We stayed for a couple nights and we’re really impressed with the cleanliness of the place, the hosts obviously work hard to keep it clean and well presented.
The kids loved the cubby house, the play yard and the chickens, a real high light! There were plenty of books and games to keep them quiet indoors too. Even a cot provided, so it’s very family and kid friendly

Pleasant and Comfortable Stay at Coppards Rest.
Thank you for a pleasant and convenient stay at Coppards Rest. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfortable beds and extra goodies provided by Linda. The children also enjoyed feeding the chickens, checking for eggs and the trampoline.

Our host Linda was extremely helpful, and the house was setup with lots of extra goodies when we arrived such as hot cross buns. Great place for kids, the caravan cubby was a huge hit, as were the chickens. The other bonus of the chickens were the fresh eggs we had available to us. The house is well equipped, and is ideal for relaxing and resting after being on the go all day. I'd definitely return to Coppards Rest next time we visit Geelong.

Perfect home for a relaxing family get away.

Very comfortable home but be aware of Rooster.
Home is very clean, great location, ideal for families. Host is extremely friendly and welcoming. Has nice chickens but unfortunately no mention of a rooster which crows at the crack of drawn and continuously throughout the day.

Best property I’ve stayed in and I ha e stayed in many . Beds comfortable, so clean . Felt like home . Owner Linda went above and beyond to help us . 10/10 will be back . Close to town great base !!

Best Stay Ever!!!
Linda was a great host, the place was spotless and the kids loved the chickens and the caravan to play in. Could not have asked for a better mini break and the cookies were delicious.
Cannot speak highly enough of the property and Linda as a host and would recommend anyone to stay there if they get the chance. We will definitely be back.

A gorgeous little house - very clean and quality fittings and furnishings. Everything we needed was there. The kids loved the cubby and feeding the chooks. We found the location quiet and convenient. We definitely plan t stay here again.

Delightful stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Coppards Rest. Lovely house with every possible amenity. Very clean with quality inclusions. The fresh eggs from the chickens and the muffins on arrival added to a wonderful stay. Excellent value and well located for shops & attractions. We were 4 women staying and would highly recommend.

Coppards Rest is a clean, comfortable, delightful home away from home.
Could not fault our stay. Already thinking of reasons to go back. Had everything we needed and were welcomed, accommodated and supported through our little mini break. It’s in a very accessible location with plenty of room for our vehicle (and boat). Hubby tootled off to various fishing spots while I attended a class in the heart of Geelong. The house is light, clean and spacious with every facility you could need. The beds were comfortable, the house was just easy to relax in. We were made to feel very welcome right from the outset with fresh scones on arrival and fresh eggs for our breakfast from the resident chooks! I feel like I have made a new friend in Linda (and her beautiful dog), she was easygoing, helpful and very likeable. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Lovely peaceful location

The house was spacious, light,clean and well laid out with ample room for vehicle parking and user friendly single level access.
The furnishings were a mixture of contemporary and tasteful older pieces.
Heating and cooling was plentiful with a very well fitted and designed kitchen.
A second bathroom would have been good, although only particularly if staying with a large group. A green backyard housing chickens added to the ambience and charm of our stay.Access to the property was easy with good signage, in a relatively quiet neighborhood location.

Amazing!!! Very impressed with Coppards Rest!
We recently had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Coppards Rest. Linda our host was lovely - very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The homemade cookies and sparkling cider on arrival were a lovely welcoming surprise. The house itself was immaculate with beautiful gardens and had everything we required during our stay. The chooks and cubby house were a huge hit with my toddler and we loved feeding the chooks and eating the delicious fresh eggs for breaky. The cot available for my baby was great & saved having to pack the portacot. The bedrooms were toasty and warm and the beds very comfortable with luxurious linen. Nice and convenient location to everything Geelong has to offer. We highly recommend Coppards Rest. Thanks again Linda for a lovely stay

Don’t look any further!
We are returning guests to Coppards Rest and will continue to return. Linda the owner is so lovely and accommodating, the property is spotless, spacious and has ample heating/cooking. It’s family friendly, close to everything and well priced. New kitchen is well set out, and the new bathroom is lovely. The cubby house is a huge hit with the kids, and the entire property is a home away from home.
We cannot wait to return yet again.

Backyard was full of chook Feces and was meant for our dogs but unusable.
Owner was the worst host we have ever experienced, we felt that she was not pleasant at all often quite rude and lurking around and invading our privacy, when we would go out, she would enter the property and snoop around, we did not like to go outside because the owner was often lurking and watching us.
THE CARPETS WERE FILTHY ON ARRIVAL AND NEEDED A GOOD CLEAN
seems that other people have also mentioned that the owner has a problem with certain people.
felt totally awkward and wanted to leave immediately,
advertised as dog friendly but owner seemed to have many issues with dogs,

Coppards Rest is a lovely place to stay - Linda the owner was so welcoming and had baked muffins for us on arrival, as well as putting on the heaters so that the house was warm and cosy. There was so much to keep the kids busy including the gorgeous little caravan cubby in the garden, and a very thoughtful selection of kids books & DVD's. We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coppards Rest. It's a cute little cottage with all you need. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the delicious muffins Linda baked for us were a great surprise. We recommend the cottage and will book again if we are back that way in the future
