The annexe is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is located on a lovely quiet street, within walking distance of Shaftesbury. The annexe is comfortable and the cleanliness is of a high standard. Would recommend the annexe and hosts to family and friends.

We have stayed here 4 times and it is consistently perfect in every way. Everything guests could possibly need is provided and it is immaculate. The hosts are exceptional as is the property. We always feel welcomed and thoroughly spoilt!

The accomodation was lovely , everything was provided , supplies including biscuits waiting . Everything immaculate .Very friendly and helpful hosts. Difficult to fault

Quilt on bed was a little heavy and hot for the week we stayed but that really is nit picking.

Very warm and convenient. Equipped with everything you need during a road trip, including a wash machine! Warmly welcomed by hosts, and they provided selfless support during our stay.

It was home away from home, with all facilities provided. Very quiet and lovely view of the garden from the living room. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, cooker/oven, washing machine plus recycling facilities. Walking distance to Gold Hill, where the 1970s Hovis advert was filmed. There is a Tesco and Lidl in town and good pub (The Mitre) with an excellent view of the countryside. A good base to explore the area.

A house on the very edge of a quiet but with a rich history of an amazingly beautiful town, a ten-minute walk from its historical center. Morning with birdsong, breakfast watching squirrels activity. Private parking in the courtyard of the estate. The location of the town is very convenient for exploring several counties. Fully equipped, medically clean, secluded accommodation but the hosts are very nice and friendly Ruth and Denis respond immediately when needed.

It should be emphasized that this is a full-fledged living accommodation, not once a cold functional hotel. It took us two days for us and the accommodation to recognize and accept each other. For a two or three day stay it is better to choose a hotel.

a beautiful place in a central location

Everything. It was lovely and clean throughout. Nice and quiet. Friendly owners. Spacious exceeded my expectations. One of the nicest place's I have ever stayed in.

There was nothing to not like.

The property is in an ideal location. Friendly and hospitable hosts, on hand if needed. The facilities were excellent - they've thought of everything. Nice and roomy and ideal.

This was an apartment were we could cook our own food, just like home. This place is a Bungalow with everything supplied. It has a Washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. They even left a fresh container of milk in the fridge and a fresh bottle of Olive oil. It is probably the best place like this we have ever stayed in, especially in England. We stayed for 4 nights and will remember it well. Unfortunately whilst we were there we got the news that the Queen had died and the reason we went to Shaftsbury was a total waste of time. However the accommodation is great. It also has a lovely garden that can also be used when it is sunny. A credit to the hosts.

Shaftesbury Modern Annexe is an excellent holiday flat. We enjoyed staying in this lovely place. It is absolutely clean, has everything you could possibly need and the furniture is new and very tasteful. Very comfortable and cosy! We absolutely recommend this place to everybody!

Just an oasis of calm, perfect base for a Dorset holiday and a visit to the great Dorset steam fair ! Everything you need to make a lovely holiday is contained within this gorgeous accommodation,comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and all rooms pristine clean. 10 min stroll to the town itself which has plenty of places to eat and drink along with lots of history and beautiful views. We will definitely return !!!

this self contained annex was very good value & like home from home. fully equipped with everything you need, very well presented and in a quiet location.

The location was ideal for the purpose of the trip. The annexe was very nicely laid out and very clean through out. Kitchen was well kitted out and had everything you would need. Hosts are very friendly and on hand should any issue arise. Was very comfortable to make it a nice, peaceful and relaxing trip.
