left) Very minimal towels for use. Interactions with Clausen staff was hit or miss, at moments helpful and at others rude and short with us. Additionally they are building another house next door, concrete saw running for 3 days, dusting floating over the pool area on and off during that time. Currently foundation work is done but now framing begins. I wish the best to the next renters for the next couple of months. Additionally another property in the back yard is also being prepped for building…constant pounding for some reason, during several days. Maybe pilings for foundation work? Would I stay there again. Possibly, due to its location and size…but with a lot lower of expectations on service and amenities. Maybe they know your coming for the first two so they can provide less of the other two?

Great location, the house is close to lots of restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. We didn’t use our rental car very much at all.

Place was as advertised, and near everything. We enjoyed Marco and being somewhere warm on NYD.

I called them to tell them about many missing and not working items. The sliding doors do not lock in main house BUT we were told to leave the pool door unlocked for maintenance. This is a safety concern. They told me they would call me the next day. Well the 9 day stay I never heard back from them. Overall an amazing property.

Need to update TV, needs TV in master.. Pots and pans need updating…very low cost upgrades..

This is a great house especially if there are multiple families vacationing together. The rooms and pool house are all spaced out so everyone has their own bit of privacy. The covered heated pool and hot tub were wonderful and kept the kids both big and small entertained. There are a lot of extras items for the beach, pool and outside activities. For little ones there was a high chair, pack & play & a stroller to use which was great to have. It was only a very short walk to the public entrance for the beach and many restaurants which was very convenient. I would recommend this house to others and would go back in the future.

Our family was in Marco for a beach wedding. We had an amazing time at this house, we were able to accommodate a few extra family members the night of the wedding, and then for the rest of the week we were spread out and able to relax both inside and out in the great lanai covered pool area. A short walk to the public beach as well as plenty of things to do in walking distance made our family able to pick and choose whatever we wanted to do each day. Overall we all agreed we would love to return to this property and enjoy Marco Island together again soon!!

Very good fit for larger group and I love the proximity to beach, shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home. The rooms were nice, the kitchen/living room was comfortable. The pool/deck area was AH-mazing = we had many dinners and games out there including a glowstick dance in the dark = too much fun! The walk to beach was not too bad at all. There were not many beach chairs (for adult bums) and we had to purchase some (5) which we had to leave so ... your welcome next guests! The beach cart was a lifesaver, although had an opened bag of shrimp left in the pouch - smelled horrible but thankfully we found it on the first outing. This was a great vacation home and we enjoyed out visit!

We enjoyed the house and all of its room, very nice pool area and deck. Great location. It would be nice to update linens, pillows. Good stay overall...

Clausen properties were great people to work with. pool guy never came, but didn’t get to swim like we wanted. Busy with a wedding.

The property was absolutely perfect!! It was a block from the beach access and had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation. The private pool area was beautiful with outdoor seating. The location was in the center of everything. It was close to shops and restaurants. The sunsets on the gulf were amazing. The property was exactly as listed. We will definitely book this house again!

This is a great property for families with kids! The guest house was perfect for the people to stay without kids, although there's no TVs, and those of us with kids stayed in the main house. The pool was perfect. Our little kids loved the sun shelf as well as the adults! The pool deck could definitely use a bigger table so we could all eat outside, but there is a lot of room gir the kids to play. The bedrooms were adequate. The 2 guestrooms in the main house have very hard mattresses. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and it has a great flow. The house is also located near the beach and shops so that was great. But no beach cart so be prepared to carry all your stuff! It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!

