Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, leider gab es durch pöbelnde Leute auf dem Markt in der Nacht größere Lärmbelästigungen, was sehr schade für dieses Hotel ist. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten Zimmer mit Balkon, die Aussicht von dort war allerdings nicht so schön. Dafür hat uns das Bullauge im Zimmer mit wunderschönem Blick auf Bautzen und seine Türme entschädigt.

Friendly staff! The hotel is very good close to the old town.

There’s no air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open in the heat and were woken several times by people chatting noisily outside or guests arriving late with their suitcases. There seems to be a bowling club behind the hotel - when booking, I recommend you ask for a room facing the city.

Parking cost 10 Euros, which I found out only in checkout.

Stopped here overnight whilst driving back from a charitable trip to Ukraine. The location was amazing, Bautzen is a fairytale town. The hotel staff were friendly, funny and super helpful

Central location - Great staff. The rooms were really clean. Parking is right behind the hotel. The Hotel restaurant was really good!

They have a rule that housekeeping must be ordered by reception. Unfortunately this was missed to inform us when we checked in. Housekeeping did come to check on towels, but walked past dirty glasses and a full rubbish bin! Our mini bar was not restocked, therefore we had to bring our own drinks! We couldn’t get on to the promised free WiFi, which was sad, as we had no mobile reception and therefore were left without access to internet! Overall, this probably has been the worst hotel stay in my life and we have stayed in plenty of hotels! During the checkout we were given free parking and got the beer from the minibar for free! However, at no point did I see that parking wasn’t free! No problem, we would have paid it! We paid the room upfront before we checked in, but we’re told that I still have to pay a difference of some $30 for the stay! After explaining to the receptionist and showing her my confirmation email, which showed a different price they then let us go! The hotel is in a great location, but their new money saving procedure is not working, I hope they will learn from it! We won’t be back, as there are other great boutique hotels for less of the price available!
