quiet location but had some bars and food places just outside. exquisite views in the sea view rooms. comfy beds and pillows and access to a whole kitchen in the basement. had a fridge and large balcony. bathroom was really nice too.

nothing to dislike to be honest. it’s a bit up hill going back from the square but that’s nothing to do with the property.

Very comfortable stay and rooms. Quiet and cleaning services respectful, not disturbing. I stayed a week. There are baths in twin rooms, air con and all you need. View on the ocean from almost all rooms. If you love cats, there s a sanctuary just near by with baby kittens full of love. They belong to the local associations. Staff very helpful and kind.

Fridge stops when you leave the room and defrosts your stuff ... Also lots of noise at night so i unplugged it.

Close to town centre but quiet with a great view of the ocean and beach.

The key card for the room switches the power on when in th eroom but if you go out it switches the electricity off which defrsts the fridge.

the wifi was almost completely useless, and at times there was no staff present to answer any questions we had.

Frentomar is a great place, located right on top of Albufeira's beach and in the beginning of the old town. We were 5-10 minutes away from all the bars/restaurants in the beautiful old town (where it was much more noisy than on the street of our hotel). My favorite thing was the location and the balcony which opened beautiful scenery to the city, the palm trees and the sea. The hosts were also nice, check in was easy. Staff was friendly. We had a lot of towels and they also changed them every day.

The refridgerator was making noise so we had to turn it off. Also, the room temp was either too hot or too cold. We had some trouble to make it moderate, keep in mind that we were there during April when the nights are much colder than in the Summer.

Fantastic location. Clean as a whistle. Staff and helpful and friendly as could be wished for. Amazing value.

The wifi connection in my room didn't work (I had the room on the third floor on the seaside). Early in the morning there are some seagulls that are really loud and sometimes they woke us up. These two aspects didn't comprise our overall satisfaction and we would definitely come back to this hotel!

The location is very good, walking distance to the beach. The view from the balcony very nice.

The wi-fi signal was good but the router needed to be reset from time to time. The price was a bit high for the condition of the building.

location was just right , far enough to walk to old town yet not too close to be disturbed with late evening noise. view was great, we had a sea view and partial sea view with balconies both where excellent to sit on and enjoy the evening sunsets , you would pay a lot more for this at other establishments, read the description of what is offered and supplied , this is exactly what you get and pay for .The owner was very accomodating spoke good english , rooms cleaned regularly ,although we did not use ,a fully equipped downstairs kitchen, is available

Great position, just set back from the main night life. Was hoping for a full sea view and got half Street half sea so view wasn’t great. Definitely value for money.

Would definitely recomm this fabulous hotel which is situated in a quiet area between the marina and old town, right overlooking the sea but within walking distance of the main square with all the buzzing bars and restaurants. Definitely book a sea view, it is so worth it catching the sunrise in a morning and chilling in the balcony. The rooms are kept spotless and there is a fridge and tea making facilities while was great. If you are a cat lover, the cat park is right below on the jetty, they are cared for by a charity and you are able to visit them, they are friendly too.
