Breakfast, adorable cottage, comfortable bed

Nice and comfortable room with private access through the garden. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool ! Very friendly hosts. Delicious breakfast served on the terrace. Good location, very quiet, close to tram to Bordeaux (P+R)

The property is set in suburban area about 10km from the airport. We had a morning check in so and would have needed to drive through Bordeaux rush hour which is seriously slow. It’s location meant that we arrived there the night before and had a great nights sleep and 5 minutes to the airport stress free. Restaurants about 20 minutes walk and a few pizza parlours too. Secure parking behind electric gates is a real bonus - especially with a hire car- Less stress and no scratches! It has a small pool with a decking area around it and sun loungers that all worked. We were received by Isabelle, who manages/owns the place. A really smiley welcome that was nice to gave after our four hour drive. She offered us cool water carafe and ice. Showed us to our room. Our room was clean and tidy with an extra large king size bed that gave us a great nights sleep. The area is very quiet with no aircraft noise which surprised us. Breakfast is brilliant. Continental style but home made jams, fresh croissants and bread with fresh fruit. Fresh orange juice with a fair selection of teas and the coffee was lovely. Price wise it is very competitive for the area and given its proximity to the airport means cheap late flights into Bordeaux are now feasible and a fresh start early in the morning to onward destinations. We thought it good value for the money. We both enjoyed the stay and the staff are fluent English speaking. We would recommend the place for the reasons stated above.

Nothing jumps out as being unlikeable.

We arrived an hour earlier than the check-in time stated on booking.com, there was no one at the property & phoned several times which all went to the voice mail in French which we did not understand! Only when I messaged the property via Booking.com we got some kind of reply back & someone came to the property 30mins later. The rooms we slept in was not in the main house, but separately built building in the garden with very bad sound-proof roof. It rained the during the night and you can hear the raindrops hitting the roof all night. Surroundings were not very much appealing/feels safe to go out.

This is a beautiful place. The owners are fab. Breakfast was on the terrace and more than sufficient. We had homemade yogurt and jam, gorgeous Very quiet area and very handy for the airport. Just the place to relax. Also close to the tram line for visiting city centre
