When we had drinks at the bar where the table the night the glasses never got taken away they end up being 10 glasses on our table while we’re sitting there and the place was only about eight people in it. It wasn’t busy at all no excuse.

The pillows just squashed down into nothing so hard to sleep on. I expected plan noise but instead had taxis and cars beeping every 30 seconds until late at night. We also heard room service up and down the halls and people checking in. We could hear people chatting in the room next to us and walls paper thin. You should be asking what time peoples flights are the next day so those having to get up at 4am and want an early sleep can be further from the lifts of on another level away from others. I stayed here thinking I would get more sleep compared to home but I ended up with 3 hours. The beds were tiny think they were a double.

Victoria at reception was incredibly helpful. Smooth check in. Rooms are beautiful and location couldn’t be better.

Rooms are nice but the bathroom is looking a little tired. It was also very noisy with other guests banging doors in and out of the hallway when we were trying to sleep at night.

Dropped our hire car and only had to walk 200m to the lift for the hotel reception. Next morning after a wake up call could easily walk to Terminal 4 in about 5 minutes. Sound proof rooms so very quiet. Staff put an account under our door so could use express check out. If I had known how efficient both the Hotel and Jetstar were could have had an extra half hour in our comfortable bed!

Seems to be doing renovations. Very average facilities and wouldn’t say it was value for money considering the conditions.

This hotel is perfect if you need to stay at the airport pre or post flight. It is literally a three minute walk from all the terminals, so easy to get there. We had a standard room, which was more than sufficient, good sized bed, small seating area. The bathroom had a bath and a separate shower cubical. Check out is at 11 a.m. which is reasonable. We utilised the dining room and paid extra for breakfast (although strangely they only serve until 10:30am, so bit of a rush). There is a seating area in the foyer if like us you need to wait for your flight.

Staff weren’t overly friendly, particularly in the breakfast room. Disappointed with the surcharge for paying with a credit card - shouldn’t happen in this day and age.

Great location if you are travelling out of Melbourne early, arriving late, or enjoy plane spotting. The room was a decent size, clean, and comfortable. Great shower, a big bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly, even with the challenge of renovations. Buffet breakfast was nice, however a tad expensive. Minimal noise considering how close you are to the airport.

Paid for a runway view room, however the view was not the greatest, quite obstructed, may be better on a higher floor. Cost is quite high, especially considering it is undergoing renovations. The couch did not really fit and was not facing the window. As it is so far from Melbourne city, I would stay again, but only if we were flying out early.

The room was large and had all amenities. We were upgraded to a better room which had a view of the airport. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

There is quite a lot of redecoration works going on but it did not detract from our stay. No Easter eggs on Easter Sunday? Maybe the Easter Bunny couldn't find us!

Pricey for one night

The location was very helpful when travelling with children and with a long wait of 6h before our next flight.

Not being able to use the pool, as it was closed at the time we arrived around 10:00pm. For an Airport hotel and with passengers arriving at different hours it would be great if it was open so we could have gone for a short swim which we were looking forward to.

The location was excellent for an early morning flight.

When you pay $375 per night then I would expect more than a single doona on a double bed. In our twin double bed room, both beds only had single doonas. Difficult when two in each bed. Didn’t like that we were billed for mini bar even though we didn’t use it.

Location was why we booked.

The 65 dollars for a buffet or else you had to sit in the bar which was full and not fitted with appropriate tables for food consumption. Ridiculous amount of money for hotel under construction. Next time it would be cheaper to book a night in a nicer hotel in the city plus a taxi fare. Won't ever book again

Refurbished rooms a great improvement on the past.

The restaurant is being refurbished and main offering is a buffet. The food was good but limited choice. The alternative à la carte service in the bar could not be booked and was overcrowded. No warning of the limited catering was provided when booking.

Was not happy that a staff member (we assume) entered the room with a key or knocking on the door. We had been in the room for less than an hour. I did report this to checkout staff, have not had any follow up explaining why this happened
