Extrem kleines Zimmer ( sogenannt superior🙈!). Bett superweiche Pfanne. Bad miserabel ausstaffiert: keine Kleenex(Gesichtskosmetiktücher), kein Badteppich vor Dusche- man muss nass auf dem Plattenboden stehen, wenn man sich keine zusätzlichen Handtücher verschafft. Extrem eng. Wirkt wie ein eingebauter Schrank.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und bietet alle nötigen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Frühstücksbüffett ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Auch das Abendessen im hoteleigenen Restaurant ‚Roast‘ hat uns gefallen.

Die Zimmer sind recht klein und hauptsächlich funktional, aber ausreichend für einen Kurzaufenthalt. In der Winterhochsaison ist es vor allem beim Frühstück sehr voll und die Schlange am Cappuccino-Tresen wird lang.

The room had huge windows with a beautiful view and it was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection and with barista-level coffee station. Great location as it is a pickup point for many transfers and tours.

The bed side table was made of wood, but it had dirt and small pieces of garbage in the cracks of the wood - should be more careful with cleaning them in particular. The staff from the coffee counter was rude in one of the days.

Hotel was in a great location to restaurants, shops, bars and pickup for excursions. The view from the breakfast room was incredible. Though most of the reviews praised the breakfast for being the best in Norway, it had a wide variety of options available, but not all were great. Coffee was great. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating.

The rooms sometimes felt very hot at night. Upon arrival, the shower had a few hairs from previous guests but was cleaned straight after the complaint.

- No telephone in room ( u can’t call asking for service) - Family room is too small to fit more than 2 persons - Very lousy house keeping service (only changing towels no cleaning and bed making, improved after complaining ) - No concierge or luggage pick ups service - Hotel parking is too small and was full during my whole stay , have to use public pay parking

Scandic Ishavshotel Tromso This was a great starting point for our trip throughout Norway! The breakfast will not be beat! They had everything! And lots of it! Reception was welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. Only slight negative was the rooms do not have temperature control and it got quite warm. We could open a window though, but that was very cold! (We visited in late June)

The location of this hotel is fabulous, the breakfast that is included is really good and huge options to choose, the bed is comfy, the bath is nice and the service is overall very good The view from our room was amazing

They should have an A/C for the hot summer nights, the fan they provided is not enough

A rather big hotel with an impersonal feel.

Breakfast was amazing!

Firstly the location is superb cos its besides the jetty. You have a beautiful scenic view of the hotels & boats reflecting on the water. Like a piece of art whenever you look out of your window. The staff really gives you the best advice of where to eat & sightseeing. Many tours you can enjoy in Tromso.

Rains frequently but sometimes is just a short period for the day.

Superb location, breakfast and the waterfront view.

I liked the location and the view from the room. The breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh and tasty options. I was impressed with the coffee bar.