Thanks for having us! We absolutely loved our stay. We had 5 adults and 5 kids stay for the week. The pool was certainly the highlight of the week for the kids. The location was perfect. A pretty quick walk to the beach and a very quick walk to restaurants, mini golf, shops and theater nearby. The guest house was perfect for our large group and the house was clean and organized and there were plenty of beach and pool toys (although a lot were pretty worn and/or broken but we made due!). The beach umbrellas were so helpful to have on this perfectly sunny week! Also the outdoor shower was great! We were told there was not a second pack n play/crib in the house... there is. The highchair was a nice surprise. A few suggestions: - We REALLY wish there was more table seating outside. We love eating our meals outdoors but there is only an old set of table and chairs for 4 by the pool. An upgrade to a 6-8 person patio table would really be helpful. - A new plastic drying rack by the pool would be great. The wooden one kept snagging our clothes. - Metal baking sheets (there's none) and more forks, spoons, and bowls for the kitchen. With 10 people we had enough silverware for 1 meal. And there are not 10 bowls so we did not have enough for everyone even for 1 meal. - The internet turned off our second to last day and never turned back on. I'm sure we could have called to get someone out to fix it but we didn't want to have to wait at the house for someone to arrive. - A beach cart would have been SO SO SO helpful to have at the house for our walks to the beach with 5 kids. - A soft mattress pad for both guest beds (in the main house) would make a huge difference! The mattress in the guest room in the main house (on the left - in the front of the house) was so hard we had to switch rooms and have the kids sleep on the floor in that room. - The porch light is out as well as a few other lights around ether property. We had so much fun though this week and spent hours and hours in the pool! It is a great property for families and a perfect location. We will certainly be back! Thanks again!

The location, the home, the pool, all were fantastic! Would suggest replacing bed sheets—worn and the sliding glass door in kitchen needs rollers replaced—very hard to open. The inside glass in oven door was broken but we didn’t use the oven anyway so no bother. ABSOLUTELY everything else was perfect! Will definitely stay here again. So happy that we booked this house for our family gathering.

Fantastic home! Fantastic pool! Fantastic location! Fantastic beach!

While the wedding party all stayed at the overpriced Marriott, we lucked out with this beaut! My 4 children, some with spouses, were arriving at various times over the weekend and were each very happily surprised they all got their own bedrooms and most got their own bathrooms! The house was a home-away-from-home for us, allowing us to gather each night and plenty of room to spread out. Pool and hot tub were terrific and cleanliness seems a priority to the management team. Beds were comfortable, kitchen seemed to have everything we needed. As a whole foods/plant based eater, it is important for me to be able to cook for myself. Restaurants were plentiful on Marco Island, but healthy offerings were scarce. We loved the walking distance to the beach, Marriott, some shops, movie theater, and morning coffee. Directions said we needed to supply our own dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and fabric softener- had I known this ahead, I would have brought a few from home. Instead, buying full-sized was a bit cumbersome. Please note, there were starter soap bars, but no starter shampoo or conditioner- so an early trip to the store was necessary. My only discomfort with this house was the blankets- while the bed linens were very comfortable, the blankets need an upgrade. Many of the towels, dish towels, beach towels, lawn furniture were stained (but clean) and some getting a little ratty. An inventory is probably in order. The ice maker wasn't working upon arrival and unfortunately wasn't repaired during our week stay, so you may want to check to see if that has been rectified. Remember, it's HOT in FL, so iced drinks are likely on your list! We very much enjoyed our visit and would, in a heartbeat, return to this house. As a matter of fact, if it ever comes up for sale, I would be all over it!!

Fantastic property close to great beaches and dining choices. House was perfect for our large family gathering. Marco Island is wonderful, and this was a great place to experience all that Marco has to offer.

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.

Well maintained, clean, quite, plenty of room for 6 chicks from Minnesota. Also good response when needed from the management company. Enjoyed ourselves, we would definitely stay there again. We loved it!!

For a family or group of friends this place is perfect. We brought our three children, their Aunt and our grand daughter and all were comfortable. We liked the shallow end of the pool for the grand daughter to play. Not far from the beach or a number of things to do. Plenty of family space to get together and enough space to get away. I would recommend this place to and large group. We walked to the beach easily. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay there again. Coming back to the cold in Minnesota I am wondering why we left.
