We got an early checkin for 25Euros which was great. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The location was very convenient: close to sights, transit and restaurants.

The flat was a perfect place from which to explore Budapest for a few days. Check-in process was well explained ahead of time and worked perfectly. Two bedrooms on opposite sides of the flat provided enough privacy for each couple, and the communal areas were room enough to eat breakfast and sit together between outings. Host was very helpful with suggestions and with with arranging tours or transfers. Flat is an easy walk to the river front and a short walk to a key subway stop with three intersecting routes converging.

We were staying here before a river cruise. The property was great for our group, and the location could not be beat. The owners provided all the necessities, so when you walked in you felt ready to start vacation. George and Barbara were very responsive throughout the process. Will definitely recommend to others coming to Budapest. And we will plan to book again when we return.

The property was wonderful. We were so excited to stay there as the pictures looked great and it didn’t disappoint. The apt was well laid out - 2 nice size bedrooms off a main room. Having 2 bathrooms made getting around in the am so much easier. Really nice closets we were able to use too. Full size washer and dryer. They were nicely stocked too - extra toiletries all the pots pans and glasses you need plus a lot of nice extras like umbrellas raincoats and even slippers for the baths. Lots of great room in the bathroom I used - a great shelf to put things which is so helpful. Room darkening shades. It’s on the 3rd floor but has an elevator!! And after 2 weeks of climbing stairs that was much appreciated. Location is fantastic. Right around the corner from St Stephens’s and tons of restaurants in the surrounding streets. Super convenient to metro. Check in was self check in. That was how it was on our whole trip. Generally like the concept better. They have very good very detailed instructions in the apt. Very helpful. George was a great host. Super responsive and let us check in early. We also opted for his airport transportation which worked fantastic and put our mind at ease. Overall fantastic

Communication with the property owner was superb -- even the arrangements of having a driver pick us up at the train station. The location and comfort of the property was excellent -- would highly recommend this property. Don't be turned off by the court yard entrance -- the apartment is LOVELY! We arrived in Budapest and our hosts (George & Barbara) had a driver pick us up at the airport who took us to our street. The check-in process was easy and while the apartment was in the 3rd floor there was a lift which made it easy to get our luggage upstairs. The apartment was perfect for two couples with the bedrooms separated by the kitchen and living area. The street we were on had several very good restaurants including a Michelin 1* Textore right across the street. We highly recommend!

Overall a great location. Very walkable/accessable to most of Pest. We even walked to the Buda side several times.

What a find! We loved the location of the apartment and it was well stocked with everything we needed. The host is helpful and available. Apartment is located very centrally and we had everything at our fingertips from grocery stores to metro stops to entertainment yet once in the apartment it is completely quiet and restful. We have a child with food allergies and the kitchen was stocked with all that we needed to prepare breakfasts every day before heading out. Would absolutely stay here again on a future Budapest visit!

This 2 br 2 bath apt is on the top floor of an older building near wonderful restaurants, tourist sites including the Danube & public transportation. George, our host, was knowledgeable & helpful. We very much enjoyed our walking tour. Budapest exceeded our expectations & the apt was perfect for our needs.

Great location, very nice apartment. Quiet complex. Large bedrooms, well appointed. One item I would suggest is to make available a top sheet as the duvets were too warm for us. George and Barbara were very responsive to questions. Also George has a local guide business and his partner Viki was an excellent guide. Highly recommend their services!

We had a wonderful stay in Budapest and the unit was a major reason for enjoying our stay here. The apartment was really beautiful and modern. The two bedrooms and living room were decorated very tastefully and the owner have done a great job stocking the kitchen with all the amenities to make our stay a very enjoyable one. Finally, one of the best aspects of your apartment is its location which is central to all of Budapest's sites of interest and having nice restaurants at our front door was extremely wonderful. We would strongly recommend this location to friends or family for a nice place to stay in Budapest. Because of Covid issues, we waited three years to finally visit Budapest and the wait and this unit was worth it.

This property is well maintained and close to everything! The apartment itself is cute and clean and very quiet, despite being in a busy and fun area of town. The elevator was a nice feature. The security of the building is good. The host is very communicative and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect with wonderful restaurants right outside the door and close to any transport you need. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Budapest. The bedrooms are on separate sides of the apartment, each with their own bathroom, so you can have privacy, even when traveling with another couple.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is located in the hub of this vibrant city with easy access to Hop On Hop Off bus, St. Stephens Cathedral and other sites. George was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. The only drawback was that the interior courtyard was undergoing renovations during our stay. This however is not any fault of the host. We recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in Budapest.

