The Host was miserable and rude.. The breakfast was crap.. uncooked egg and two slices of cheap white bread, She couldn't wait to kick me out in the morning.. I was made to feel unwelcome and also overcharged.. Booking,com stated the price and the owner demanded about £8 more than the price I expected to pay on Booking,com.. Also although very close to airport the Bstd taxis all refused to take me for less than 7 Euros !!

Everything.. and a rude, bad manered, unfriendly host... AVOID

Le petit-déjeuner était plutôt maigre, mais suffisant. L’endroit était très tranquille, car en dehors des trajets des avions qui n’arrêterais pas de survoler Espingueras. La patronne était fantastique, très aimable et prête à nous aider en cas de besoin. En grand merci à elle.

Le manque d’un petit pot de confiture.

Isabel is a very lovely and beautiful Person and I really enjoyed staying with her. i felt like at home.

I liked the host she is such a big-hearted lady, very nice, so hospitable! I liked the environment, clean and comfortable! The location was fine too.

The owner Isabel helped me a lot of to organize my travel in Cabo Verde. Thank you Isabel. The room and the bed was big and very comfortable. The common bathroom is very clean. Espargos is an excellent place to discover the island Sal, the Blue Eye an the Salinas de Pedra de Lume are very close. For a next time visit I would take Rooming house without any hesitation.

The host Isobel was amazing, kind, lovely and very welcoming. She has a great local knowledge of Cape Verde and humourous stories to tell. It is a very clean - a real home from home property where her lovely breakfast is a bonus. I cannot recommend The Rooming House highly enough. 10/10.
