Cottage has been renovated and styled worthy of NZ House and Garden magazine. Hosts attention to every detail for your comfort and convenience is 2nd to none. It's like staying at a close friends house while they are away.

We adored Harriett's Cottage! It was just beautiful, light and spacious. It had everything you needed. It had the loveliest courtyard you could sit out in. Eva spoiled us with lovely treats. She had thought of everything. It was quiet and everything was at your doorstep. We could have moved in! It was just delightful! We can't wait to come back. Thank you so much, Eva.

Every detail in this restored cottage is immaculately and tastefully done. Our host was so thoughtful, down to filling the pot with water for our afternoon tea! I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of comfort she provided: extra duvets, pillows, heated mattress (if needed), highest quality breakfast foods and basics in the fridge for us. This was the last few days of our stay in New Zealand and I can’t think of a nicer place to spend it in. We stayed in just to enjoy the back garden and sun one afternoon. It’s also right in the town center, perfect for short or long strolls. The bells of the cathedral on a Sunday afternoon were impressive and ebulliently rung! I can’t say enough about this property and its host. Stay here if you can!

Other reviewers have mentioned how clean, charming, and perfectly located Harriet's Cottage is. All that is true. We would also like to note that Eva was a gracious and generous host. She made herself quickly available to all communications and every need that we had, without ever being intrusive. She took care of us at every step, at the same time as providing us with complete privacy. And the bed is super comfortable. Best ever!

Wonderful place to stay in Nelson's amazing historical street. The place was incredibly clean, tidy, and new. It had everything we needed and is super handy to everything. Eva was so accommodating and helpful before, during, and after our stay. Looking forward to coming back sometime.

My partner and I loved visiting Harriets Cottage. A beautiful home, so central yet private, and fantastic communication and service from our host - we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Nelson.

Great location, everything we wanted to do we could walk or taxi to. The cottage is extremely well appointed, clean and fully equipped. We wanted for nothing and really appreciated the 'treats' Eva left for us. We had a fabulous stay and on the rainy day it was great for us to curl up on the window seat and comfy sofa to read. Eva has made a great job of outfitting this historic cottage. It felt homely and a stones throw away from the city centre. A reccomend and would stay again.

Fantastic just right for two

Loved this property. So well appointed for making our own meals. Tastefully decorated. Amazing outdoor patio and covered front porch. We would have loved to use them but it rained our whole visit. Loved how easily we could walk to shops and restaurants. Easy street parking and easy to drive to visit the beach or even the classic car museum. Would highly recommend this rental.

A great experience Better than we expected

Harriett's Cottage is a sensitively and immaculately restored Victorian cottage with a fine blend of genuine old and quality new furnishings. Generous provisions from a friendly host add to its warm welcome. It is quiet, nestled in the heritage quarter of Nelson and positioned for all day sunshine. We walked everywhere: city , river, hills... Five stars are not enough:)

We had a fabulous stay at this cottage. Great central location, full of all the amenities you could need, plus it was lovely and warm in winter. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Nelson!

A delightful one bedroom cottage in an excellent location.

This beautifully renovated cottage met or exceeded our expectations on every level. Great base for inner Nelson and very quiet and private.

The house, location, communication, and all that we could possibly want or need for a short stay. It would also be perfect for a long stay. So brilliantly equipped and hope to be back.

A delightful historic cottage located in the heart of Nelson city. Beautifully renovated with bespoke touches which made our stay memorable. A sunny courtyard garden with ripe feijoa growing, off a well appointed kitchen with thoughtful touches of granola, yoghurt and great coffee! We would love the opportunity to stay again at this little gem of a place.

Super quick communication with host, beautiful cottage 5 mins walk to cbd, quiet area in historic precinct, lots of extras touches through put, immaculately present,highly recommend

A little gem, presented to the highest standard.

We really rated Eva's property. We've stayed at BnBs all over the world and we'd have to say this stands up as one of the best. It is refurbished and decorated delightfully. It is beautifully equipped and has everything you'd need for a short (or long term) stay. We loved all the little touches Eva provides. All this and five minutes walk downtown. We will be back!
