Good location , spacious and clean room

Good value for money. Clean but basic. Comfortable bed.

Proximity to town and shops.

Would be good to have a microwave in the room. Didn’t notice we could borrow one till last day.

Hotel was in good location and good parking available

We didn't like the hard poached eggs and the very overcooked bacon, disappointing for an expensive breakfast.

Location Restaurant Parking

Only two teabags for two people per day No biscuits (Best Western always had biscuits on arrival and at least two teabags, coffee per person) Soap, shampoo containers too hard to use for elderly hands After asking reception for soap instead and told it would be sent up, not receiving it. Television not able to stream anything but Netflix Bathroom towel hook broken

What a hidden gem! We booked just for the one night, we had been travelling the north west and came down from Beaconsfield in the afternoon. Reception were very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy, it was just next door at a discounted rate of $6, you can park out the front of the hotel and drop off bags then go park the car, when leaving you can park at the back door and get your bags in the car from the lifts. So don't be put off by parking offsite, it's actually not what i would consider offsite. The room was big and spacious, plenty of room in the bathroom, with nice hot water and good water pressure. The TV was massive! We had a lounge to sit on instead of sitting on the bed to watch TV and we ate in the restaurant downstairs with the tram in the restaurant, how quirky! The drinks and food were reasonably priced and good value and it was great that after travelling all day we didn't have to go out of the hotel for food. The bed was very comfortable, the heating was cosy and appreciated as the weather had turned bad with wind and rain, but we felt very safe and secure in the hotel. The hotel is easy to find and is right in the middle of the CBD so lots of shops and restaurants are close by, so is the Cataract Gorge and City Park. Thanks again, we will be back for another stay if we are ever in Launceston.

Location was great; comfortable bed; staff friendly and helpful.

Car parking was a bit tight. Small bays and not enough room to easily move into and out of bays.

Staff are friendly. fairly central to everything. walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

The room was quite shabby, in need of a repaint. The bare minimum is all you get. Crappy coffee, but only 6 sachets & absolutely NO biscuits- sure there's a vending machine in the lobby if you want chips or chocolate. What's with the No face washers in the room, why do I need to ask for such a basic item? I know we're all trying to save money, but this is possibly not the way.
