Location is excellent. Staff is always nice, polite and helpful. Room is decent enough. We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4, they gave us the connecting rooms which is very convenient. The young lady at Front Desk gave us a dinner discount voucher from a nearby restaurant when I asked for restaurants’ reference which turned out quite nice. Thank you.

Location and size of room were ok..the problem was the a/c, we stayed 6 nights in the hotel with a fan they provided me. Air condition did not work properly during our 6 nights in the hotel.
We reported the malfunction of the air condition but the electrician and general.manager informed us that the air condition was working. This was not true.

Location was excellent.
There is only 1 very small elevator with a push door that is slow.
Bathroom amenities are lacking. Only shampoo and no body wash or hair conditioner. Bathroom soap are super small bars.
Limited place in the room to lay anything down. Only a desk.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Savoy and I will not stay anywhere else in Bern! This hotel is the absolute best place to stay in Bern. It is clean, comfortable, and the location is amazing for people who will be using the train to travel throughout Switzerland.

Close to the train depot. Located in the old town, close to restaurants and markets. I liked the clean design of the hotel and the helpful staff. Quiet. Ability to have a glass of wine outside.

This hotel is a hidden gem, near transportation and sight seeing. The hotel was clean and cozy and the staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Ivan at the front desk. We are planning to come back next Christmas.

Location was great. But staff, particularly Ivan, was incredible. Ivan was so helpful over and over again and really helped make our stay wonderful. He and his female colleague that was working on New Years Eve in the evening were wonderful.
There was also a maid there from Portugal that spoke Italian as well and she was extremely helpful. I didn’t get a chance to find out her name but we had an issue and she went above and beyond to help us take care of it.
Grateful to all for such a wonderful stay. One of the best we’ve ever had.

The room was tidy and size was enough to stay for two person for single night. The location was closer to the main railway station than I expected.