George and Barbara were very easy to communicate with & very accommodating. The location is perfect for restaurants, shopping, and all the sights. Great bus line access. Apartment is well appointed and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and snacks 😁. The building entry way is not great but apt is on top floor with elevator access. They even provided small soaps and shampoo as well as a hair dryer. Corner grocery 1/2 block away for anything you need. Would stay there again if we return to Budapest.

Clean, well-equipped apartment wonderfully located in walking distance to many of the "must-see" sights of Budapest.

I stayed for 4nights in May, 2022 Location of the property is 10/10, in downtown, close to attractions, restaurants, bakeries & coffee shops. However, entrance area, leading to the apartment is foul smelling and not clean(1/10), needs improvement. The apartment itself is recently remodeled and modernized. It is nice and clean(8.5). The unit has 2 problems that needs to be fixed. The bathtub in 1 room is way too small & inconvenient to impossible to use. The washer & dryer is not working properly. Dryer simply won't work. So be careful before using the washer/dryer, i ended up drying my clothes with iron into the wee hours on the last night before I checked out. Overall, I would still recommend the unit based on its excellent location and cleanliness. I would give 8.5/10.

We had a great time! The apartment is lovely and the position is absolutely perfect , all you need is around it. George and Barbara are always there in case of needs, amazing host 😀 I wish we had more time , Budapest is awesome.

Extremely helpful hosts - very much enjoyed our stay. George was very quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Definitely recommend.

My father, in his 90's, and I were happy with the the apartment on Sas utca. We were in contact with Barbara before our arrival and during our stay. Always available when needed. We met with Kati, the housekeeper, on arrival and she gave us a red carpet tour of the apartment and answered all our questions. The apartment is spotlessly clean. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the kitchen seemed well stocked, although we only made breakfasts. There is a working lift. We had a car, which we parked at Erzsebet Ter (7000 forint / 24hrs), but we were able to walk to most of the sights in the city because of the great location of the apartment. The subway is close by and we used it to go to Hero's Square. We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and convenient apartment and would do so again.

The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is (well, two reasons) 1. the stairs are a workout with bags in tow. 2. no second key, so we were having to coordinate trips with our friends. And awkward entry.But given those two minuses....I'd stay here again! Loved the apartment. Awesome location. We were met by a lovely woman outside the apartment building ...and we were late from the train station. She was so helpful and friendly (even though her english was limited, she managed to answer all our questions). And lots of helpful maps and books and...everything we needed was right there. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable apartment. Great place!! Thank you, George.

Owners were very accommodating with our early arrival. Simple instructions made it easy to use laundry, secure apt, find recommended markets/restaurants, and relax. It was big enough for 2 couples. The stairs were a bit challenging for seniors with heavy luggage but worth it. We loved the location. Overall, this place exceeded expectations and we highly recommend staying there.

I can't say enough good things about George and Barbara. We mostly worked with George, he responded almost immediately to any questions we had. We needed transport to the airport and the 70 Euros were worth it, the driver was early and we were on time. The pictures are spot on. There were four of us and the bedrooms are separated by the living room so it works. Nice big fridge, beds were comfortable, furnishings excellent.Location is excellent, walking to everything. Restaurants close by and groceries just around the corner. Couldn't be better.The only complaint we have is the building itself. The foyer is dark and dingy and smelly. It needs a bit of paint and maybe have someone picking up the flyers. Also, the 80+ stairs up to the fourth floor. I don't see any elevator coming in soon. I would still recommend this apartment but be conscious of the stairs.Thanks for sharing your apartment.Canada, October 2018

The apartment is just like the photographs . It is perfect for 4 people with 2 beds/2 ensuite bathrooms.It is in the best location with the Basilica at the end of the street and other points of interest nearby. The street has lots of good restaurants on it , and a supermarket nearby. The owners are charming and always ready to help. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Best location and a well stocked apartment.The building is another story.The lobby smells and it is under construction.Our host was very responsive to our questions and was very helpful.
