The room has a carpet with an intense smell of chimicals; this was not so proper for our child with alergies...but overall we handled the situation

The excellent location is very clean and has very polite staff. For healthy eaters, the breakfast provides fresh veggies and fruits. Easy to reach the main street, not to mention that it is close to my favorite coffee shop in Brasov, "Galleria Art and Coffee", which offers, besides good coffee, a great view over Tâmpa.

I traveled with my kids, one of them being 3 years old. Booking on booking.com i opted for a 4 people room with half board. In the hotel at dinner, at first, they refused to give the ordered dish to the my kid, as per unwritten hotel policy that 3 years old get free lodging but NO FOOD. After debates and showing that i booked the hotel for 4 person and the fact that there is no where written that half board is granted based on age, they gave my son his dinner. Regardless my dinner was ruined, only good thing is that my kids didn't understood what was going on. I would advice anyone going to these hotels to email the hotel directly and ask for complete list of policies. It's a shame as the hotel is very well placed and the room (the duplex at least) is very nice, but these kind of behavior (Romanian behavior) will definitely rule out all Ambient accommodations , both business and leisure, for me in the future. I don't usually write reviews, but i understood that this practice is common at this hotel especially with foreigners.

Nice hotel located around 15-20 minutes walk from the city center. Helpful team at reception. Breakfast nice but more suitable for 3-starts hotel.

One day hot water was a little bit rust color. Looks that was done some maintenance on hot water tubing.

it was clean, the room was comfortable the food was good and it was close to the city centre.

i did not like tha fact that it was very noise due to some guests that were very noisy and nobody told them anything. the receptionist did do anything about it. I could also hear everything through the walls
