We had a lovely time at the White House. It was a beautiful home, breakfast was fantastic and the owners were very kind to my family.

One of the best B&Bs I stayed in a long time. Beautifully and lovingly decorated, with tradition and modernity meeting in harmony. Amazing dining room and breakfast with outstanding choice, quality and quantity. The room was spacious and comfortable and quiet; a perfect night's sleep. Cindy was super helpful and hospitable, I am delighted to have found this and cannot recommend high enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Newnham White House. Although the original need was simply a bed for a couple of nights in order to attend an event, our time at the hotel became a real highlight of the trip. Cindy is so welcoming and kind that it made the stay a total joy. She offers comfortable, spotless accommodation, a guest lounge, outdoor seating in her beautiful garden, a generous, tasty breakfast and tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit in the room. We were also treated to coffee on arrival and scones on the patio. Cindy's attention to detail in the bedroom /bathroom is impeccable and we had everything we could have needed. There is plenty of parking and the property is easy to find. Cindy has a true gift of hospitality and we had a delightful visit.

We absolutely loved this chance find of this nice B&B. The host Cindy is lovely and very helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable, and we also have access to a lovely sitting room. Very good cooked breakfast.

Cindy was an extremely good host, friendly and helpful, but also respected our space - perfect. The house itself is clean and well appointed, and Cindy’s breakfast is the perfect way to start a day!

Location perfect , you would hardly know that you were just a few miles from the A1, very pretty and quiet location.
Cindy a lovely host, nothing too much trouble, we had the twin room which overlooked lovely gardens. No en-suite but our own private bathroom just across from our room, this was ok for us.
Fantastic breakfast, we ate so much! Set us up for the day.

Lovely character property in a good location. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The best breakfast we had ever had in a b and b. The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating and tea and cake in the lounge was a fantastic welcome after being out all day.

Cindy, our host was very accommodating and welcoming when we arrived. We were given a choice of rooms and offered refreshments and asked if we needed supper.
The room was lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a home from home.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection and exactly to the time requested.
Cindy was very friendly and courteous.
I recommend the Whitehouse for families or to individuals.

Everything about our stay was fabulous, lovely room. Loved the open fire in the evening. Breakfast was the best we have had. Location is lovely nice and quite.. our host was exceptional

Host was lovely, very friendly, brought us toasted teacakes and coffee on arrival. Much appreciated in the very cold weather. Room was perfect, everything you could possibly need including fresh fruit, drinks facilities. Everything was beautifully clean. We were treated as if we were old friends.

The hosts were fabulously helpful at every turn. The house is extremely comfortable and thr breakfast was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more.

We received a warm welcome and our bags were taken to our room. We were invited into a welcoming homely sitting room and given tea, crumpets and cake. The bedroom was immaculate, light and airy and the bed comforable. Breakfast was superb. If you want a relaxed retreat then journey here. Nothing was too much trouble and we should love to visit again.

The house was beautiful and well equipped for guests to have their own space. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms very comfortable. The location was lovely although for some it may be too far out however being in the country road was peaceful

Cindy gave us a warm and friendly welcome to her beautiful home with a pot of tea, cafetiere, and baked goodies served in the sitting room - what a delightful treat! Our room was large and comfortable with a lovely view, and the large bathroom was just across the hall. Having a washbasin in the room was convenient. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were perfect, it was very quiet overnight, and we got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of items. It's a shame that we only had one night there, but we'll be staying for longer on our next trip.

The stay lived up to the fulsome reviews it has been given. Everything was done on a generous and rich hospitality basis. Breakfast was delightful. The grounds of the property are beautifully kept and the surrounding views give a peaceful vibe.
No improvement required but this is a property for those who like classical elegant B&B not modern minimalism or electronic gadgetry.
