The location and proximity of restaurant choices

The air conditioning in our room did not work adequately and the bathtub leaked all over the floor when being drained.

Our bathroom door didn’t close and our AC wasn’t working well, our room was extremely hot

Excellent breakfast; Highly professional and friendly restaurant & buffet staff; the staff was very attentive, always available and ready to help even during an overcrowded weekend as the one one we've stayed in.

It doesn't match the standards of a 5 star hotel & the suite even less; Decoration and facilities need urgent intervention and maintenance; The hotel has areas were decay and damage is clearly visible (eg.: overall paint job; decorative exterior neons; holes in some walls and divisions; stains in the suite bathroom; Room decoration is as cold as a surgery room; minimalism is not synonymous of emptiness and discomfort. Bed is too hard; light is too harsh & with a cool hue; the balcony furniture is very discomfortable; on the contrary the living room is pleasant.

The bed was very comfortable, as were the sofas/chairs in the living and bedroom. The front of house staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet also good - lots of variety and well presented.

The hotel is very dated and probably beyond refitting - but it would make a great location for a dystopian horror movie; lots of dark walls and scary mirrors. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, no cooking equipment (or space for it) in the kitchenette, a massive but stained bathtub with a 'save water' sign above it, lots of wardrobes but only 8 hangers for 2 people for a week... This hotel has the feel of a place going through the motions of a resort location but very much on borrowed time.

Everything was simply great! If you need to relax and calm down this is the place to go. The hotel and surroundings are quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is superb - diverse and delicious. Also recommend dining at the buffet. The indoor swimming pool (not the spa one) is great for kids and the water is quite warm! Saving the best for last: the staff is simply 6 stars, the nicest and most professional you'll find :))

As it was Winter time, almost everything - from cafeterias to restaurants and other shops - was closed. So if you plan on staying in Troia (not driving to Comporta or even taking an ferry to Setúbal) you'll probably end up having your meals at the hotel.

The check-in, the Spa and massage region, the little extras given by the hotel, the attention of the staff, the views of the balconies.

When we arrived one remote control lost always the cap of the batteries and one TV worked only when using a trick which a staff member had to explain.The pillows of the bed and I reserved a big double bed but we had 2 beds connected and with two mattresses. The food of the restaurant and room service was not close to meet the expectations in regard of the price. On the last morning the choices at the breakfast buffet have been reduced by 20% and there was only one person of the staff working there and she was badly mooded.
