Nice location (a bit up hill), in the old town. Staff very helpful. Rooms were clean.

Rooms too small and breakfast overpriced.

After fracturing my ankle, Hotel Tralala was the ideal place to stay in Montreux to access public transport to get back home by train. The hotel was in a quiet location with the bonus of having a Montreux Jazz vibe and a fountain next to it

They seemed short staffed with no evening dining available, breakfast was plentiful and varied

The location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good selection at breakfast. I didnt want to walk so the 206 bus directly Infront of the hotel was very handy.

It was a bit noisy. My room is next to the street and I could hear the sounds of the traffic.

Excellent breakfast- a wide variety of food served in the very interesting music-themed restaurant/ bar area. A quiet location in the charming older part of town, yet very conveniently placed for access to the centre and lakeside.

A fan was thoughtfully provided, though I wonder whether air conditioning would be an improvement.

very clean, right across from a bus stop, staff was so friendly and helpful. decor is adorable. Helpful hint: from the train station, take the escalator down to Ave des Alpes, take a left, go less than half a block to the bus stop. Take bus #206, to Les Planches (be sure to signal a stop), right across from the hotel. Saves a long uphill walk. Bus 206 gets you most places you need to go.

Rooms are very small and breakfast is average

The Hotel was well situated for access to the amenities of Montreux, the shops, restaurants and walking distance to the Lake & it's shoreline promenade. Opposite the Hotel was a bus stop, 100m to the railway into Montreux or up the mountain to Haut des Caux. The Hotel had a lift which was great after a long day walking in the mountains or along the Lake shore. The jazz festival theme & music memorabilia throughout the Hotel gave the Hotel its own uniqueness. Breakfast though continental style was hearty with choice.

No nothing really to be critical of - however for a weeks stay the room was compact (good balcony with views of the Lake & France) but didn't really have anywhere to hang clothes & coats.

The hotel is located in a charming and quiet area, further away from the touristy part but close to all the hiking trails and the town's older part. The room was clean and totally met our expectations!

The sound isolation is pretty bad. We could hear absolutely everything from the neighbour's room, the doors opening/closing on the floor were waking us up dozens of times during the night :(

1) no tea-making facilities / mini bar / fridge 2) the eating area smelt of drains one day while I met friend for coffee (maybe they were cleaning it?)

the beds were very very uncomfortable, snd rooms were noisy there was only one pillow, there was no air conditioning or heater in the room, no tea and coffee facilities, hotel was very out of the town up very big hills, the breakfast was 30cf but wasn't very good at all and the cheese was dry I wouldnt use again

Room was nice and clean. Hotell offered parking. Good breakfast and the staff was helpful.

Small bathroom and problem with varm/cold water

The bathroom was quite spacious. The interior was nice.

We were kind of disappointed. We had one of the three junior suites and probably the smallest one. There wasn’t any fireplace nor a terrace. Just a normal room…we expected more for that price. The bathroom was nice, huge bathtub! Also, always check the price directly on the hotel.

The hotel is very cute with a music theme. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size. Very affordable for Montreux. It's located in the old town which is very nice and has nice views of the lake below.

The rooms need a little TLC/renovation as you can clearly see the wear and tear. The hotel is a little out of the centre (10 min walk) and on top of a hill but luckily there is a bus that takes you to and from the centre.

I stay 2 Nights . but everything in bathroom is not OK...under standard It's not worth the money.

The lobby decoration was interesting!

The bathroom was small and not well lit, plus the shower curtain had holes in them. The location is not far from the main street but the walk is all uphill and there are no shops nearby, will need to go back to the main street so quite inconvenient.

Parking is always a problem in Montreau
