For an old hotel, it was perfectly clean. Everything we needed as in fully self contained. Walking distance from the shops. Not enough milk. We had to buy milk. there were only 2 little sachets. enough for 1 cup.

We have no complaints. it was what we expected and will stay there again. Parking was available, although a little tight for a large vehicle. No problem is we had a small car.

They put me in an unfurnished room - no couch just a bed placed against the wall in the lounge unfurnished/ underconstruction balcony & door could not lock from the outside .

Only good thing about this place was the location. centre or everything and easy walk to most places in the CBD.

Leaking roof. furniture falling appart. room smelled of stale smoke even from neighbouring units occupants smoking on the balcony. Whole room was covered in dust or grime of some kind with a sign saying we had to take our own rubbish out or else be charged a cleaning fee. all for an overnight fee that was WAY too high for the amenities. they were undertaking renos while we were there and the workers started nearly 1hr earlier than we were told they would. wouldn't recommend to anyone unless desperate.

Fairly good location, over road from Woolworths supermarket, booked only for cooking facilities, parking and washing machine and dryer in apartment. Only stayed 2 nights.

For what we paid you could do better. We were on the top floor at the back, it was noisy at night as sounds travel from adjoining street where the backpackers hotel is, and people shouting etc. Unit was ok, not particularly clean, bathroom drain smelt, mould on tiles and grout on floor tiles needs a good bleach, roof top gardens were disgusting and dirty, mouldy.outdoor carpet, could do with a real upgrade both inside and out. Pool needs painting. Bed was clean though. Be prepared for the noise from the birds in the trees out on the road, they are pretty dam loud at sunset and sunrise and if a disturbance occurs in the middle of the night. Probably wouldn't stay here again as there are better options available. We stayed in a different place In Cairns at beginning of holiday, a week earlier and it was much superior for about the same price. Just couldn't get in there again for these nights.

Very friendly and helpful front of house team. The apartment was very tired and needs to be upgraded but was passable for the cost and one night.

It wasn’t particularly clean, the bathroom had shaving hairs all around the sink and taps and there was general dust and dirt all over. On entering the apartment the floor had not been hoovered and there was dirt and debris that had perhaps dropped from bins (like bits of screwed up paper and tissue).
