Close to airport..we were travelling south so decided to have an early night..room looked great on website but was a bit tired and jaded in reality..furniture and woodwork chipped and stained. The front of house staff were pleasant and check in was smooth. We had room service..tasty food and excellent temperature. Was there on a Sunday..got the impression it was skeleton staff but they managed great.

On entering our room there was a slight damp moldish smell...Went to bed 9pm woke at 12 for a bathroom visit and stepped onto a soaking carpet ..not slightly damp ..the room was flooded..checked for burst pipe or something from bathroom ...Nope...It was a total mystery. Our luggage was wet shoes etc..phoned reception and they found us a room nearby..we had to repack and move..( no choice)..but no help as no staff!! Room was cold and we couldn't heat it up..difficult to return to sleep.. Following morning no acknowledgement of the situation actually they knew nothing about it..lack of communication with staff....and no recompense nor acknowledgement of what had just occurred the previous evening...which was no fault of ours..

Très bonne nuit de douceur après les péripéties d'un voyage harassant : j'ai apprécié la baignoire, le grand lit confortable, la bouilloire, la lumière tamisée pour une ambiance cosy....

We were travelling with our pet (a small dog), and the staff were very lovely about it. The prices we needed to pay overall were clear from the beginning, so no surprises upon arrival. The breakfast selection was good. The room was tidy, clean, and quiet.

Was a stopover - bed was comfortable, staff were polite, cost was a bit high but as it was close to the tram into the city and we arrived late (they have transfers) was good for us.

Comfy bed , the interior decor was excellent .The gardens too were very nice .We had an evening meal which was very tasty and the service was good.

The Breakfast was very disappointing , as we had to cook our own eggs , toast - get our own coffee.

The staff were amazing! I left my wallet in my room before my flight… they found the wallet and brought it to me at the airport (with 15mins to spare before my flight!!) truly exceptional service!!

Staff at reception spoke English quiet well,which was very helpful when explaining about the trams. Great choice at breakfast. Tram into Bordeaux train station only 2 minutes walk from hotel.

Only one bottle of water in the mini bar even though 2 people staying in the room. Arrived on a late flight, so bars and restaurants closed when we arrived, and no vending machines in the hotel for drinks or snacks. Rang hotel from airport to order shuttle bus, but answering machine message was in French, (obviously) so didn't understand. Maybe add the message in some other languages as well.

Shuttle service; good bed; decent-sized room. Restaurant available for dinner, although menu is somewhat limited; nice wine service. Afternoon shuttle driver who also tends bar.

Plush, trippy Decor is rather dated. Front desk staff didn’t know that lunch was available in bar.

paper cups in the room for tea and coffee was awful, paper cups for breakfast was awful. why not china crockery like the plates and bowls? the menu selection for the evening meal was very restricted but tasty and well cooked. The menu option for the evening meal at 24€ as shown in the Booking.com advert was not known to the staff in the hotel.

Room design and quality. Good breakfast. Simple check in.

No signage for pedestrians from the airport terminal. We arrived at 0200h after a much delayed flight and a french telephone number with an automated french language message and menu of options were nearly too much for us: a very unsettling and scary experience. Breakfast cleared too promptly.
