The staff was very nice and helpful, including the breakfast staff that went out of its way to help me as I have mobility issues. My room was spacious and clean. The bed was fine. There is a wide range of stores of all kinds within walking distance, although many close early it being a business district. Overall, the facilities are nice, although a face lift would so wonders.
I did not like my bathroom. It was much too small, and there was no vanity to keep your toiletries. The shower curtain was one foot above the floor and, consequently, the water flowed all over the floor.

Synes de har litt rar innsjekk tid. Aldri opplevd ett hotell som har kl 16 som innsjekk. Og det var veldig vanskelig å få til tidlig innsjekk, kontaktet hotellet en uke i forvei, for å spør om tidlig innsjekk, noe de sa kanskje ikke kunne garantere. Men de ba meg ringe inn en time før jeg ankom hotellet og snakke med de da. Men ble bare avvist i telefon, måtte dukke opp for å snakke med de.. litt dårlig service akkurat rundt dette.
Jeg har ikke noe problem med å betale ekstra for tidlig innsjekk, og det står på deres hjemmesider at det skal være en mulighet, mot avgift. Men fikk aldri tilbud om det.
Vi fikk til slutt sjekket inn 13-13:30 tiden, og det er jeg veldig takknemlig for at de klarte å gjøre for oss. Da jeg reiste med barn og var sliten.

Beliggenheten og pris. Passelig langt unna oslo s. Flere reisealternativer. Koselige ansatte. Deilig frokost. Resepsjonisten som møtte oss ettermiddag lørdag da vi ankom er ett pluss for hotellet.

Een mooie comfortabele kamer en een erg uitgebreid ontbijt.
Het zicht vanuit de kamer op een kantoorgebouw was niet echt bijzonder. In de onmiddellijke nabijheid is er erg weinig te vinden.

Staff was extremely helpful when my debit card didn't work. Breakfast was best I had in Norway. Close to museums and restaurants. Id definitely recommend and stay there again!

The parking.. the staff of reception didn’t clear it good from beginning that the payment of parking is in the same time of enter I got a fines because of theme they must know we are tourist and we don’t know and it was our first place to visit..

Breakfast was great, room was comfortable and staff was helpful (but I think that's like that in all the Scandic hotels). It's located in nice place to start the trip (by foot) to Viking Museum, Fram and then the ferry to Oslo center. If you don't expect a "night life" it's perfect.
I was surprised, that Hotel lobby bar/restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Also - google maps is leading you to side entrance (openable only by a card after checking in) - It's not only me who was confused, I met a guy from Norway who was also trying to figure out how to enter.

Close to the nearest rail station so transfer from airport is a breeze. Reception staff are so welcoming. Room was as expected. Great bar and restaurant on the lower level. Beers on tap are rather limited and the menu is rather small but tasty and fulfilling.
